My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Posada Estrella/Lone Star. We loved it so much we even extended our stay for an extra day! The hosts are lovely, super friendly and helpful, and their home is spacious, clean, beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. The pool was so refreshing during these hot days here in Ecuador and we absolutely loved the free breakfast. So healthy, nutritious and homemade (the pumpkin bread, cinnamon buns and cookies were all made by our host😊). The location is great - walking distance from El Paseo mall or a quick taxi ride. Close to lots of restaurants (or easy to order online from the menus the hosts have available). Rooms are clean and well equipped with closet space, a mini fridge and ours had a lovely large king sized bed - so comfy. I could go on forever about how we enjoyed our time here. Highly recommended!

This was a great inexpensive place to stay. The hosts were friendly, the breakfast was tasty and the coffee was ready at 6am.

I travel full time and have stayed in thousands of hotels. The 5 star reviews are earned and they would be 10 stars if that was an option. The owners are great people that have created a very unique small hotel. From the memory foam mattresses to the beautiful murals and the amazing breakfasts everything is clean and comfortable. You truly get more than you pay for and im already looking forward to returning.
