This was our first post-pandemic visit. It was my wife’s first time ever! A lot of upgrades make the place look very classy and the contactless ordering is a huge convenience once you get the hang of it. We were received by the owner with a lot of enthusiasm and the staff that attended to us seemed eager to please. We were there for both dinner and the Hilario Durán Trio performance; it was a dinner-date for us. The venue is well suited for a good sound and being a tiny club, the ambiance is like having a jazz trio in your sitting room accompanied by new like-minded friends with the same gustos. The music was world class and matched perfectly the tapas and the wine. Pausa Art House has carved out an excellent piece of a pleasant place from a rough neighborhood that is just steps away from Kleinhan’s Music Hall. Enjoy!

Exactly what you crave for an easy, fun evening out: cool intimate listening venue, welcoming and beautiful host, fantastic musicians, good tapas, and nice choices for bottle of wine or cocktails. . Pausa…. BRAVA!!

Although the audience was asked to refrain from talking during the Alex McArthur performance, we were mesmerized by the unique & passionate sounds coming from the stage. A variety of genres from jazz to rock to contemporary, classical, and the blues were all meticulously strung together by one of the most talented singers & performers in Buffalo, accompanied by equally talented musicians!! A wonderful evening of good food, great service, and extraordinary entertainment!

Cool atmosphere, great live music offerings, and tasty, but simple food selections. Beers are a bit pricey (like $7 bucks for a Heniken). Beautiful art is often up throughout as well.

Great venue for small jazz show. Acoustics are very good. Staff are friendly and although limited selection food was good. Will definitely be looking for future shows to attend here.

Great music but.. Crowded seating ambient noise and very chilly makes for some discomfort BEWARE you can only order via QR code and a hefty service fee is automatically added

I love this unique little music pause. Not a big menu for food So don't come hungry unless you're planning to eat somewhere else later this is really small plates bread with racheda style topping's seafood toppings preserved with one sandwich that will fill you up. Beer and wine. The music is good. I really don't like their ordering system. Even the staff isn't happy with it.

QR codes to order food or drinks (really) the system was confusing our server was unhelpful and had an attitude to top it off. There is little parking in the area, had to park on side street blocks away, can’t imagine what it’s like in the winter.

Cute, cozy, live music hide away venue. They serve, light fare, wine, champagne, IPA"s and pop. The staff was attentive to the patrons and cleaning up in between orders. They have super clean bathrooms. Oh, how can I forget? They have art on the walls. Check it out.

Love PAUSA art house! Such a wonderful atmosphere and the music is always amazing. I beg my husband to bring me here as often as possible! If I lived closer this is where I’d spend every weekend.

Paid money to watch a performance on a tv since a wall seperates the bar from the stage, two stars because it's one of the only jazz clubs in Buffalo

Excellent jazz club, I love the tapas and the beer selection is great, get there early or reserve to guarantee a seat up front it's a long narrow venue and well worth it to be up front
