Such a beautiful and wonderful place, in the bed of nature. Have a natural fall and the only noise you here is of water. We stayed in tree house and it was very nice and comfortable. Not to forget food, ahh it was so delicious. Staff was very kind.

We booked a stay with the resort for 2 days. It is located in the lush green plantations of Kallar. It is far from the tourist spots and famous places to visit from Munnar, so it is recommended to travel with own vehicle. If you want to enjoy the peaceful stay reconnecting with nature this resort is good. The waterfall in the property makes it even more enjoyable. Food is good, quantity is very good but breakfast has a fixed menu which is updated everyday as per guest preferences. Rooms are a big negative in this property, the size is medium. Bed size is very small. There is no mirror in the room neither a dressing table. We booked for rockhouse and tree house. The chairs given to sit outside in the veranda are also not of good quality. Overall the rooms are far below the value for the money. Another point to note for travellers is that the rooms, restaurent and reception is situated quiet far and its a small hike through the hill to go everywhere so those who are not privy to such activities might find it tiring as there is no room service. Overall we had a good stay.

Stayed in Honeymoon Cottage - vibe is pleasant and calm. River view and nature sound is awesome. Balcony is great for candle light dinner. Food was good. Compact room but value for the money. Over all more than value for money.

What a memorable stay...They received us with a smile and warm welcome drink the way to resort was the most adventurous and memorable one.The service provided by the management was really good & food was great .There is an amazing balcony view which we enjoyed alot . Overall it's been a great experience.

We had a wonderful stay , it was exactly what we hoped- feeling in touch with nature, amazing food, lovely staff! A unique experience which is highly recommended- you do need a good level of mobility to access the rooms and restaurant but this should be fine for most!

Ela Ecoland Nature resort is a beautiful property located amidst lush green forests. It gives a break from the regular city life. Strolling in the forests and sitting by the waterfalls in the resort is a great experience. Food is tasty and serves for all palates. It’s a bit away from Munnar city which might add to the travel time. The ambience of the resort completely makes up for it !

I was very excited to be living in Ela Ecoland as it looked like it nestled right in the Forrest by the river and everything looked great in pictures cut to the day I arrived there…going everywhere within the place was like hiking which would not suit you if you aren’t up for so much exercise to just reach reception or anywhere else within the place. The river due to high tide was not advised to enter in. I was looking forward to it hence was disappointed. I understand this is nature and it wasn’t in their hands and they are only trying to protect people. Moving on to something within their hands. The room - Rockhouse. The moment I entered the room and open the curtains the rod and curtain both fell down. I shifted to the room next to it. The mat on the floor was unclean and damp. The bathroom floor was sticky and I couldn’t figure out the hot water either. The overall smell of damp room made me uncomfortable and uneasy. The resort was very quiet and as if there was no one except me. Being a solo travel coming from the hustle bustle of the city like Mumbai, this isn’t something I was ready for. Within some time I knew I had to leave. I had already paid for the half amount so I politely asked to waive the rest of the money since I wanted to check out ASAP. They agreed to waive off the rest half of the amount and tried to understand the problem. They helped me call for a Rickshaw. Grateful for that. Rickshaws charge exorbitantly.
