The falls viewpoint provides a breathtaking panorama of both the Canadian and American sides. It's a photographer's paradise, offering ample opportunities for stunning shots. What makes it even more convenient is its close proximity to the workplace. By taking the short rail down, which costs just $7, you can easily reach the viewpoint without the need for a bus. As you approach the falls, you'll feel the invigorating splashes of water, adding to the immersive experience. With its remarkable views and convenient access, the falls viewpoint is a must-visit for capturing the awe-inspiring beauty of Niagara Falls.

It has been our desire for a long time to visit and see the Niagra Falls from Ontario, Canada side. Our family, along with the relatives, visited it and enjoyed it in the 1st week of September, when the weather is pleasant. High-rise buildings of hotels, glittering shops, and kiosks. Parking was the main problem. The ferry tour was entertaining, particularly when it was passed by the USA side ferry. Gifts and food are expensive. Must visit when in Ontario, Canada.

I came here with my fiance and a couple friends over Canadian Thanksgiving weekend (I'm from the US so I don't know the official name). The falls are gorgeous and, while the walk along it was teeming with people, I got to take in beautiful views. Maid of the Mist is definitely worth checking out and I got to see the Falls from the United State's side (Canada's is far better). We got to see the falls lit up at night as well and that was a cool view. 5 stars from me!

Just a great area to hang out at and go for a nice walk with the most famous Waterfall’s on the planet in the vicinity. From Lundys Lane to Clifton Hill to the most epic views of the American and Canadian Falls to the Fallsview Casino resort complex it’s almost impossible not to have yourself the most memorable of experiences πŸ’―πŸ’―πŸ’―

After admiring the waterfall, it's worth spending time here. There are lots of activities for adults and children alike. If you have the chance, you should come back in the evening! The area comes alive, it is simply fantastic.

I used to go here all the time as a kid and it’s amazing to see that nothing has changed. There are SO many things to do here from going to restaurants, arcades, museums, haunted houses, mazes, roller coaster and more. You will never get bored and in the night, you can stroll along Niagara Falls to get some beautiful pictures.

Visited just after things opened up after the pandemic and the place was packed with wait times of 45 mins to an hour for most rides. Lots of arcade style and amusement park type activities. In the heart of the the entertainment area surrounded by lots of places to eat. A lot of excitement in the air and carnival like atmosphere. Worth visiting for families with lots of stuff for children to do.

Great spot to see both falls and buy all the tickets. Tickets for all things Niagara are available inside and the lines aren’t too long. Nice and cold inside with lots of food options and alcohol. Came in on a Saturday afternoon and only had to wait about 15 minutes to get a ticket to go under the falls. Lots of seating inside and outside and the restaurant overlooks the falls.

Love it! There is so many things to do there and it’s great if your just looking to go for a walk and look around. Lots of cool attractions for kids and great restaurants and even cool little stores. My favourite is Gags N giggles as I am a huge Elvis Presley and Marilyn Monroe fan and found a lot of amazing things there from cuts to clothing. They have fireworks every night at 10pm too during the summer and till October I believe. Only thing that sucks is it’s usually packed during the weekends and evenings.

Amazing place for varieties of activities for everyone in different ages. Simply you can bring your chairs and enjoy the falls view. You can walking around and enjoy the different parks. Take one of the city cruise and get splashed by the falls. You can give kids from all ages to enjoy Clifton area with all games. Average prices of any games around 20 dollars per person.

One thing must be said about humans and water, we go hand in hand and what better way to finish off summer than to be by the falls. I think it’s best to visit during the week if you have young kids or if you just want to stroll leisurely because weekends are always packed. Be prepared to spend quite a bit on food unless you bring a picnic basket or small grill to make your own food. Many parks around the falls to take a break peacefully.

The Niagara Falls view from the Canadian side is truly breathtaking. The majestic falls, illuminated at night, create a mesmerizing spectacle. The well-maintained promenade provides excellent vantage points, allowing visitors to fully appreciate the sheer power and beauty of the cascading waters. It's a must-visit destination for a memorable and awe-inspiring natural experience.

