Amazing interior.....it was my first visit on my way to Kannur with my family.. peak lunch time on a Sunday, five of us dropped in at Island restaurant, Pilathara . Though it was past 2pm, the restaurant was brimming with guests - many waiting for their turn at the tables. We were lucky to find a table for five and from there on, it was a trip to food heaven! We ordered neichoru, fish with mango curry, prawn roast, mutton biriyani, Peri Peri Alfam Chicken are exceptionally good. and each item was to die for. All the meat and seafood was fresh. How the restaurant manages to retain the right taste, especially with consistency given the volumes that have to cater for, is amazing. The service was top class and very proactive. Island Restaurant is a restaurant that I can go to, again and again. The food does not fail, ever. The taste is worth the effort

Great fooding experience. Try out the days special or chef's choice from the menu. Definitely they will not disappoint you. Peaceful atmosphere, great location with sufficient parking facility. Very cooperative staff.

I'm very honest about my reviews in here and I won't recommend this hotel at all. The food was not worth the money. We ordered tava fish fry and it was very bad felt like stale fish. After that we ordered milk shakes, falooda and fruits salad but the shakes were not cold, see I'm a food geek so I've tasted different types of shakes from different hotels, this was one of the worst shakes I've ever tasted. If you are ever going here you can order porotta and chicken chilli, those were good and porotta was fresh and hot 🤝🏻
