Food was great, service was excellent, ambiance was perfect. I had the fish and chips the wife had the Mac-n-cheese special (outstanding). The fish was lightly breaded and the meet flaked off perfectly cooked. The chips were good and crisp on the outside but soft and yummy on the inside. The Guinness was expertly pulled and I watched the bar keep explain how to “drink” a Guinness the right way to a bar patron. He put his hand over the glass and waved his finger as the “second pour” was finishing. Then directed the patron at the bar that they must drink at least 1/3 if not more on their first drink (it was a 22oz glass so he pointed to where in the glass she needed to empty it.) All of this was happening while Irish music was piped through the bar the the Rugby Cup played on the big screen. Nice job Shebeen! Welcome to Siesta Key! I hope the get their liquor license soon. No whiskey. They only have been and wine right now.

Shared the beer cheese with the table- so delicious. The fish and chips entree was probably the best fish and chips that I've ever had. The fish was white flaky and perfectly cooked with a light crispy batter. The tarter sauce was a perfect compliment. I highly recommend it!

My wife and I recently visited Shebeen Irish Bar and Kitchen on Siesta Key, and I have to say, we were thoroughly impressed. Although they are still new and working on finalizing their hours and menu, the experience we had there was great. First of all, the atmosphere of the bar is incredibly cozy and welcoming. It's the perfect spot to grab a drink and a bite to eat with friends or family. The staff is also very friendly and attentive, making sure that you have everything you need. As for the beer, the Guinness was fresh and poured to perfection. They also have Smithwick’s as well as some others on tap or bottle. It was just what I was looking for in an Irish bar. The food did not disappoint either. I had the bangers and mash, and my wife had the shepherd's pie, both dishes were delicious. The bangers were juicy and full of flavor, and the mashed potatoes were creamy and buttery. The shepherd's pie was also spot on, with a hearty and flavorful meat filling and a crispy crust on top. Although the menu is still being finalized, I'm excited to see what other dishes they will have to offer. If the bangers and mash and shepherd's pie are any indication, the food at Shebeen is going to be top-notch. Overall, we highly recommend checking out Shebeen Irish Bar and Kitchen on Siesta Key. The combination of great drinks, delicious food, and cozy atmosphere makes for a truly enjoyable experience!

My husband and I are here on my honeymoon. This place is AMAZING! Seriously best food and service I’ve had on the key so far. We got the beer cheese and chips as an appetizer and it was the best. I got the burger for my main meal and my husband got fish and chips. Everything was cooked to perfection. Not only that but the service was like no other. You need ot try this place. It’s in the plaza where toasted mango cafe is.

Stumbled in here because of the live music, stayed for dinner - excellent. Great beer, fish and chips, Ruben,... everything we ordered was great. Walk past Captain Curts and get the fish here

We stumbled across Shebeen by accident but boy are we happy we did. We came back a second time for the fish and chips. We tried it at 3 or 4 places and this was hands down the best. But everything we ate was fantastic and made from scratch.

The owner is delightful! Atmosphere is great. Beet salad and homemade fries were amazing and my friend said the fish and chips were the best she has ever had !

The corned beef on the Reuben sandwich was on the tougher side, missing the fork-tender quality I expected from an Irish pub. On the positive side, the chips served alongside were exceptional – they definitely stole the show. The atmosphere has nailed the Irish pub vibe. However, my disappointment grew when I discovered they had run out of Guinness on the day of my visit. For an Irish pub, this oversight is quite disappointing. Guinness is a staple that patrons expect to find readily available. Hopefully they improve the quality of the Reuben for my next visit!!