Definitely a must visit! Location is perfect with amazing views. The tunnels is a unique experience giving you 3 different views of horseshoe falls. Location has a nice gift shop and coffee shop. Part of the deck is being renovated but everything is accessible. Read my restaurant comment for the onsite fine dining location

Not very crowded on the weekend. Would recommend parking in one of the lots A/B/C on the other side. Spectacular falls that lived up to the hype. The viewing platform for the horseshoe falls and American falls wasn't connected because of some construction work

World's Largest Fall. view from Canada size is must to see. Recommended to enjoy the evening view as well as day time. Both are tremendous. Parking is an issue but against this Wonders of nature that issue is small enough to forgotten. Most visit the fairy. If you visit Niagara and not spend time in Fairy then missing the most adventures experience

It's my family's favourite scenic spot. We have been here many times, but we enjoy it every time. The magnificent waterfall is unforgettable. The well designed garden make people stopping and taking photos. There's a big parking lot. The public washroom is clean.

Great place to visit with the family. Must visit the various tourist attractions near the falls. Parking is around and also bus service runs to all the major places. You are able obtain a Pass to get a cheaper group deal on these attractions. Defiantly recommend and will be returning.

One of my favourite spots to visit with just my wife. The views are worth the drive. I’ve been here 100’s of times and I’ll visit another 100 times. Everyone comes for the falls and I understand the attraction. But the work they put into the landscaping is unreal. All the gardens in the area were spectacular. The area is always clean even with all the people that are always there. The views are spectacular where ever you are. If it’s the falls or the gardens or the people watching there’s always something going on.

Wow. What an amazing place. The view of the fall is spectacular from the falls view. There’s a lot of other activities in the area, restaurants and small shops. There’s also several hotels , casinos, a ferries wheel and other activities for both kids and Adults. Parking is not free but it’s cheaper if you park further away from the falls.

Probably the best FREE tourist attraction in the country! I suggest starting at the bottom of Clifton Hill, across from the American falls and make your way towards the Horseshoe. Every inch along the way is another location for a great view/photo. I'm amazed by how many Google Reviewers confused the viewing area with Clifton Hill or the entire city... I wish I could review the reviews.

Def a must go place in anyone's bucket list. Loved everything about it! What a clean, sweet, place to go with that special someone. We stayed at the Hilton and the views were pretty incredible. Plus their restaurants are good too. I highly suggest the breakfast with the gorgeous views.

One of the greatest falls ever hands down!! No wonder it's the most unofficial viewable natural wonder in the world!! Speechless! Don't try to get an all inclusive go pass! It's pointless because the zip line and the boat aren't included! But the tunnels were good! Better to buy individually for the main ones!

When visiting niagara obviously the falls are a must. The tourist area is fairly clean and has decent walking trails but it is unusually packed. As it was when I was there. I find morning is typically the best time to go visit. But if it's nuts I suggest going and visiting the hydro electric station that's opened to tours its just past the tourist area.

Was great, but insanely packed which makes sense since it was new years. There were Massive line ups for literally everything and it was hard to move around. Good to see people out enjoying themselves, not good to see so many people wear masks outside..

We were there on a cloudy rainy day, but it was still a fantastic sight. Lots of tourists, but there was plenty of room to get a good view. I would highly recommend the boat tour to get the extreme experience!

Great time driving through the holiday light show! I love Christmas lights, so I enjoy coming each year to see them. It's free to drive through and you can pull over to take better photos if you wish as well.

Enjoyed a lot, it was great fun. mostly people not wearing the mask. but it's mandatory when you going to use the washrooms. Weather was awesome today. In afternoon it was sunny 🌞, but near 3 o ⏰ it was 🌧. Naturally it looks amazing. πŸ‘Œ. Enjoy every one. All the best.

I visited the Fallsview Tourist Area with my family, and we had a blast. The view of the Niagara Falls was breathtaking, and the attractions were fun and exciting. The tourist area was very lively and vibrant, especially at night when the falls were illuminated with different colors. We had a wonderful time at the Fallsview Tourist Area, but it was also very expensive.

  • 5/5 Chris A. 7 months ago on Google
The Canadian side of the falls is definitely the place to be. You should expect large crowds and a very "touristy" look and feel, but there are food options for everyone, shops and attractions....and of course the best view of Niagara Falls!

  • 4/5 Helen HL L. 7 months ago on Google
It's always a great experience in walking around the Tourist Area at the Niagara Falls ! All the colorful buildings, Hotels and restaurants along the roads make the city very lively ! Everybody is in their holiday mood.

The Canadian side of the falls is a breathtaking experience. Wonderfully maintained. Go early to beat the crowds and look for the Flourmill Cafe for an incredible brunch.

