Being sick on the weekend is the worst, but My first experience at American family care in Dothan was exceptional. The lobby and office was impeccably clean, tidy. The front desk was very informative about the forms, payment, and wait time. The clinical staff was reassuring and helpful. The nurse practitioner was thorough, and I felt that all my needs were addressed. Very impressed with the AFC team; job well done.

They were very understanding. Everyone was amazing. P.S. the blood tech knows her business. I didn't feel a thing and no blown veins. All in all, (Excellent Staff )with a heart! Recommend highly to anyone looking for a great clinic!

American Family Care is always professional and friendly. Their check in process is simple and I Ike that they send a link to your phone if you have one. It makes checking in simple. I also like that they have a link to tell you where you are in line and an approximate time you will be seen. I was seen much earlier than the estimated time. The staff was attentive and did not just rush you in and out. Mrs. Jones the PA that I saw was great!

The whole care team in the patient care area was fantastic! They were caring and kind to my son and they were attentive to my concerns. I was well pleased. We were seen by Ms. Ingram and two very compassionate nursing staff.

My visit to American Family Care - Dothan was probably the best urgent care experience that I have ever encountered. I didn't feel good, I was in pain and 100 miles from my family physician. My husband insisted that I go to an urgent care facility. From my initial phone call for hours and location, I was pleasantly surprised with every aspect of my visit. The registration was quick and simple(completed on my phone). The wait was minimal and I could even check my patient status on my phone. Every individual that I encountered was professional yet friendly, and completely attuned to my needs. My situation was assessed, treated, cleaned, bandaged, lab work taken and prescriptions called in. NP E.Ingram and Tech T. Stevens went above and beyond, called another physician office and secured a referral appointment for less than 48 hours. I can't give enough stars!!

I had a great experience! I was in and out very quick especially being i was a new patient! All the staff i came in contact with was very sweet and knowledgeable and got the job done quick while also being thorough!

I was very happy as to how I was treated at AFC , thanks to their staff and doctor I was seen and diagnosed with in a short time . Everyone was also very friendly , thank you !

The staff was much more friendly than my previous visit years ago. The doctor was very nice and helpful. They were very prompt and courteous.

My husband and I have been sick through the weekend and went to American Family Care on Monday. We were treated with the Kindest treatment from the time we walked in till we left. We got back very quickly once I finished registering. They listened to what was going on and treatment followed. Very pleased and will be going back next time I need a walk in clinic.

Online registration was convenient and it was helpful to be able to select an appointment time. Still had to wait about a hour but that is to be expected with how busy they are this time of year. Nurse practitioner was very courteous and thorough. Prescription was ready when I got to the pharmacy.

Dr. Emily and Nurse Trudy are the best. My wife and I went to AFC after fighting a respiratory infection for a few weeks and finally had enough. Dr. Emily stated that we both needed a steroid shot and antibiotic shot to kick this sickness. My wife was very nervous since she hates needles and worst of all the shots had to be administered in the hips. Nurse Trudy said she was the best shot giver and I went first just to prove to my wife that it wasn’t as bad as she thought it would be. Finally my wife mustered up the courage and Nurse Trudy gave her the shots and she had no pain what so ever. Thanks Nurse Trudy you did a great job.

Unfortunately I had a terrible experience. I booked at 9:45 apt around 5 am and was told to arrive 10 min early . I arrived 15 min early at 9:30 and had already filled out most of my paperwork online as I was a new patient. My app said I was number one in line yet I kept not getting called . I tried to be patient as they were very busy but I went to the desk once I had been there nearing 2!!!!!! Hours I was told that things got mixed up and things out of order checking in. Long story short is was VERY slow every step Of the way and I walked out of there at noon - only by complaining multiple times. I will not return a 2.5 hour urgent care visit when i was just looking to be be swapped for stress and flu seems completely insane amount of time. To Add to the matter I was told the blue cross blue shield Flu tests have a chance of being false positives so Overall it was just a mess! I will not return
