Pronounced as ‘cheapie pay’. Of the two main tourist beaches in town, this is my favorite. A little wider and lighter sand. But less food spots than the Malecon beach.

Beautiful area! Reminds me of West Palm Beach, Florida in an small scale, the fresh seafood 🦞 amazing 😉 you can literally go to the beach 🏖 and wait for the fisherman’s to come back to shore with a fresh load, some of the fishes are still moving, they cleaned in front of you, amazing experience I loved! You can not beat that anywhere, on top of that Is so close from Guayaquil about an hour and half drive on a nice road. Worth the trip awesome weekend.

Nice public family beach in Salinas. You can get snacks like bollos, empanadas, granizados, churros and others on the beach. You will find beach chairs and parasols available for rent on the beach. Waves are usually small for kids to play. Can get crowded on holidays.

This is such a gorgeous beach and well worth the visit. Salinas has some amazing things to offer and if you are able, I would make a moment to stop in and check it out. The beaches are very clean and it is crawling with vendors that will bring you just about anything you can think of. Every one of the local restaurants has someone that walks the beach and offers to bring you food and drinks. This does not even begin to address the number of local vendors that are out and bringing you local things like shirts, pants, jackets, sunglasses and everything else possible.

The good: One of the best beaches in Salinas for sunbathing and swimming. Doesn’t get as crowded as the other beaches and not rocky which is great for hanging out in the sea. The bad: Went after carnival and unfortunately the beach was extremely dirty. The local government should really consider doing more beach clean up especially after big events. The other thing is some sellers are too insistent for you to buy the products.

This place is nice. Probably better than Selena's beach but the is less to do that side. No jet skis fewer stores and restaurants. But hey it's nice.

La mejor de salinas... definitivamente es mi playa favorita en este lugar... If you are around Salinas you Should visit it... water is clear and not too cold, the sand is soft and clean... and the view is great...

I liked this beach more than the other Salinas beach (San Lorenzo). It's more flat and more calm (peaceful). There seem to be fewer people and the waves are smaller and weaker. You may go to the very end of the beach as long as you don't try to enter the naval (military) area. Otherwise, you may be asked to back off.

Good clean bathrooms, tourist type shoes, one place to eat, the views and smells of the ocean are combined with the sound of the waves crashing on the rocks, produce a feeling of being at one with nature.

Ecuador needs to work hard on its tourism. This beach has nothing special to offer.

This place is good probably better than any other beaches in the area, which is really empty, at least on weekdays compared to malecon Beach, if you like to be around people may be not the place is too empty but if not then is just perfect and parking it's easy to find.