  • 5/5 R D. 2 years ago on Google
Wonderful place by far! Located away from crowds but close to plenty of restaurants. Got the best view of the Falls from my room! If you go, ask for a higher floor. Try to check in as early as possible because the Lobby gets crowded and then there are lines to get on elevators. From back of the hotel you can also get down to the park & small shopping area that leads to some of the closest and most beautiful views of the Falls.

  • 4/5 Spencer A. 5 months ago on Google
This place is amazing. When you get to the top of the needle, you get a 360⁰ view of everything around you. Another cool thing is that inside the top of the tower there are destinations to show you what is in the direction, and in every direction you are looking. Below those are plaques with history stories about the falls. When you go out onto the tower observation area, you can feel the wind and see the falls clearly being up that high. The only bad thing to say is the disgusting trash piles on the outside ledge, on the other side of the fence. People are rude and disgusting to not just throw their trash away properly.

  • 5/5 Katie S. 6 months ago on Google
This whole area is incredible! I honestly had no idea that you could basically spend a week here. There are so many restaurants, bars, hotels, casinos, mini golf, one of the coolest multi-level go-kart tracks I've ever seen, so many wineries along the 2 hour drive from Toronto.

  • 4/5 Bruce M. 4 months ago on Google
There's so many things to see and do in a fairly small area. Clifton Hill is a steep hill but there are places to eat, play games, get souvenirs if you want even a brewery and distillery. Interesting to check out the indoor mall walk way that connects from the Rainbow Cafe area all the way down to the hotels down the street while staying indoors.

  • 4/5 Sifat N. 2 years ago on Google
Great experience. Went with family on long weekend. Loved the atmosphere. Parking was overpriced. It's $10 for a hour and $30 for the day.

  • 5/5 Gil S. 1 year ago on Google
Always a fun visit, The Fallsview area is an attraction for all ages. The area is undergoing some revitalization, and with some extra parking lots to make your stay more convenient and affordable if you are driving. $30 for 24 hours of nearby parking is a pretty good deal, I think.

  • 4/5 Robert P. 2 years ago on Google
Certainly worth a visit if you have never been, but once is likely enough. The boat trip into the falls should be your first stop. The zip line seems overrated. Walk behind the falls is more interesting for the tunnels than the view. The power station, recently opened, is worth the ticket price when purchased as part of a package. Parking is expensive everywhere and so are most of the restaurants. Should be combined with a trip to the wineries nearby.

  • 4/5 Christine O. 2 years ago on Google
What can I say, the Falls are just spectacular. They, have made the former power station an interesting and historical tourist attraction. The annual Christmas light festival started when I visited and it was fabulous how wonderful the fairy lights made the promenade light up for a mile or two. However, the other parts of the district were not of interest to me, dead quiet and shuttered during the week but attracting big numbers of weekend tourists for the casino and amusement arcades.

This place has the perfect view for falls, but I have rated this place with 4 star as tall trees will block the most of the view. few pictures I have posted from those you might understand. But yes you will stand as long as you want and enjoy the view. Rush was not there , whenever you feel cold you can enter inside falls view resort and get back to view again Niagara Falls light, you can see those from pictures.

Hubby and I wanted a little overnight get away and selected Niagara Falls for our destination which is 2 1/2 hours from our home. Highlights for us included Premium Shopping Outlet, the big Casino, local Italian restaurant and walking the area. We did have a Wagjeg deal at a Days Inn. Hotel was clean and staff accommodating. It was late March and with that the Town felt deserted..not a lot of activity/people. Didn't stop us from enjoying our short visit.

Niagara water falls. Paradise of water fall lovers. Surrounding areas are also a better option to spend time with your family and friends. Best time to visit- May to Sept. Falls view accommodations are available nearby.

Beautiful view of the falls, wonderful amusement park close by, and a gorgeous day. I couldn't have asked for more. Good for dates, reunions, anniversaries (I went for my 4 year), or other special occasions.

We went during April ..seem like the lights during night time were off as it was not high season... generally speaking it is outstanding seeing the Niagara falls and once done you can go and enjoy the outlet which In some cases you can find very good bargains...other than this not much to do there....bear in mind that in Niagara falls they charge tourist tax in addition to the other taxes...

