👍👍 The crazy part is.. I didn’t even see this on Google when I was looking for a place to eat. Its in the cut off of Chippewaw and quite spacey. They were playing the game for Monday Night Football and it was empty and Bada Bing had no room… So inside I went. :) So I go sit at the bar and order a drin... The crazy part is.. I didn’t even see this on Google when I was looking for a place to eat. Its in the cut off of Chippewaw and quite spacey. They were playing the game for Monday Night Football and it was empty and Bada Bing had no room… So inside I went. :) So I go sit at the bar and order a drink, and Jackie informs me that wings were on special today for a whopping 50 CENTS a WING. Just on Mondays. Orders come in increments of 10. In disbelief I ordered 10… and when they came out I smelled the most gorgeous looking wings ever….. perfectly flavored… Here’s my plate… for $5.50. You wasn’t there.. but if you are reading this on a Monday… I’d get there ASAP. ;)

Completely captures the vibe and atmosphere of a traditional Irish public house. Was very pleased to walk in and not be disappointed by a cookie cutter looking modern American or corporate designed bar. Food was excellent and staff was super friendly, helpful and professional. Would love to come back another time when live music was going on, but enjoyed the Irish Pub Radio playing the classics.

Let me tell you something. This is the BEST REUBEN I have ever had. It was incredible. My wife got the beef on weck and loved it. The fries are just like shaved potatoes but the seasoning they put on them is delicious. If you want something good to eat go here.

My son has been here before for drinks and really wanted us to try it for dinner. So when we came up to visit, we decided to go. We loved the decor and the music was great. (We are Irish-Americans) the appetizers were very good. Our waitress was sweet. I ordered the mussels for my main entree. The waitress came back and said they were out of mussels. I decided to order the seafood chowder instead. What I got was not the creamy chowder I expected but an overly salty broth with some tiny shrimp, potatoes and a few mussels. When we said something to the waitress, she said “yeah, our chowder is not creamy”. I didn’t eat it. My husband got the 28$ steak which tasted ok but had a ton of gristle. We would go back for drinks and apps but not for dinner.

Authentic Irish fare! Attentive, engaging staff; Grace was the perfect server! Had the toasted Brussel sprouts and Bangers and Mash. My table mate had the onion soup and Shepherd's fries. It was all awesome. The atmosphere was cozy; perfect for a couple or small group. The last time I had Irish food this good was on Connecticut Avenue in Washington DC! The high ratings are very well deserved. Go néirí go geal leat i gcónaí

The Banshee is a wonderful, Irish Pub in the heart of downtown Buffalo. The food is great, with all the Irish favorites, along with much more. They pour a great pint of Guinness and have a great selection of beer. Fine Irish whiskey is in abundance across the shelves of the old- time bar. This is the place to hear live Irish music downtown and get that Irish Pub feel. The staff are friendly and attentive, and everyone is welcome there. Lots of singing and clapping spontaneously accompany the music. Good times!

The atmosphere is great, starting with the various items portraying Irish history and culture. The bar staff and management are always super efficient. I have only had some of their food, but everything has been delicious and I appreciate that they have a wide range of menu items. It is very evident that they have a huge selection of Irish whisky, as well as a wide range of beers/ales/lagers. I usually come in for the Premier League, but the World Cup events have been over the top. Staff willing to come at and open at 5am for every day is just super. Often these matches draw only a few guests, but the staff has never complained. The location downtown is very convenient to local hotels, businesses, and entertainment venues. I highly recommend you check it out and form your own opinion.

Nice bartenders, good Bloody Mary, but the Guinness Stew was more like a starter than an actual meal. Barely any vegetable (I counted two pieces of potato) and meat. Definitely not worth $18. Now I’m home looking for something else to eat because I left hungry.

Hannah was the most incredible bartender. So friendly, super attentive, & very knowledgeable of the liquor & beer. We had the most amazing experience & will definitely be back to see our new favorite bartender in Buffalo! Also bar was clean, bathrooms were tidy, & kitchen was quick & the food was awesome! Will definitely be back ☺️

I went to The Banshee Irish Pub for dinner yesterday before a show at Shea's 710 and loved it! A bunch of restaurants nearby are closed the entire day on Sundays, so we were excited to find a spot with a menu that fit what we wanted! The salmon was AMAZING, and we loved their cocktails. The staff were all super nice and the service was very quick. No wait times and there was live music! Definitely recommend.

