It was soo magical, the best beach i have ever been at. The sand is soft and black, the sunset is the best here. There are rocks on the side, some beautifully covered with green algae and mosses, where you can sit and watch the sun set. It is a magnificient place.

One of the great places for evening walks. You can witness a beautiful sunset at this point. And South Asia's longest bowstring arch bridge was stunning as the boats kept passing one by one during the sunset.

Best spot for spending time. A nice beach. I used to visit here many times. When the first time I came here, this place was so cool. There was no rush at all. But now itโ€™s fully crowded especially during weekends and holidays. Also during rainy season, the sea will be a bit dangerous in this area.

The confluence of the pristine backwaters and the ocean, a beautiful bridge ๐ŸŒ‰, towering lighthouse, small shacks and eateries, adventure activities. Everything's here. Evenings are just amazing here. Do visit.

Sunset is very beautiful. There are lots of eateries nowadays. Very crowded on holidays. Difficult to park on holidays. The main thing I have noticed that there is no ferocious waves in the sea. Hence the depth is more than in other beaches. So very careful when entering in the water. Speed boat ride available on the lake side. If you have 4 wheel vehicle to reach here first check is there free parking space available or not. If not, then only you can go for paid parking. Because there is large free parking space available near the Valiazheekal bridge as well as on beach side.

Its a beautiful beach, It was an exquisite paradise that left an indelible mark on my soul. As I strolled along the shore, I was immediately captivated by the sheer beauty of the place. The soft, powdery black sand felt like a cushion beneath my feet, inviting me to kick off my shoes and embrace the ultimate sensation of freedom.. best experience๐Ÿ–๏ธ๐Ÿ›Ÿ๐Ÿ๏ธ

The Sunset view is fabulous. The activities which are provided there especially horse ride and kite flying are most attractive for childrens. But the public toilet service is very pathetic

It is an estuary with an artificial bank into the ocean. Good place to spend time with your friends. Sitting on the upper balcony of a juice stall viewing the sunset sipping a juice, chatting with a dear friend, was a different experience. The beach itself is not exotic. But you can steal a memory if you want. We tried fishing also, but needed more experience.

Fully developed and maintained beach for tourists it has some water sports with boating facilities. A lighthouse increases the charm and best part u can go in and use binoculars

The ambiance at Azheekal beach in Kerala, encompassing both shores on either side of the bridge, is marked by tranquility. The local shopkeepers and residents contribute to this pleasant atmosphere with their warm and welcoming demeanor. Overall, a visit to this location provides a truly delightful experience.

It is really sad that rubbish are pillimg up here. That ugly cafe is destroying the aesthetic of the beach, hope local government will monitor these people who do things without conscience.

It is beach... there are rock curves that lessens the waves.. once you finish the bridge...you need to turn right..there are stalls and speed boat services...rating 4 crows out of 5 hawks

Beautiful beach for outing with family. Some times waves are very powerful and high than other nearest beaches. Security is very less. Should be careful if go with litte kids. Some foods getting from there is not good and most of the small shops are not higenic. Horse riding and bunky riding are good for children.

Itโ€™s one of the best beaches in kollam. It is a pretty crowded beach. Lots of people come there to enjoy sunset and during weekends it is crowded the most. There are many shops, small park and restaurants nearby.

The beach amenities has significantly improved compared to my last visit three years ago(2020),Life guards deployed to to avoid the casualties, they give the warning signs prior to the high tide and stay away from the shore to save the life.Altogether a nice place to chill in the evenings,Near by Valiyazheekkal bridge and the lighthouse has influence on increasing the visitors to the beach.

The main attraction here is the bridge connecting two districts: Kollam and Alappuzha. The view from the bridge is so nice and pleasant. Beach is also well maintained and have decent amount of crowds regularly. 'Pay N Park' facilities are also available. Petrol Pumps are rare around here. So better to fill it in advance.

Considered the perl of kollam, the beach is a beautiful site not to miss 12km from kayamkulam and 15km from karunagapally the land scape is nice and calming however i won't suggest going further away from the main beach entrance as it wont be a pleasant site to see

Nice beach not much crowded. Good place to spend time with family specially in evening and can have some snacks together. This year july 2022 sea level have raised and took over the sea shore compare to October 2021. Still looks beautiful enjoyed it

The beach is relatively clean and beautiful. It is crowded during weekends and public holidays. Guards will ask you to leave after its dark. So best time to visit will be either in early morning or during evening time after 4.30 pm and before 7 pm.
