I absolutely love this place. Would highly recommend. The pizza is delicious, no to mention the gelato. The aesthetics and vibes of the whole place are amazing 10/10 .

Great little pizza joint. It's unique with a laid-back unpretentious vibe. Seems disorganized and even unkempt at times but I think this just adds to the atmosphere of the place. Good old school pizza which can be refreshing amidst the plethora of super hip pizza shops around town. I also love that they serve slices which are enormous. Overall, love the vibe, decent pizza and gelato in a great location!

Great place for either a slice or whole pizza pie. Try their bread stick starter perfect for two people. They make great tasting Fat's pizza with a tasty topping to crust ratio. Remember to save room for their chocolate gelato.

Curt service... excellent pizza! No complaints here. Salad was great too... but that pizza!!! And next day, cold... still scrumptious. I'm ordering a whole one to go next time.

Been here twice. 50/50 shot on the pizza crust be under cooked. The take out ended up being take n bake. I put the entire pizza in my oven at 425 min for 6 minutes and still couldn't get the crust to firm up. 50 bucks for a take n bake. Not coming back.

Delicious food! Took my three tween/teen kids and all of us shared an extra large cheese pizza and one order of spaghetti with marinara. And I had a side salad. The kids all had some spaghetti and 2 slices of pizza. (We had to order an extra half serving of spaghetti because one daughter likes the noodles plain. The original spaghetti order was very saucy.) The pizza slices were huge! I could only eat one with my salad. Took the peppers, onions and fresh mushrooms off my salad since they're not my thing, and then it was just right. Ranch dressing was super thick and very tasty. Kids loved the pizza. Server was very good at taking care of everybody, although we did have to ask for a refill on water when he didn't notice we were out.

Stopped here after a friend recommend we try this place. I was so glad she did. The customer service was some of the best I've experienced in a long time. They were so friendly and let my two children sample some of the gelati while we waited for our pizza. They I noticed they just finished cooking a large pan of meatballs. I commented on how delicious they looked. They guy put two in a container, added a little marinara and gave it to me to try. Incredible! Who does that. Our food was so good. The pizza was just the right thickness for my liking. I would definitely say to stop in and give it a try. The prices are a little steep, but it's worth it for the great food and service.

Ok ...now I know why Lorenzo is Fat! I have not stopped by this place since I rode my FZR1000 around the lake! I remembered they had good pizza...but when you are 20....is there such a thing as BAD pizza? Fast forward 30 years and I'm in the neighborhood over lunch....I'll stop by. Just a small little place but I could see them picking up that building and moving it anywhere and it would do well. It was hot today and there were a number of tables outside you can sit at if you like. A small dining room inside as well...but I bet you it's busy during peak hours. Small BUSY kitchen! Home made cookies baking....a guy in the back making dough from scratch....a gelato (home made) case just as you walk in...yeah...the makings of a great neighborhood place. The gentleman at the register was super friendly and it did take a few moments to get my food....but both made the wait well worth it....plus the smells of a good pizza kitchen alone is worth it.... I did NOT get the pizza but holy cow did it look AMAZING! My hogie was great! Fresh bread...toasted....with plenty of filling and no need for chips! Coleslaw....yes....chips....no need for any stinking chips! Prices seemed very reasonable!!!! I'll need to stop by again some day for a slice ...I have a feeling I won't be disappointed!

Freshly made pizzas where you can see the food made in front of you with the cook, kitchen and oven! Surprisingly well ventilated place in spite of open layout. It is worth the wait for your order! Large size is the best value deal. I will skip ordering slices next time, as whole pizza tasted much more better 👍

My favorite pizza place in Minneapolis! Food is great, customer service is well, just wish they had a nicer space, but food quality is great!

We had the Carne Pazza(meat lover's), Garlic cheese bread, and a scoop of mint chocolate ice cream. The cheese bread was good but could've been a little crispier. The pizza was excellent, great flavor, perfect ratio of toppings, very good crust. The ice cream was very good as well. Our server was fast, friendly, and enthusiastic. Definitely a top pizza place in the twin cities. The building itself looks rough on the outside, but it was very clean and welcoming on the inside.

Went in person, at night to get pizza, the gentleman who rang me up was very nice and gave five out of five service. The location is good, close to the lake and on a few blocks from the airport and Mall of America. I'll be back! The prices are not the lowest but the quality is above fast food quality as well. The building is Beautiful ! I cannot believe that I haven't ever been here or heard of this place before! It's one of my favorite types of food and I had a super good experience. I feel like if I had known about it years ago I would have taken a lot of dates here because the booths have a very romantic vibe, private and small like a candle light diner for two, And the artwork is one of a kind! The walls and the ceiling has murals, even the entryway and waiting area chairs are uniquely painted; ten out of ten for atmosphere! I see that they have dine-in. Pick-up and online ordering services, but as my custom pizza order didn't take over ten minutes to receive I will for sure be stopping inside again. Also ten out of ten for location, i just don't know how I missed it for so many years?

Stopped in there 15 minutes before it closed to get some pizza and the staff, even though they were cleaning up, was very kind and friendly and made us a delicious pizza pie The large is large. Crust was good. I would definitely go back and nice selection of beverages.

This review is specifically for pizza by the slice takeout. Good food. Ridiculous wait. Everyone's order goes through their ticketing system to go into the oven. EVERYONE's. I wanted something quick so I ordered two slices. The cashier told me the pizza was made an hour ago. Fine, whatever. They're pre-cooked. I figured it wouldn't take long to warm it up a bit. Boy was I wrong. I waited another half an hour just for them to warm it up. I might come again to dine-in because despite being an hour and a half old, the pizza and toppings were still pretty good. Massive portions for the price. But I'm never getting takeout here again. I'm not saying their system isn't fair, but I do wish they told me it would take that long, before I placed the order.

Was checking out an art crawl with a friend and my dad, and just happened to pass by it and decided to go in on a random whim to see what it was about. And was NOT disappointed!!! Smelled great upon entering, inside looked fun, and ordered a slice of Fats combo, Alfrenzo, pepperoni, sausage, breadstick, and fats salad. The slices were HUGE, tasted AMAZING, the salad was gorgeous and tasty. Service was great despite how busy it was Will DEFINITELY be making a return visit

First off, best pizza in town. I know there's a lot of love right now going to a certain sports-ball-shaped pizza, and that place is great, but this is on a different level. The crust is close to perfect and the sauce has a freshness to the flavor that screams this pie was made especially for you. I also highly recommend dining in. There is usually a wait (it's a small place with loyal customers, of course there's a wait, relax), but the staff are always great and the atmosphere is very cozy. Additional bonus for kids and anyone who likes to draw, you will be provided crayons to doodle on the butcher paper covered tables.

Best little restaurant I've been to in a long time. Excellent service and food, cozy atmosphere. Thanks for a great meal.