First time at the Niagara falls and it was so much fun for the whole family. This time we went behind the falls and hope to the do maid of the mist on our next trip. It's a lot of walking and you should definitely have water and snacks handy. The falls are lit at night but there were no fireworks this time :( You can buy snacks and ice cream from vendors on the walk but that can be pricey. I hear it is nice in the winter too and hope to make that trip in the future!

This was a breathtaking adventure it was very crowded though with low % people wearing masks Yet still one of the most amazing places the most amazing places I have ever visited. the way things were set up how we could just go to the Ferris wheel and watch the lights over the falls

Niagara Falls is a truly awe-inspiring natural wonder that leaves visitors speechless with its sheer power and magnificence. The thunderous roar of millions of gallons of water plummeting over the edge is a visceral experience that resonates deep within your soul. As you stand at the precipice, feeling the cool, refreshing mist on your face, you are instantly humbled by the raw, untamed beauty of this colossal waterfall.

The more you see the fall, the more you fall in love with this fall.... If you like people around, give it a visit on weekends, otherwise come during weekdays and enjoy the calm walk along side this gift of god.... Parking is a bit far away... Almost 5-7 mins walk from the actual fall site, so be prepare for that in advance.... Plenty of options available to fill-up your tummy so no need to bring food from homeπŸ˜•

Busy, as expected. We parked up above the falls so the kids could take the hillside car down and back up, which has been remodeled since we were last there. It’s misty by the falls, expect to get misted. Nice on a summer day, fairly awful in the dead of winter. There’s a lot of tourist stuff all over the city so don’t drop a fortune on the things directly at the falls unless you feel you must. Lots of accessible areas at the falls, including washrooms.

Must visit. Depending what you're planning to do or enjoy what's best for your must do list, both sides- US and Canada offers something for everyone US side offers the best and closest shots for those who plan on having a up close and personal moment with both the falls- Horseshoe Falls and American Falls/Bridal Veil. That's if you don't plan on getting on a boat geared up with raincoat or going down to any of the cave tours no matter which side you're on. The US side offers the best of powerful mother nature experience since you're literally up close to both Falls. You will have to walk quite a long walk with plenty of stairs along the way to get to Horseshoe and American Falls/Bridal Veil since these falls are in opposite end of the state park. Approximately 30 min walk along the meandering path for those who have no physical difficulty. Pace yourself. Fun to experience wet mist at the Bridal Veil and the best thing is that it's free. Or spend the money taking the elevator down to the cave and enjoy the power and strength of these falls. Canada has more amenities such as hotels, restaurants, entertainment, and just sight seeing and people watching. Reserved your room at one of these expensive hotels to get the top level view. The greatest advantage one gets from the Canada side is that you get to see the view of both Falls compared to the US side. The disadvantage from the Canada side is that you're viewing both Falls from a much farther distance, lacking the power of the mist. To enjoy the mist, you will have to take the boat tour ($$) or buy tickets to visit the caves. Both sides offer boat and cave tours. So depending what you want to do, choose where you would like to view, enjoy mother nature or spend your night!

Really fun "Americana" tourist area. Steep hill with colourful facades, plenty of food options, and lots of cheap entertainment. Fun pass is reasonable value, and there is enough variety for a days worth of activities. Food is a bit overpriced, but too be expected

A truly majestic experience. It is something you have to sit and spend time to try and absorb God's creation and enjoy it. You can take boat tours, go zip lining, or simply take a walk around the area and you'll be in awe!

My boyfriend and I spent the night at Niagara Falls and it was so much fun. We weren't able to hit everything in such a short period of time. But what we did see and do was really great and enjoyable. It was his first time at the falls and my third so I was able to guide us around a little but. But we saw a lot of things together. Seeing the Falls themselves was so incredible. It's such a beautiful sight to see. I know that this will be far from the last time I'm going to the Falls and seeing everything again

Defiantly big changes from 40 years ago. I'm born and bred here. So in my opinion. I like the less commercial Niagara falls its. Too expensive to enjoy it all. When my cousins and I just a wee child. My uncle took all 4 of us out almost weekly to go see all the attractions. He did this and bought all us Ice cream for 50 bucks roughly. Can't take one kid out for an hour for that now a days

Wonderful trip. We went over new years eve weekend this year. It didn't feel crowded until we were waiting for the midnight fireworks. The local attractions are all worth the money and very well thought out. Even though it was overcast the whole time and cold, I would do a repeat trip in the future.
