Would have given 4-5 stars but few points blew it away. 1: The pasta ordered was too watery. The taste was ok but the shape and texture was almost like soup rather than pasta. 2. Too hot to sit inside. The AC was switched off. And was almost stuffy inside with almost all tables full. 3. Grilled prawns and rice were good. Recommended.

The food was quick and delicious! They were even happy to serve us outside of regular meal times, which was helpful. We really enjoyed the fish mango curry, even though we wish we had gone for the “spicy” option over the “medium” option. The grandma’s chicken curry was lovely too and had a gorgeous texture.

Love their seafood pot rice, even though some items were too spicy for me (those were precooked so they can’t adjust the chilly level). The mango fish curry is also very good.

Small restaurant with superb local food. Loved the Meen Moilee, prawn mango curry & the squid masalla. Be patient, the wait is worth it as everything is freshly made so takes a bit of time

Unbelievably authentic and smacking food! It takes time for the order to be make which shows how homely and personalized each dish is. It was recommended by a friend and worth every hype. The ambience is cosy, and quaint. Don't come expecting flamboyant seating space. Props on the walls and artwork deserve a special mention. Overall bang for one's buck!

Fusion Nay provides variety of food including seafood which is why I prefer to visit this restaurant. Food is feel like Homemade food and very delicious. Service is too good and quick. They provide special dishes which is must try for seafood lovers. I am big goodie and they let me try more than 3 dishes amd provided small quantity on request. I love the menu and their ideas of providing special foods.

The food was great, fresh and authentic taste. The ambience is really beautiful, really well decorated and maintained. Overall had an amazing experience. Not even the food but the behavior of staff members and the way taking feedback everything was good. Would recommend people visiting Fortkochin must visit Fusionbay.

The kokum fish curry was very good. The banana leaf vegetarian meal was interesting. Everything else was good but not spectacular. We had the beef roast, shrimp curry, fish curry, masala crab. The service was extremely slow, and distracted. The rice finally came after we had finished the meal almost. Bathroom is up a flight of stairs in a different building altogether. Staff was fairly polite.

Ambience is good. Clean handwash area. I ordered king fish fry. Felt a bit costly(3 small pieces for 350) compared to other places i tried. Pepper chicken was average. Tasted like mustard curry with lot of pepper. Tea was good. Staff behaviour ok. Not sure if it was because of the mask, but felt not welcomed(may be i am wrong).

WORST restaurant ever! Absolute rip off. The prices are ridiculously high for the quality and quantity of food provided. I ordered Kerala grilled fish with rice and the fish brought outwas so stale. I rejected the food and walked out. If there was an option, I would give this place 0 stars. Would definitely NOT recommend this restaurant.

Absolutely delicious meal at very affordable rate. The service was prompt and polite. The seafood chattichoru was a generous serve of various fish preparations with some crab. Flavours were incredible and it was a nice moderate spice that enhanced the seafood. The rice was hot and filling. Atmosphere to the place was ok but gave it a rustic feel. Don’t be deceived by the aged entrance, simple menus, or paper placemats (essential when you start cracking into the crab bits), this place is a foodie’s delight.

Been here for lunch. We ordered fish pollichathu and appam, chicken curry and chapathi. The appam was sweetish and the fish dish was a flop. For the fish they charged more than what was in the menu. The chicken dish also was not upto the mark. Regret to have visited this place.

Perfect. The meal I got was delicious! I ordered the shrimp cream sauce penne pasta and I was not at all disappointed- on the contrary, I wanted to order another simply for being so delicious! I also got sparkling lemon soda and paid under $12 Canadian dollars. (700 indian rupees) Highly recommended dish! Place was busy and lots of people enjoying dinner on a Friday night around 9:30. Bravo! Well done. Update: so I came the next day and got “grandmas chicken curry”. It was tasty, rich and was thoroughly enjoyed. I also had the cauliflower starters— those were a no go for me. Flat, bready, and lacked spice. The cauliflower tasted steamed once bitten into, not fried. Everything else was tasty!

I came here alone. Took a lot of time to be noticed and served. The pumpkin soup however was a delight and I was impressed with it! The chicken curry was on the bone, I actually forgot to ask! It tasted lovely but I couldn't manage it so I took a takeaway. There were fans but no AC and it was hot.The prices are very reasonable for this restaurant. It was a little noisy and not much of a relaxing ambience. I would recommend however.

We went to this mid range dining restaurant on 23 Nov 2023 for lunch. We had reached by 1435 hrs and there was waiting period of about 20 min. Restaurant is located on ground floor and separate parking is not available. Ambience wise place is ok with simple vintage decor (8/10). It has adequate seating and can accommodate 30 people, and does appear slightly congested (7/10). Restaurant Staff is courteous, polite and well behaved, and was very helpful and cooperative despite some language barrier (9/10). Menu includes multiple cuisines which consists of both traditional kerala cuisines and portugese fusion cuisines (9/10). Service was prompt and My orders arrived hot and in reasonable amount of time. (9/10). We tried paneer pollichatu, fish mango curry, appam and lassi which were prepared well and were mouth watering tasty. (9/10). Quantity wise they were filling for two - three persons.(8/10). washroom is located on first floor separately in a domestic style but is well maintained, clean and hygienic. All payment options were available. Overall a very good experience (8/10). Would love to visit again.

