Today on Kevin's Diner We have been camping this week at Brown County State park. After a brisk 4 mile walk this morning we rode motorcycle to Edinburgh Premium Outlet mall. Shannon is shopping so I went to get some gas for the motorcycle and lunch. Waffle House Edinburgh In. Nothing says America more than Waffle House! My cousin Steve Sparks introduced me to the Waffle House chain many years ago. Today I went with the Texas Bacon Cheesesteak Melt Plate. What a treat it was! The cheesesteak bacon sandwich on Texas toast with sautéed onions was a mouthwatering delight. Nothing short of a religious experience with every tasty bite. Hash-browns on the side, scattered, smothered (sautéed onions) covered (slice of cheese) capped (mushrooms) topped (Berts chilli). If you want real Hash-browns Waffle House is the best place in the world for them. Top it all off with a Arni Palmer to drink and that makes me a happy camper. The service was top notch and the staff was friendly. Nothing like hanging out at Waffle House while earning huge husband of the year points! 5 stars for Waffle House Until next time Bon appetit

You don't know what you have until it's gone. As I drive in a huge counter-clockwise circle around the USA that will last two months, this is my last Waffle House. The next one won't be until I get to Arizona. So it's breakfast this morning and I'm going to savor it. Waffle with pecans. Eggs over medium. Hash browns covered and chunked. Eggs and hash browns were perfect. Prepared quickly and ready almost instantly. The crew here is on point. The waffle was less than perfect. A little underdone and not the full round shape. A bummer as it's not photogenic but hey, that's how it goes sometimes. Enjoy your breakfast 24 hours a day. It's the Waffle House!

I was nearby this Waffle House so I stopped in for a classic waffle. Everything was so neat and clean ... nothing I touched was sticky!! That makes me very happy. My waffle was ready so quickly that I didn't even have time to work on my puzzle book that I brought. The staff was very pleasant and quite efficient!! This was a WIN all the way around!

Super friendly folks, food was cooked perfectly and came out fast and warm, hands down best Waffle House around!

My score is lower then normal because the main reason I came to waffle house was the waffles. And they are now more like pancakes. What happened to my waffles?? Ugh. You guys always have the best grits though so I'll be back again. Staff is pretty cool and the place is usually clean.

I don't give out 5 stats often What did it here was the cook let the food get hot, beyond warm, on the grill before plating it. Only a few seconds difference but a few degrees makes it better.

This is the kind of Waffle House I love, slightly dated and the walls are tinted with the grease from the grease from the grill. The staff was busy but they kept everything moving. There is something special that most places in America are missing when you watch someone short order cook your food infront of you and it is not hibachi. It is amazing how many people you can fit in a little building like that. I love that parking is ample at this location plenty of room for cars as wells as a few big rigs. Never change Waffle House. Great food, great staff. I am rarely disappointed at a Waffle House. This was no exception! Will definitely return when I'm next in the area! 💗
