After a very long day and a 6 hour drive in a car without air conditioning, I wandered into Eddie Brady's hot, sweaty and dizzy and asked to fill my water bottle. I must have looked pretty pitiful because the owner Patrick not only filled my water bottle, but gave me a glass of ice water and put my water bottle in the freezer. He let me sit at the bar and made conversation with me as I recovered in the air conditioning. I tried to order fries (which were delicious) and he refused to let me pay. His kindness made a huge difference in an otherwise very sad and frustrating day. I was just random stranger and Patrick went way out of his way to make sure I was all right. I can't express enough my gratitude. This is the kind of business that deserves all the support. Patrick, you made my day. Thank you so much.

Some of the best food in town with the steak sandwich and Reuben highly recommended. Family owned and operated, hope to come back soon.

Great atmosphere. Food was tasty. The owner, Pat, was engaging and had lots of good jokes. If you enjoy a quiet place to grab a quick drink and some food, this is a great choice!

The best fish fry in town 😋 I even purchased gift certificates for my friends. The best hidden secret in downtown Buffalo. Love it!!

In town for a passport. Fellow at the Holiday Inn said Eddie’s was a cozy place for a drink. He wasn’t wrong. The Guinness was fresh and the bowl of goulash (Thursday night special) was huge. +AAA would visit again.

I had to get my passport done in Buffalo and had a long wait and decided to go to this place to pass time. Walked in and customers were really sweet I had no idea what to do since I noticed the server was busy. Sat down and I had a man talk to me from across the bar to ask me if he could help me I said it’s just me and he’s like what do you want. I was taken aback because he was rude to me and nice to everyone else. He huffed and gave me attitude when I said I don’t have a menu. Yet I was still nice to him despite his attitude like did I do something wrong? He served me my soup and when I said thank you he ignored it. Okay whatever. He gave me my fries but made me get up for it and put it on the bar for me to just grab and I had to get up from my seat to get it. I’m not sure why he was extremely rude to me but maybe it’s cause I’m not a regular? Made me lose my appetite. I’m glad to know other people had experienced his rudeness. I’m sure deep down he’s a great person but I was baffled with how mean he was towards me.

thought this place was owned by tom brady's brother for years and boycotted it out of principle but I recently found out that that was a lie being spread by there competitters. went in for lunch and had the roasted beef and weck and it was very tasty sometimes I start to drool when I daydream too long about it so yeah check it out just watch out for the meter maids unless you brought quarters with you

Best lobster Mac I’ve ever had- and my grandpa is from Boston. Super quick and polite staff! Food was so good I didn’t take a picture until we were basically done. I’ll be back!

Brought in my 2 special needs people to get a fish fry. I paid for parking. I asked if it would be a problem if we get separate checks. The state looks at the receipts because they are wards of the state. This old man got an attitude. Felt so bad for the special needs people that were with me. I walked out. This is discriminatory behavior. Terrible!!!

One of my favorite lunch spots... food is always great, a few bucks cheaper than the surrounding blocks and the Bradys male you feel welcome every time

What a neat little place!!! Ordered the Beef on Wick and the Brady Steak sandwich. Let me start by saying both we're amazing. 3 inches of beef stacked on a salted roll AND a 1 inch bite through tender steak on a roll with hot peppers and onions. Next, the onion rings were very lightly breaded and full of flavor. Shoe string fries and a pickle rounded up our meal. For bar food, I'm giving it a huge high five. Service is flat. Expect a great meal without a smile. We got checked on frequently but very straightforward. Didn't make the experience any more or less desirable.

Patrick, Eddie’s brother, is one of the most genuine humans I’ve ever met. My friend and I traveled to Buffalo for a comedy show and was looking for a smaller bar to grab food and drinks. Patrick was the highlight of our trip. We are considering coming back just to visit his bar. Amazing food, drinks, and owner! Love, Alyssa and Sam from PA!

RACIST/HOMOPHOBIC!!!!!! Do not go here. Went for a drink with my boyfriend and the OWNER/bartender would not speak to us. Threw down a menu and our check after we paid. YET made plenty small talk with the man/woman couple next to me. We called to confirm and he immediately hung up. THE MOST rude and ignorant person I have ever met. DO NOT go here

Service was neither friendly nor welcoming, but it was prompt. Seems like a neighborhood bar for the regulars where new faces aren't welcome. Beer options were cheap grocery store stuff (pbr, blue moon, etc). We asked if they had any local options, and were handed a Labatt! Good food- beef on weck and portobello fries were both great. We wrapped up our meal quickly and exited as soon as we could, and instead went to The Big Ditch Brewing around the corner, which was awesome and very welcoming (and had actual good beer). We didn't like the vibe of this place at all, but to each their own.

Great place to hang out, especially waiting for a passport as the agency is just 2 doors down. I lived the wins and Patrick (owner) is a hoot. Highly recommended

Patrick was very nice, warm and friendly which really gave us a nice experience. The food was absolutely delicious. The steak sandwich was so well seasoned and so flavorful with addition to the size. The grilled chicken was also very well seasoned and the flavors of the roasted peppers and provolone cheese just elevated the dish completely. The chicken was nicely charred and was juicy and moist. The wings were also very crispy and juicy and the heat was there but I just prefer spicier wings. The cost was also cheap on top of the flavor, texture and experience. The restaurant was clean and cozy. Closing statement: Meets all expectation I have when I want to go out and eat something.

This is a classic bar and restaurant with fantastic food and a weekday following. It was my first time in and I was able to ask other dinners what they recommended and, they were correct, everything was delicious. The staff was just the right amount of attentive, without intrusion and made sure to check but not intrude. All over great experience and I would go back at the smallest suggestion.

Look, here's the deal, if you're sensitive, this probably isn't the place for you. This is an old school joint owned by one of the original proprietors, and he's rough around the edges, but still nice!! He talked smack to us all night, but we loved it - and we were a group of 3 - and I only say that because I've read mentions of him being bigot, and that was not our experience at all. Now for the important part - the food and beer were perfect!! Between us we tried veg beef soup, clam chowder, steak sandwich, beef on weck, fries and onion rings. All were great!! Some of the best onion rings I've ever had, and the steak and beef both melted in your mouth. We would absolutely return. Thanks, Pat!!

Nice old bar. BBQ chicken sandwich was very good, and the Broccoli cheddar soup was perfect for a cold day.

This place is great. The service, the atmosphere, the food. Lots of locals here, and were very welcoming. The Reuben was absolutely amazing. Only complaint is, the men’s room reeked. They need to re-stock the urinal puck. Also the soap dispenser was off the wall.

Eddie Brady's is a Buffalo institution! Had been gone for nearly 20 years and Pat Brady looked exactly the same. The food was spot on. We had chicken wings, Italian sausage sandwich, fish fry, and more. Beer selection includes craft, Canadian, and standard large breweries. Great time to catch up with dear friends!!!

My wife and I were in town for the Bills game over the weekend. First time in Buffalo. By dumb luck we ran across this place and met Pat. We immediately knew we had to come back before we left town. Warm, friendly, affordable, and excellent wings! Looking forward to our next visit!

Great place. Had a few hours to kill. Passport office recommended it. Fabulous local pub atmosphere - replete with exposed brick, wood beam accents, and countless local antiques. Food was great. People were awesome. I will definitely be back.

I love coming to this place. I describe it as a bit of a 'boy's night out' vibe. I don't know if the fries changed but both sweet and regular are top notch.