Fusion Bay Multi Cuisine in Fort Kochi presents a tantalizing culinary fusion, but the overall dining experience could benefit from enhanced customer service. While the menu boasts a diverse array of dishes, the hurried atmosphere and inattentive staff detracted from the experience. The restaurant's location in a popular tourist destination presents a great opportunity to showcase Indian cuisine, but prioritizing customer satisfaction and ensuring consistent food quality would elevate Fusion Bay Multi Cuisine to a higher level.

Fusion Bay in Kochi Fort offers an exquisite taste of local cuisine with standout dishes like: Sardine and makaral Cauliflower fritter Fish and prawn moilee with appam Banana fried with ice cream The service is attentive, enhancing the dining experience. A great decoration that mixs a fishing culture with the Indian local culture. Green patio and fresh environment. Must try the moilee. Delicious

yum, yum yummy so well done, and the taste was exquisite. only minus was the fact that we waited for our food more than 45mins, and the waiter didn't want to acknowledge me as a woman paying for the meal, bit weird, but I got the same treatment from other restaurants in Kerala, so maybe it's a thing there. The food was great though, compliments to the chef

The food is good but staffs could be more attentive to the customers especially as it is not a very big restaurant .Quanity wise also, they could give more for the rates charged..We ordered an item from the menu but we were charged higher on the bill as they had used a different fish they said..Could have informed us earlier as it would have made our experience a whole lot better..

A good seafood restaurant that we came across while looking through options for having a fish curry. We are happy to have come across this one! The staff is friendly & accommodative: Certain dishes which otherwise were very spicy were toned down to suit our taste. The prawns starters were beyond words, especially its marination! If you are looking to have an authentic fish curry with rice or puttu (an amazing side dish which I tried here), you must give this restaurant a go!

  • 4/5 Rahul R. 1 year ago on Google
The food was great and authentic, especially as a person not from Kerala. Beef and fish were adipoli, and the squid fry was super delicious! Never had such a subtle-tasting, yet mind-blowing squid anywhere. A bit towards the costly side but still feels worthy of the cost.

  • 3/5 Himanshi W. 1 year ago on Google
The cafe is quite pretty and location is good as well. But the dishes were pretty expensive and quantity was less. The prawns fry costed us 500 rs and only 6 pierces were served. No complaint on taste thought, they tasted good

We hopped in to the restaurant by around 9:45 PM and we ordered Chicken barbecue rice Combo and chicken mushroom pasta. The rice was a bit dried out with foul smell but the barbecue was well cooked and about the pasta it tastes good but the quality of penne wasn’t that great. The Ambience is good with chill classic songs.

Good option of local dishes, I tried the fried fish to have a break from the curries and it was delicious! They Marinated it in mild spices and fried with curry leaves., it came with some onion pickle. Also, the salad was plain but tasty, it felt safe to salad at this place. Reasonably priced, it all came to 700 rupees including drink.

Great place if you like authentic south indian food with a slight western touch. Loved the fish soup here, it was creamy and well cooked. Had it twice. Also the Prawns in green sauce was tasty, different. And Prawns Moilee with appam, it was the best dinner I had in Kerala in my last visit.. and i have been to many places here..

I went to try out their seafood chattichoru. It is a more budget friendly alternative to many of the nearby restaurants which offer Seafood platter for approx 1500+ The seafood chatti choru consisted of 7 seafood varieties - fish curry, mathi (sardine) fish fry, natholi (anchovy)fish fry, crab curry, squid fry, mussels fry, meen peera. The quantity is sufficient for 1 person. I also ordered a pot of lemon tea, which they said was sufficient for 2 people. However after 3 cups of tea, the pot was only half empty (or half full, whichever way you prefer to see it 😄). The service was also prompt and staff were friendly. The ambience with the wall decorations and lighting was great too. During my visit Boney M songs were playing in the background which added to the laid-back seaside restaurant vibe.

Had my first pollichathu fish here of the coriander variety, a less spicy version which turned out to be quite delectable. I would suggest adding a vegetable along with this dish, otherwise you are left a little hungry and with a little more oil in your palate.

This place is a 10/10. My favorite meal I’ve had in India so far on my travels. The food comes out timely and is delicious/packed with flavor! Our waiter Rahul was so kind and helpful with suggestions based on our preferences. We got Kerala Prawns and spicy squid to start. Prawns were light and yummy. The squid was out of this world, had a little kick, but my friend who doesn’t like spicy also enjoyed. Have never tasted any flavors quite like it, would recommend! Main course we both got banana leaf wrapped fish, mine was a spicy red sauce, my friends was the green pepper sauce. This paired perfect with the lemon rice. Would definitely recommend getting this dish. It’s unique, juicy, flavorful, and goes well with rice and bread.

Food Choice 9/10 Taste 9/10 Price 7/10 Service 8/10 The food is good and have a great choice of local food. The only thing that they don't serve is Parotha. Since the food is prepared fresh, it takes 15 to 20 mins on an avg for them to bring your order. Also pl check the instructions because sometimes their international card machines are down. Price is on a higher side frankly but they served good quality

We super loved this restaurant, best meal of our trip so far, made very clear why Kerala is famous for seafood. Grandma fish pollichathu (red snapper) was so so delicious, squid fry was some of the best squid I've ever had, Kerala fry prawns had me trying to figure out what was in the masala so I could make it back in England. Service, drinks, atmosphere, and location were all also excellent.