This pub has such a cozy and authentic vibe! The seats up by the bookcases are so comfy and snug. Can personally attest that the Banshee burger, shepherd's pie, meatloaf, and Irish coffee are all delicious! We had a great experience and will definitely be back again soon.

Went on a whim after seeing it pop up on Step Out Buffalo. Sunday night quiet. Thought oh no when we went n cuz it was not packed. Decided to stay because if the reviews I saw. Well we were not disappointed Corey our server was patient and excellent. If you like curry you have to try the Curry Fries as a app. Weird but delicious. They are more like chips but not hard. Difficult to describe. Ruben was awesome and the chicken pot pie was on point. My only regret was not getting either the Sheppard pie or Guinness stew. Reason for that is 2 of us got the pot pie. Just wanted to try one more thing. Lastly, one of the owners came over and talked to us…Kevin is a good guy and very personable. We will be back.

FANTASTIC ATMOSPHERE. This place has old world character that you don’t see done well at most places. The Banshee somehow manages to blend lively chatter and live Irish music with a really cozy setting like you are at a friends home in front of their fireplace chatting over a few pints. Not quite sure how they pulled that off, but they did. Service was fantastic, beer was super reasonably priced, and while we were there everyone was smiling and having a good time. What more can you ask for? We will DEFINITELY be going back and trying the Irish breakfast as well as making it our home for the World Cup games. Well done gentlemen!

The food here is fantastic! I had the blackened chicken pasta and my husband had the shepard's pie. Both dishes were so delicious that we ate far more than we normally do. We had forgotten how big the portion sizes are in the States or we would have shared one dish as each was plenty to feed two people. We hated having to waste so much food, but we couldn't take the leftovers. Our server was awesome too. She was attentive without being too present, and we were able to enjoy our meal at a leisurely pace. Highly recommended!

Everything about this place is an embodiment of Ireland. The pub has some of the most friendly staff, management, and patrons. I was there for the 2023 Irish Echo awards, and I was there a few months later. Staff was friendly when they were super busy and when it was just my wife and I! I highly recommend this establishment as they have all the great Irish imports. If I could give this place a 10/10, I'd give it a 12. Check this place out soon!

We were visiting from Rochester and found a new favorite...Banshee's. No doubt they serve one of the best beer battered fish fries found anywhere. Their staff were quick, courteous, and buy golly cheerful. Thanks for making going out fun again. Ed

Stopped in around 4pm for a early dinner our server seemed distracted and it did take awhile for the food to come out as well as having to wait for eveones order to get to the table. Still tiped well for a group of 7 people. Food was absolutely delicious and good if not big portions. I tryed the salmon with finger potatoes and asparagus in a butter sauce with Guinness cheesecake that was absolutely heavy.

Wow, what a wonderful experience here! The food was fabulous and came in gigantic portions that made almost three meals for me. The beer selection was a bit low but still nice options. I got the fish and chips, which came with Mac salad and slaw, all of it above average. My colleagues absolutely raved about the wings. LOVE the bar and the tables tucked in amongst book shelves.

The food was amazing and the portions are absurd. I love that they have Buffalo staples at an Irish pub too!

Previously had a decent experience here. The last time waitress was bad brought us the wrong food. Basic items were missing and waitress told me the items missing didnt come with my meal even though i showed her the menu where they are clearly listed as part of the meal. The upside is the manager was very easy going and understanding why i refused to stay and have my meal corrected. Good place to have a drink at the bar and watch a soccer game.

I had a fantastic evening here! The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, the drink selection was great (I tried an Irish lager that I enjoyed very much) and the food was delicious. The wings, made "Irish style", were a nice twist to the usual plate of wings one would get in Buffalo, I highly recommend trying them. The Chef Special corned beef and cabbage dinner was made super well, everything on the plate was worth finishing off! Coming here for food, drinks, and a good view of a football match was a top notch downtown Buffalo experience. I can't wait to come here again for another similar evening!

We flew up to Buffalo from Alabama for our first home Bills game. It’s been my husbands life long dream to see them at home. We decided we were brave enough to try downtown and found this absolute gem. It’s everything you want in an Irish pub or what I would imagine one to be. Portions are HUGE. We split the shepherds pie. The staff are so friendly and the atmosphere is so warm. We’d come back again and I want a table in the book nook by the fire place!

👍👍 Dirty South taco was the hit for us - fried chicken with a bit of sweet syrup and flat waffle crisp-like pieces. Fast service, food came out quick and place is clean and hip. Roll up garage doors in front make for cool people watching. Bar area looks decent as well if you want a cocktail...
