Chootad Beach is one of the popular beach in Kannur District of Kerala. It is located in Chootad , Puthiyangadi. It's approximately 5 km from Pazhayangadi . Park is well maintained, neat and clean, also has facilities like boating in nearby river.Better visit the park in the evening time .It is the best time to enjoy. There are so many rides for children ( with fee). Lots of small shops are available here. Entry fee per person is 25 Rs. Parking area is present on the right side of the entry area charging 20 Rs . One of the best place for wedding shootings ..Extra charges to be paid for video cameras.

Good parking facility available.(pay and park) I don't know how to rate a beach. Lol Talking about food stalls and fun stuffs for kids, there are plenty. Rides and entertainment for kids are pretty good here. There's an entry fee around 30rs. Overall, quite good weekend getaway, especially for family with kids. Have fun 👍.

A well maintained beach for people near Taliparamba to get away on a weekend. Small entry fee and parking fee. But the maintanence is pretty good for the amount charged. Parking space is pretty ample. Small snack vendors are also present in the park near to the beach.

Parking facility is available till closing time which is 8 PM. An evening spend here is definitely worthy. Chootad beach, which is close from both Payyanur and Pazhayangadi alike is one of the better beaches in the area. It has juice shops and a good enough restaurant for tourists. Besides the beach, there is a backwater/lake offering boating and kayaking experiences. One good thing about Chootad beach is that you can visit here throughout the day as the casuarina trees offer shade and comfort even during summer days. On normal weekend evenings, the beach tend to be crowded.

Best place to be in with your kids. Plan your trip such a way that you reach here by 4 pm, so that all rides and shops will be active. A morning trip may give a bad impression because of the hot sun and less crowded park. Morning time is not definitely for family.

We can enter the beach via different ways to avoid such useless fees. Still who like the park and the rides inside especially for kids can be use this facility. Parking charge of 20 for car can be avoided by park the car near road side for free. Pedal boating 60per head Spead boat 100 per head Slightly recomended.. NB: Just for sit and relax in a beach this costly beach is not a good option, who can't bypass the main entry.

A decent beach located in Payyanur district. It's around 18 kms from Payyanur town. Ample amount of parking space available for 2 wheelers but no parking space for four wheeler near the beach entrance. The beach is clean and there is a small childrens park developed by KTDC. There is a entrance fee of 20₹ for adults. During weekends there is huge rush so try visiting during weekdays. Sunset view is commendable from this place.

Always my go-to place. I could come here every day if i want to, literally I could, it's only 5 mins away. Jokes apart, the beach is such a blessing. Less trash for now, but ppl will lay waste to it soon enough. Not entirely ideal for swims, the water is usually muddy. But can't beat the view.
