Terrible service. I asked a staff member to help me take down a product off the shelves that was to high for me to reach & I was told.."my hands are full" when in fact she only had one item in her hand & she was just stocking a shelf. When i asked her how much the item was because it didn't have a price tag & she said i don't know instead of helping me find out the price & walked off. She looked very unhappy & her body language said it all. Toilets were absolutely disgusting & no toilet paper.

I never knew there was a toilet past the rugs! (Could have a better odour control in there btw.) Store is always great to explore through and find the right stuff for projects.

Nothing left on shelves only awful colours no one else wants are left. And the checkout make sure you plan an entire day for that experience its longest checkout line I've ever seen. Online was ok free shipping when you spend $100 and they source items from south east QLD stores with actual stock. also worth noting zero staff available or willing to help if you have a question at these cairns store.

This is yr go to place for just about anything except food and furniture. They have arts and crafts, bedding, bathroom, kitchen, curtains, blinds, material, dress ups, party/balloon section. Sewing machines, over lockers, machines to assist art. And so much more, all at great prices and even better if u beginner a member.

Non existent service! Over 25 minutes waiting for assistance. Went looking for a staff member on floor. No one about. Asked at front counter to call for assistance with prompts from me to call again - 3 calls. Nothing. 2 staff members went past advised they would send someone. Nothing.

this review is for Made to measure service: I would give negative star if I can, absolutely terrible made to measure service. they are very nice when you are doing measure and quote, as soon as you say for it you are now treated worst then ever, no respect for your time. they will give you an appointment and cancel it on the day the give you another appointment and there will be no show. you will be keep chasing them to come and install your Curtin/blind. the installer will blame the head office the head office will blame the installer. after many miss, they gave me a final appointment on 23oct for 14th Nov. I sent the timing to installer on 23rd so he know when is my appointment. my appointment is for pm so I clear my schedule for that and guess what?? I receive a msg in the morning that hw will come am instead and his attitude is, take it or leave it. no one picks up phone in head office stayed on hold for an hour, no one picks up phone at the branch.

I had a good experience at Spotlight Cairns. The staff were helpful, but not as friendly as I would have expected. The store had a good range of products, and I found what I was looking for at a reasonable price. They also offer helium balloons, which require you to book a time in advance. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is due to the staff not being as friendly as I would have liked. Overall, I would still recommend Spotlight Cairns to anyone in the area.

Hi, I would like to praise one of your staff today that gave us the best service I have received in a very long time. I have been a local for a long time and come in regularly but this man was so wonderful to us. I have young children 10 and 8 and they now want to purchase on their own.I was busy trying to buy my goods and he was looking after my children at the other counter, I was worried about them taking up his time putting through the purchase but he was so wonderful to them. He is mature age. I was so thankful to him that day and I’ll never forget his beautiful words he said that day. (There is no time lost when learning) Thank you whoever you are. Great place however half the time they don't have alot of stock. Wish you could click and collect from this store too would make it so much easier

Spotlight Cairns is a great spotlight store! It's absolutely HUGE and have lovely friendly staff. There was so much variety of everything from sheets to furnishings and an amazing wall filled with prints - actually 2 walls plus more throughout the shop . There were really good deals with so many cheap items. I picked up some bargains as well as a few random items like $4 BONDS coveralls..? Unsure why they had Heaps of them but I bought a few. They're full price is $15! Easy parking right out the front and the building is so nice and cold which is amazing in this Summer Heat!

Great variety of craft and sewing goods. Also lots of linen. Service was fantastic and the staff were super helpful and polite. I've been here a few times and always had positive experiences.

Didnt love the layout of the store and they didn’t have many of the painting supplies I was looking for. Seems to be a store that is layed out for home decor

I'm regularly shopping at this store as not much choice in Cairns. Today, very understaffed, signs showing discounts, specifically the Guttermann thread 30% off but get to register and not discounted, even though I'm a VIP member, was told to get sign and she would see what she could do. Really you want customers to do your work? I also was looking at Birch threads 1000m spools, no price for single spools up anywhere except special price of 10 for $10. Then went to the expensive high quality Birch lace, again no prices up anywhere. I had to look up on website. A very frustrating experience.

Store is very big they have a huge variety of material and other home projects. the store is very unorganised and its very hard to find what you need. Its like going to an op shop and paying full price although you can find good deals. But in saying that i would still go back.

Big discount week better get it now before it’s gone

Bought a sewing machine had no idea what I was doing. First time I have felt out of my depth this year. The staff even a few customers were incredibly helpful and patient. I left with a stock of items I still have no clue as to their purpose. But what a joy. I'm a bloke who wants to sew stuff and this is a kind port in a stormy sea. Felt safe and welcome to display my "L" plates here. Might end up sewing my hand to my leg, at least I got some help and a few chortels. Not with the lwg sewing part... that's all me.
