As a Japanese, I can strongly recommend this place! It’s the best ever in WA for me, good price, good atmosphere, taste amazing!! Everything was quite like Japanese real ones.

Somewhere between a 2 and 3 honestly. Read the reviews before coming and didn't know what to expect and that's what I got. It's an OK sushi place. Average sushi prices but there are better quality sushi place if you price compare. Parking is potentially a challenge but not a show stopper. The venue itself is a great little place. Rustic and a part of downtown Everett history. Props there. No soap in the bathroom so that's a health issue right out of the gate considering we arrived right when it opened. Decent liquor selection. The Old Fashioned was just ok and I ordered it with Basil Hayden. Should have just ordered it neat. No cocktail ice cubes either at opening was strike two. Bar basic prep fail. The sushi wasn't anything extraordinary. Ordered Tempura Platter....batter had ZERO flavor and the sauce may as well have been tainted water... no flavor there either. Calamari was similar. Also ordered a few rolls. The pieces are cut smaller to appear as if you're getting more but it's an average size roll. The place was packed, yes, and service was spotty. Lots of staff behind the counter but not a lot on the floor which I didn't understand as busy as it was. We were a party of 7 and ordered a lot of food for a birthday celebration but were asked to leave to turn the tables even though we still had drinks and were talking. Even with reservations waiting, there were other tables that could have been merged just as well. Most likely won't be back which I know won't break the bank but there must be something that draws locals there. Maybe it's limited sushi options in the area, not sure, but it might just be convenience. Food looks great in the pics but again... average.

Ordered 4 rolls from the Specialty Selection: Godzilla Roll, Phoenix Rising, Super Rainbow Roll, and the Sunrise Roll. They were all very good. Each rolls had their own flavor to it. The quality of fish was good. Also ordered the Calamari and Chicken Karaage as appetizers. Calamari was overcooked so a bit chewy but the Karaage was tender and dipping sauce compliment it well. Will have to come back and try their Omakase.

I was looking for a new sushi spot in Everett and found this quaint gem. My Unagi roll was delicious and beautifully presented. The house Sake is great too. I’m looking forward to my next visit.

It's okay. If no street parking is available out front parking can be a little tricky. California roll and edamame were okay. Steak skewers were very chewy...I did not care for them. I may try again and update my review. Looked like they had a variety of rolls but I was in a hurry. Lots of seating and good atmosphere. Friendly staff.

Looking over the reviews apparently there's something off about today...my boyfriend and I were not really welcomed from the JUMP. And I don't recommend for a work lunch. We were placed at the wobbly table right behind the entrance and ignored for 15-20 minutes. Meanwhile we watched the (who we thought was just a seater, sorry I don't know the professional term). Greeter seat 4 tables, take a walk in order and avoid all eye contact. We made our choices within 5 minutes. Another person took our order after helping two people that came in after we did but sat in the back. We waited 20 more minutes for our food. While we watched the person that ignored us take down someone else's order. One of our rolls had crunchy uncooked rice (with an outer tempura batter), another had crab that did not have the texture of crab. Out of the four rolls one was okay. Potentially they had sat at waiting to be brought to our table. We also had to wait for our check back. In total we spent over an hour and not because we wanted to. This is the second subpar time we have been here. Definitely our last. There's better authentic sushi places to go to.

My wife and I have been eating here for years, it’s the best sushi spot in Everett and they have a great selection of rolls (our favorite is the fair maiden) As stated, we’ve been coming to eat here for years and I’ve never really thought about leaving a review, but last night was such a brilliant experience that I feel compelled to leave a review. When we arrived my toddler son (2yo) just was not interested in sitting in his high chair at all, there was a bit of back and forth trying to reason with him but he just was not having it. Our wonderful waitress Sophie noticed this and offered to bring us some rice for him to try and distract him with food. She came back with a full bowl of rice, as well as a second bowl with some mixed fruits! He loved all of it and happily sat down. Later on when our sushi rolls came out my son noticed the one with salmon on top and really wanted some, he kept asking for “fish, fish.” Unfortunately he’s too young to eat sushi yet so I asked the waitress if there was any way she could bring us some cooked salmon (of course we would pay for that though), again she followed through just wonderfully. She brought him half a salmon fillet on a plate and he loved every bite of it. The night started with us dealing with a grumpy toddler and ended with everyone being very full and satisfied thanks to a great waitstaff and chefs that were more than willing to accommodate us.

