As a first time mom I was super nervous about sending our daughter to daycare especially during a pandemic. But 7 months later we are so happy we chose Lightbridge of Mountain Lakes! The center is very clean and safe all of the teachers and staff are very caring and friendly. Anytime I have first time mom questions the teachers always take their time explaining things and they really help young ones develop their skill sets and provide structure through daily activities. Its really great how much my now one year old has learned and got to do so far! We get daily reports and pictures and the parent camera app is a plus to help put any nervous parents at ease!

We have two boys attending the school (ages 2 and 4) and we love it here! The teachers, staff and owner are all wonderful people. Most importantly, our boys have wonderful experiences at the school with a lot to share about their day. My kids' personalities thrive there and I am super thankful for that. The facilities are always clean and they take adequate precautionary measures for these times. There is fingerprint security at the front so not anyone can just walk it, so I feel like my kids are safe there. Plus you can opt to have cameras (extra cost) and they have an app with information about the kids’ days. We were interested in Lightbridge Academy because our eldest attended the Whippany school which we only left because we thought the commute back to our residence in Denville after having our second child would be too much to handle. We tried Bright Horizons in Rockaway and the Learning Experience in Parsippany and never met up to the Lightbridge Academy experience we had. When I found out that one was opening in Mountain Lakes and I immediately inquired. Our kids started in March 2020, right before the pandemic. During the whole process, the owner of the school was in touch with the parents, going out of her way just to make sure everyone was good. The owner is a mother herself and treats parents the way she would want to be treated, and that shines throughout the school. We are happy to be part of the Lightbridge Mountain Lakes family.

We had an awful experience here. Classrooms are tiny. Some staff are great but they are understaffed and most of the staff have no background in education. Staff comes and goes constantly. The director is an unpleasant person. And she made unreasonable demands on us then eventually told us to get a 1 to 1 aide for my son or he'd have to leave. My pediatrician wouldn't advocate for the aide because she saw no medical issues that would warrant such a request. Just a very unpleasant experience.

I can’t speak highly enough about our experience with Lightbridge Academy’s Mountain Lakes, NJ location. The teachers and management are caring, knowledgeable, and responsive. The summer program is fantastic - the kids have a variety of activities between indoor/outdoor play, trips, and fun vendors that come to visit the kids. Everyone is so friendly and patient, the location is very clean, and I always knew what my child was up to, with updates regularly. It really put my mind at ease knowing he was in great hands and having fun. We love it here!!

Both of my daughters have been going to Lightbridge Academy in Mountain Lakes over the past few years and I can't say enough wonderful things about the teachers and the facility. All of the teachers have been incredible and caring with both of my girls and I appreciate all they do so much. I know it isn't easy being with young children all day, but you would never be able to tell by the professionalism and love that I have experienced at each drop off a pick up every day. By the age of 1, my daughter knew her ABC's, colors, shapes and more. It is a great place to send your children. I know they are in great hands there each day.

After 8 months we are still very pleased to be sending our daughter to Lightbridge Academy in Mountain Lakes. The staff members are always going above and beyond in caring for our daughter and they are very attentive to our questions, requests, and needs. The teachers here will begin to feel like family as they develop a bond with your child or children, and it’s great to have the peace of mind that your child is in great hands. Our 3 year old is having so much fun making friends AND learning things like writing the letters of the alphabet, etc.. I can’t imagine trying to tame a class full of 3 year olds, but somehow they make it look easy! We really can’t recommend this place enough!!

I cannot say enough great things about this place. From the day my child started, every single person has been so warm and welcoming. Each person goes above and beyond to make every day special for my child. The teachers have great activities planned for the children each day to make it fun and exciting - and as parents we get fun projects to keep forever :) It's always so hard leaving your child - no matter where you go - but Lightbridge truly makes leaving each day just a little easier knowing that my child is safe and loved by everyone there.

Our daughter has been going to Lightbridge since she was 9 months old! As first time parents and educators, it was super important for us to find a school that felt welcoming, clean, and most importantly, have caring teachers. We found just that here. From the infant room to the Orange Giraffes , our daughter always looked forward to coming to school! The teachers always communicated and the admins were always responsive with any questions or concerns. It is evident that her time in the classroom is well spent and productive!

We are first time parents so it was hard to send our 18 month old daughter to daycare especially during this pandemic. But we are beyond happy with our choice. It took her a few weeks to transition (since she’s only been home with family) but the teachers were very helpful and made her feel comfortable. The teachers are amazing- very responsive and caring. We feel safe having our daughter there all day. We like that we have the option to look at the cameras if we want to see how she’s doing. I definitely recommend Lightbridge in Mountain Lakes!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Lightbridge in Mountain Lakes! The staff is beyond superb, they are so incredibly caring, thoughtful, observant and genuinely interested in nurturing your child! I can’t believe how much my daughter blossomed this summer, she went from a little one barely potty trained to a full kid completely potty trained, dying to go to camp everyday this summer!
