Beautiful beach. Has a netted off area to swim when stingers are around. Had a lovely swim looking at all the palm tree that line the beach, just gorgeous.

A beautiful narrow sandy beach with a long promenade of hotels, apartments, shops, restaurants and cafes. The beach slopes steeply into the ocean. Open water paddling and swimming is risky due to jelly fish, salt water crocodiles and sharks. There is a supervised netted area provided which is safe. Other facilities include a childrens play area and free to use electric barbecue stations.

We were up before the Sun to do the Sunrise Kayak Turtle Tour. Oh wow, this was an amazing experience. The waters were calm and the weather so perfect. Highly recommend doing this, Andy was our guide, and with little experience at kayaking before, we felt safe. I took these photos with my phone, Which I had in the pocket of the life vest, so it was easy to get to.

Palm Cove in the Far North Queensland, the Northern beaches, is the most popular beaches. Great to go fishing on the jetty or off from the rocks. Great for family day-out BBQ or swimming or just to chill- out enjoy the beautiful warm sunny days on the beach, smell the lovely salty breeze. Palm Cove is a awesome place to visit got shops right on the beach, pubs, cafes, and restaurants. Yes that's right right on the beach of beautiful tropical sandy beach of "PALM COVE"..

Very friendly staff beautiful atmosphere and right beside the pool. There is also a swim up bar for your convenience. Good choices on their menu's for breakfast, lunch and dinner 🍽πŸ₯‚ If you don't feel like going out of the resort it is a really welcome choice. There are some resident Magpie Geese who are quite friendly unless you get too close to the female who is nesting on around 8 eggs at the moment. Last but not least the gardens are full of beautiful flowers and the pond have good sized Barramundi in them. All in all, a fantastic experience πŸ€—

This is my favourite place to come and do some landscape photography. I don’t think I have ever been disappointed. Also a great place to have a nice meal out with family and friends as there are heaps of nice restaurants along the beach. My personal favourites: - Chill Cafe - Espresso & Co There’s a jetty where you can fish from. And thereβ€˜a a cravat Park.

Palm Cove Beach is a truly stunning destination. The beautiful beach stretches along the coastline, offering pristine sands and crystal-clear waters. The vibrant market scene adds to the charm, creating a lively atmosphere where you can immerse yourself in local culture. It's the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a leisurely weekend getaway.

Dine-in and chill at Rattle N Hum. One of the best choices for resto bar in palm cove. Such a lovely vibe with delish food and 5-star drinks. Big screen to watch live sports. Palm cove beach is amazing place to stay with that tropical vibe.

Heaven on earth. This is an absolute must visit place/beach in Australia. Beautiful town with great eateries and weather is just amazing. About 20 minutes drive from Cairns, this probably tops my recommendation to stay while you are in north Queensland surpassing Port Douglas and Cairns. For peace lovers from romantic couple to loving family holiday, Palm Cove is just LOVE

In my view it's overrated. It's a nice beach BUT it doesn't have a welcoming esplanade for visitors/tourists

  • 5/5 Bronwyn W. 2 years ago on Google
Love staying here. Our Airbnb was great and a short walk to the main strip. Loads of places to eat and drink, everyone was super friendly and helpful. It’s a great choice if you’re looking for somewhere a bit smaller than the huge resorts, but you’re still only 20 minutes from Cairns, and there is a public bus that takes you straight there. Highly recommend!

Beautiful holiday destination for families, couples or singles. Magnificent beach and esplanade pathway under the coconut palms and majestic melaluka trees. Excellent selection of hotels, resorts and eateries to suit all tastes.

I hope Palm Cove will keep its charm and appeal for many years to come.. Truly one of the best places on Earth. Lucky to be in this local area for well over 25 years now..

Picture perfect. Excellent amenities such as toilets, water fountains and a range of eateries. Bus 110 takes you directly from Cairns Central for $9.60 per adult. Such a good day trip!

Beautiful beachside tropical tourist destination. Not spoiled by the modernisation like other areas. Very beautiful and shady with palms and original trees. High end accommodation choices, numerous food and drink options. Chemist, fashion, groceries and post office. Stinger enclosure for safe swimming in the beautiful blue Coral Sea.

  • 5/5 Dmitry B. 8 months ago on Google
Surely one of the best beaches across Australia. While there are signs - if you swim between the flags forget about crocodiles, and stingers are not an issue. Fantastic sand for the kids to build their castles, excellent facilities always nearby (toilets, drinking water fountains, showers, tables, BBQs), ample natural shading from trees within 10m from the water edge and plenty of free parking available. Can't fault this beach in any way, for us only wish it was closer as it is quite far to get to from Victoria.

Beautiful beach, with a "stinger net" to prevent the jellies and Crocs from ruining your beach day! (Note: Pictures are not edited in any way!)

Based in Palm Cove. Kind of biased. Love the beach and the village atmosphere behind it. Tourists usually show pleasure and delight with the photogenic nature of the place when they discover the place, whether they stay here for a relaxing tropical escape or just take the turn in and visit in passing as they head up the Great Barrier Reef Drive from Cairns to Port Douglas and the Daintree.

  • 5/5 Robertino S. 3 years ago on Google
What a paradise! Beautiful and peaceful place, with a lot of restaurants and shops! You can lay down on the beach or just do some shopping around and than eat and drink something good.

Such a beautiful place to stay. If you need a rest away from the maddening crowd after lockdown then treat yourselves to a holiday in this romantic jewel. Paradise with its swaying palms, pristine white beaches and lovely hotels and resorts that line the Esplanade. Forget Bali as you can't go and instead enjoy beautiful Palm Cove. I loved everything about it . 🌴🌴🌴

Beautiful beach and plenty of nice spots to have a picnic. Generally not too crowded when I have been there. Nice beach to take a swim though I did get stung by a jelly one year. Many small shops and restaurants across from the beach front. Nice atmosphere.

  • 5/5 Lance W. 3 years ago on Google
Great place for some morning breakfast or coffee followed by a swim in the stinger net. Alternatively you could just enjoy the beautiful views out to the Coral Sea whilst walking along the foreshore

  • 2/5 Peter W. 3 years ago on Google
Pity the views are the only free things you get at Palm Cove Beach. Seems very congested and could prove to be an after Covid quagmire unless they do something about the traffic. Then again it could be lovely and enticing without the traffic ie much more space and night market Street vending.Throw in a few well regulated bars and we have a cross between Brisbane Quay and the Yarra walk and what could be a great Cairns satellite foreshore...
