PROBABLY THE BEST BURGER I HAVE EVER HAD IN NYC! I want to start off by saying the staff was so wonderful. They were very attentive and friendly. Greeted us with a smile and ready to help with any questions we had. The burger and fries were so delicious. I believe this is the best burger I have ever had in NYC. It was so tasty, juicy, and fresh! My sister had the Spicy Chicken Sandwich and Tater Tots and they were both soooo good! I'm so upset I'm just now discovering this place! But I will be back every time I'm in the city!

The place is really small but cozy. We wanted to eat at a table but the only thing available was at a bar they have overlooking the street. When there was a table available I asked one of the managers if I could change and she said no, that the person at that table was in the bathroom and it turns out that he had already left and the table was taken by some people who were just entering. We had to eat a little uncomfortable. The hostess gave all the best attention to a family that was at the table taking pictures of the food (maybe influencers), the meat is not sasonan with almost anything, the flavor is given by the other ingredients. And I found it expensive. I particularly won't be back.

Tried the OG (cheeseburger) and regular fries. Very mediocre burger, nothing special, can’t feel the meat, very thin and crispy, to the extent that you just feel the sauces but you don’t feel the meat. The fries tho were horrible, sorry. Sticking together to a single mass and very greasy, we basically did not eat it after first try. The service was kind and welcoming, but I wouldn’t return for the food. All the best.

Just a really great spot to grab a yummie, juicey burger. Service is nice and well also the fries are great. The bun is perfectly soft, the burger has a juicey and nice meaty taste.

This is a small place with a few tables. I imagine they do a lot of take out. You order on tablets just inside the door. A server helped me. The service was amazing. The food menu is great - all about burgers and potatoes. Combo creations or start with 1 or 2 patties and add whatever ingredients you want. The hamburger meat is very tasty and pretty thin so if you're used to a thick burger you probably should order the double patty . The brioche buns are soft and delicious. The French Fries were nice and crisp. I don't drink beer so can't comment on that - I had Diet Coke. I would definitely recommend this place for burgers.

Delicious burgers at a reasonable price! Came to the city for the day and decided to get some burgers. I got the OG and my brother got the Burger of the Month. The Burger of the Month was definitely worth the price. But if you order The OG and want to add something like pickles you’re better off ordering a make your own burger. For an additional $1, you only get 3 thin slices of pickles. The burger patties themselves are thin and crispy but don’t feel burned and still have a lot of good flavor. They put a perfect amount of sauce on the buns too and a decent portion of cheese. The service was also great. The hostess/waitress was extremely friendly and even brought us extra fries that we didn’t order. Will definitely return when in the city again.

Such an incredible smash burger, definitely the best I’ve had in NYC. They also have a nice selection of craft beers which pairs really well with the burgers. My husband got the burger of the month which was thanksgiving themed and it looked divine! I stuck to the regular OG burger and was not disappointed. I like how the patties are thin and crispy on the edges. We shared french fries and if you like garlic, you MUST get the garlic aioli! So so good. I always respect when a burger place offers a variety of sauces, and this place definitely has a good selection. Overall, my ONLY complaint is the metal chairs scraping on the concrete floor is a major headache inducer, so I wish those would just not exist; anywhere! This place is awesome and if you’re looking for beer and delicious burgers, this is your spot!

A Stellar Burger Experience at Handcraft Burger On my quest for a great burger in the heart of the city, I turned to Google Maps and, intrigued by its impressive 4.7-star rating and nearly 1,000 reviews, decided to try Handcraft Burger in Bryant Park. This was my first visit, and it certainly won't be my last! From the moment I walked in, the experience was top-notch. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and even assisted me in navigating the ordering process on the display at the entrance – a small but appreciated touch. The service was swift, but it was the burger that truly stole the show. Each bite was a revelation – the burger was outstandingly juicy and flavorful, surpassing all my expectations. It wasn't just good; it was one of the top 5 burgers I've ever had! Handcraft Burger isn’t just about great food; the ambiance of the place adds to the overall delightful experience. It’s a gem that I wholeheartedly recommend to everyone, whether you’re a local or just passing through. In summary, Handcraft Burger has earned a new fan in me, and I can see why it's rated so highly. Do yourself a favor and give it a try – your taste buds will thank you!

Decent place for a quick bite. Based on the reviews I had higher expectation for the burger. It was OK, but nothing to write home about. I think it could benefit from higher temp on the grill, to caramelise more/faster and stay more juice on the inside. Rest of the burger were pleasant, but again, nothing outstanding. I took their 6.6. I would recommend to try something more simple, perhaps it delivers better taste and value for money. I liked their service. Self order, but lady explained how it works and gave quick recommendation. Followed up if everything was good.

My wife and I visited Handcraft Burgers and Brews for my birthday this past weekend. As soon as my wife opened the menu she knew that I was going to have to try the burger of the month which was a peanut butter and grape jelly topped hamburger with jalapenos, bacon and cheese. Admittedly I have never had peanut butter and jelly on a burger before but I figured I would try something new and see what all of the hype was about. Turns out, I loved it! Every bite was so flavorful and completely made my birthday lunch a worthwhile venture! We also tried the tater tots, because who doesn't love a good tater tot. We could have chosen from multiple dipping sauces but we decided to go with the garlic aioli and I am glad we did. I dipped each of my tater tots in the sauce and there was plenty for both of us to share. We were helped by Vanessa at the restaurant and she was very accommodating when I was having trouble using a coupon that I had for my birthday. All in all this was a wonderful choice for my birthday lunch and when we are in the area again I would definitely stop by and perhaps try the latest burger of the month along with some tater tots and garlic aioli dipping sauce of course!
