Abide Coffee house has the warmest vibes. Their coffee is incredible, rich and flavorful with different featured coffees all the time.Wonderful people serve you at Abide and they are as friendly and hospitable as can be. The presentation of the warm drinks are beautiful as you can see in the picture and taste even better than they look. Make sure you stop in when your life's adventure takes you through Wilkes-Barre. You will not be disappointed! Enjoy! ☕

The Valley's first 3rd wave coffee shop, and it's about time! When in visiting over the holidays I was craving some good coffee and was expecting the same old coffee situation I was used to growing up (Curry or Dunkin), and then I saw Abide on the map. One look at the espresso machine and I knew this was the spot. The coffee is excellent, and the barista was super friendly as well. We had to come back the next day for more before we flew out and ended up chatting with the owner for a good long while. It's a beautiful space and a much needed source of good coffee for the area. I had an espresso and a pour over and my girlfriend had the Snickerdoodle Lattee, everything was fantastic. Do yourself a favor and stop in here, great coffee and great people. 10/10 will be making this the usual stop when I'm back in town.

Love the aesthetics and vibe of Abide. They have a great selection of coffees, teas, and snacks available. The staff was super friendly and chill on a Saturday morning. My matcha latte with almond milk was well prepared but more expensive than any other comparable shop I've had in the area. I did love the piano in the seating area - someone started playing while I was there and it was wonderful!

I've been wanting to visit this shop for quite some time, but is a little bit of a distance from where I live. I briefly stopped in today before closing. I will say, I have not had an oat flat white made this perfectly since I lived in NYC last year. THANK YOU, LORD. Lol. 🙌 Seriously, it was amazing. And the barista, Jordyn, was super sweet! I will be back, for sure, God willing. I'm super impressed! I hope this shop continues to flourish. What a beautiful place!

Love this coffee shop. From the outside you can’t tell how spacious it is inside. You’ll be greeted by very friendly staff. They prepare great coffee in no amount of time. Large comfortable sofas by a fireplace are very inviting, set up amongst books to read so you can truly enjoy your stay. Will definitely come back when I visit Wilkes Barre!

These people are The Best! Today I was in with a few people. My kid niece ordered a latte, but after tasting it, she said it had too much coffee flavor. She liked mine better. 🙂 So we went back up to the counter to ask for some milk to weaken the latte. The friendly miss listened carefully to our story. Then she said, "Let me make it again with less coffee and more sweetener." BUT she wouldn't take a penny for remaking the latte!!!! She brought it over to my niece and made sure it was better. Seriously, people! Where else would you get such gracious service? Thank you and God bless your generosity!

Abide has a great selection of beverages (from simple to quite complicated!), yummy snacks, great customer service, a beautiful and intentional atmosphere that invites conversation or quiet reflection, and a venue that has historical charm. We love stopping in when we have a time layover between appointments.

Great coffee shop right off the square in Wilkes-Barre. Been there for 4 years but I wasn’t aware. Read about the change of ownership in the paper and decided to stop in. Really nice atmosphere inside. Much larger than I expected. Cappuccino was awesome and I bought some coffee to take home. Many varieties to choose from and they will grind according to how you intend to brew it : drip machine, press, etc. Definitely will be back!

Coffee goes down really smooth. Best coffee place in the area in my opinion and I don't live here. Staff was very friendly. Place looks like a good place to hang out but unfortunately I visited shortlist after the state opened up from quarantine.

Absolutely loved this place. I ordered one of their seasonal drinks and a coffee cake. The employee made a recommendation to add vanilla to my drink if I wanted it sweeter, so I did, and it was perfect! Friendly, clean, and the overall atmosphere is great. Would definitely recommend!

First impression when walking in was great. Friendly employees, welcoming environment and an easy to read menu. The seasonal menu had some great fall flavors to choose from. I got a pumpkin pie macchiato and would order it again. There was plenty of indoor seating options ranging from lone armchairs and tables for two, up to tables and couches for groups. Overall experience was a 10/10 and would like to visit again soon. My only dislike was the parking situation, but it's walking distance from the square and there is some street parking along side of the building.

This stop was an impromptu for us. Crossed the street and looked up and thought why not. The positive atmosphere was present as soon as we walked in. I love the low key vive, selections of offerings and the warm and cozy atmosphere. The place is a great retreat. I was happy to have stumbled in here. Another favorate spot in the city. I will be bringing family and friends here. Its like a home away from home feel, SWEET.

On a gloomy Friday morning that feels more like a Monday, what better way to start the day than with a mocha with almond milk from Abide Coffeehouse? The difference between taking passion in your work versus working purely to make a living is made abundantly clear as soon as you walk through the door. Abide Coffeehouse has been such a welcome to Downtown Wilkes-Barre and I highly encourage anyone who enjoys the ambiance, aroma, and body of flavor that comes with an excellent coffee to stop in and enjoy.

Absolutely amazing establishment. The proprietor and employees are over the top friendly. Walked in for the first time today. Beautifully welcomed me. Amazing chai and coffee products. If you ever watched FRIENDS this reminds me of the coffee shop... it's like coming home after a long day. More pictures to come.

I took my two kids here for hot chocolate. They had a great time looking around the store and they liked seeing the old bank vault. I also bought some loose tea, they have a great selection. I definitely recommend this place as an upgrade to your generic coffee place.

Fantastic coffee shop in the heart of downtown Wilkes Barre. Offer a wide selection of coffee, teas and other drinks as well as light fare. Highly recommend.

This place is a diamond in the rough of Wilkes-Barre. First of all it has a huge amount of space for a coffee shop with couches and a hearth around which people can sit and enjoy their drinks. The coffee seems to be very good, I had a cortado which was made correctly, unlike most coffee shops. But they have just about everything you could want. And I have never seen such a nice selection of pastries and the babka! Best I've had outside of NY. Such a good spot. You must stop by. If I'm ever driving even close to the area, I'll be stopping by again for sure.

I go to Abide multiple times a week. The service is amazing. Everyone’s so kind. The drinks are fabulous. The coffee is quality. You can get snacks, drinks, beans and grounds for home, AMAZING bagged teas, local honey from beekeepers daughter, and merch. They host trivia nights, game nights, worship nights, paint and sip nights, etc. So many events! Even pop up flower shops. They’re known for their mocha drinks and dirty chai. My favorites that I am obsessed with right now: Apple Pie Chai (best drink ever) Mango Match (must STIR no earthy grit, coconut milk, smooth and sweet) Coconut Carmel Latte (if you need strong) Strawberry Chai I get my chais hot which seems weird but it’s so frothy And theres a conference room free to rent! Also if you want to play games they’re there. There is amazing art hanging. And cool sitting areas for hangouts, reading, or work, What more could you ask for?

This place is really nice, comfortable places to sit and have your drink. The staff is nice, and the drinks are awesome. I enjoy how they pair themselves with other businesses, artists, sometimes you can even catch live music.

Their drinks are a literal addiction problem. You can taste the authenticity, strong coffee great flavour and the crew is amazing! I've been coming to them for a couple months now and I prefer them over the majority of coffee shops in the area. I highly recommend them if you love coffee :)