Talk about fresh! One of the best sushi spot I have tried. Yes it gets busy, but service was great. We got our food at a timely matter. I just wish we got ice or colder water. I like that our sushi was actually bite size. It was the perfect amount of rice, fish, and more. Unlike other sushi spots, they make rice their filler, and put little amount of fish. Another thing is, I wish the parking was better. Other than that, the sushi makes up for the cons. If you ever get a chance to stop by I highly recommend the Katana roll, uni nigiri, and maiden roll.

Best Sushi in Everett! Humongous selection of very high quality fish you won't find at most places. Good music selection and fun cocktails. Can't wait to go back!

We like the food we ordered overall. But I gave 3 stars because the rice is a bit soggy, Chicken Katsu is too dry, and E-Town roll is a bit greasy. Happy hour price make the food very affordable and give room for more exploring. Chicken karaage and Potato Croquettes are our favorites.

Nice place. Food was good quality. The My Fair Maiden roll has an odd name but it is awesome! Loved it! However the Volcano roll wasn't my favorite... too much mayo sauce IMO. Waitress could be a little more attentive. Took a long time to get her attention sometimes but she was friendly and courteous.

such a delicious little Everett secret! absolutely amazing sushi and rolls, the service is extremely fast. the waitresses know what they are serving and give delicious recommendations. we come here almost every friday and i have yet to order anything i didn’t enjoy. the heart attack is reminiscent of monkey brains at Shiku. favorites are the firecracker, hamachi jalapeño, Godzilla and ICUG.

Super cute place. I absolutely loved the volcano roll. My kid loved the rolls as well as the tempura appetizer. our server was friendly and had patience while our son ordered.

I’ve been here many times over the last few years and they never disappoint! The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. The fish they serve is excellent quality for sashimi, sushi, and poke. Miso soup is one of the best I’ve had outside of Japan. I recommend coming here if you are looking for really good rolls north of Seattle!

I really don't know how this place gets such high reviews. But, last week husband ordered. We had to go back twice to get our missing items and items that were messed up redone. Had to speak to the manager the second time because having to go back twice wasn't exactly easy. Cut to this week when our go to sushi spot closed early on Friday night. So I decided to door dash from Katana. Ordered Philly sushi, chicken teriyaki, chicken katsu, beef bibimbop with extra beef and side of sushi rice. Was delivered but, missing bibimbop and extra beef. I know it wasn't door dash. This is a repeat issue with this restaurant. And it was like an extra issue that the bibimbop rice was burnt. If I want good bibimbop with non-overcooked rice and veggies I'll go to K-fresh. If I want good teriyaki I'll stick to Botan. And if Kai sushi closes early then I'll just not get sushi that night. I've constantly gone to this place and Terracota Red. But, both have underlying issues that don't seem to be resolved. Whether it's missing parts of an order or an extravagant tip being added to our order after we paid. And going back and forth with management about it and then being told we'd get a free meal next time and no real apology. When really whatd happened should've kept me from ever returning but I try to give local businesses my support. But, I think we are done with Katana and Terracota Red.

Really good sushi and sake in Everett. Love the ambience— staging an Asian street indoors, try to catch the sake flight during happy hour. Super fresh sashimi and nigiri, well-made rolls. Generous amount of escolar :)

I thought that I liked sushi and had had good sushi until I went here and found out that I love sushi and this is the most amazing place you could ever go to have it; not to mention the sake flights. Enjoy!

Please correct me if spelled wrong. But our Server, Kingsley? Kinsley? Either way she was AMAZING. I came here for my birthday with my fiancé and son. She was so sweet, gave my son kid chopsticks, got me a yummy drink, amazing mochi dessert for my day. She truly was so incredibly sweet and kind and made sure we had a great experience (we always do) but she went above and beyond! I hope to have her again next time we go!

We were all very pleased with Katana Sushi. Great service and excellent food. We really enjoyed the edamame bean appetizer. And the volcano roll and coco rolls were especially good. Just like right size and a perfect balance of flavors. Highly recommend Katana Sushi.

My friend and I didn’t find much of this restaurant. We thought the food was pretty average and kind of bland. We ordered the yam fries, chicken karaage, California roll, wasabi teriyaki steak skewers and another dish I forgot the name. The price was not bad as we went during happy hour. The sushi was pretty average as well.

We were here during happy hour which is from 3-6 pm and we got most of the items from there and additionally Philadelphia roll. I really loved everything and want to come back. The only thing I didn’t like as much was the sauce that chicken karaage was served with. It tasted a bit stale but maybe it was supposed to be this way, I’m not sure, as it was my first time ever ordering this dish.
