The food was good and came out in a timely manor but the service was less than impressive. We dined on the patio trying to enjoy the fresh air and evening setting on June 12th 2022 our drinks were consistently empty we asked for some vodka sauce for our bread and it didn't arrive till way after I mean at least 10-15 min after our appetizers were consumed and honestly it reminded me of nothing more than Campbells tomato soup nothing to really rave to your friends about. The part that bothered us the most was one of the employees that ended theyre shift had his car backed up right next to the outdoor seating. He was driving a newer style mustang with an EXTREMELY loud aftermarket exhaust (and for me to say loud is an understatement considering Im retired military with a constant ringing and hearing loss, probably louder than my Harley Davidson) and after firing up his wanna be street racer he allowed it to nauseously run for a good 5 minutes as if he were warming it up in 30° weather. I saw an older woman probably late 50's get up and signal him to please drive away (as if everyone there were delightfully enjoying his foul exhaust with their meal) and instead of just putting his pride aside and leaving he had the audacity to leap out of his car as if he were some tiny superhero and insisted on pathetically arguing with the woman trying to enjoy her meal directly behind that car probably covered in god knows what from his exhaust. I was completely flabbergasted on how this individual handled the situation and honestly if I ever saw my kid disrespecting a woman like that I don't care how old they think they are I would have spanked him infront of all those people trying to enjoying their exhausted soaked meal. Glad our friend from out of town got to experience Florida and the little delinquent along with his childish pre puberty bad attitude....... such a shame. Ordered a dozen gulf coast oysters they had good flavor the meat was huge minus the exhaust fumes was not impressed they were still attached to the shell. I thought the pan seared Corvina was good but I would have enjoyed it more without an extremely loud exhaust or exhaust fumes or some little delusional punk disrespecting and elderly woman. I WILL NEVER recommend you dine at this place

Average at best. They say they consider themselves an Italian place, it’s not an Italian place in any conceivable way. They say the pasta and sauces are all made in house… if they are, they do a great job of making them taste like TV dinners. They cater to the snowbirds so they say the seafood is delivered fresh daily, it definitely doesn’t taste like it is! Still, the elderly crowd seemed blissfully ignorant to the host of better restaurants in the area. I will say they have a pretty good cocktail menu. I got a sazerac and it was top notch, but I’d be suprised if the entire volume of liquid in the cocktail I was served exceeded 2oz. It was the smallest drink I’ve ever been served anywhere in the world and it was over $10 😭 The only thing out of this world here are the prices! I would only recommend this location to someone who enjoys paying for overpriced tiny cocktails and has more dollars than sense.

I use to love this place and recommended it to all of my friends and neighbors, until now. We had dinner with friends last week and i ordered the PARMESAN CRUSTED COD from the dinner menu. They substituted the cod with grouper for an up charge, which is fine and expected. However when the meal arrived the grouper was literally the size of a deck of playing cards (see attached photo). Per the menu i was also suppose to get steamed Broccolini, one of my favorites but instead I received plain cold regular old broccoli. Additionally, the meal is supposed to come with Honey Pistachio Sweet Potato Mash, another favorite of mine, but instead i received regular old mashed potatoes. This situation happened once again with a different menu selection about 2 months prior, receiving substitutions without any notification from the server or manager. You got me twice now Speaks Clam Bar, you won't get a third chance. Unfortunately, you've lost another loyal customer.

Overall a good restaurant. The food was good quality. The spicy Diablo type sauce was quite mild and the clam linguini very salty. The lobster and shrimp lasagna was rich but delicious. They serve hot buttered rolls that were a tasty treat. Overall a good dining experience. Mike the waiter was very attentive and we had prompt service. It can be a bit loud the earlier you go. Solid 4 stars!

It’s sad that I have to wright this review, because there’s good in this restaurant and the potential for it is great. But the sauce is in the details and it’s where I believe based on my experience they are failing. We got there right at dinner and were seated outside. We ordered a couple of appetizers, main course, drinks and all of the desserts they had as we wanted to try them. The waitress was good, personable and had a great attitude. We order Eggplant Napoleon and the Colossal mozzarella sticks and they are BIG! Unfortunately it didn’t seem or feel fresh. The cheese was hard, not melted or hot at all the picture is uploaded. The meals came out pretty soon after the appetizer did, mine was the Buba Bucket which was greasy, the batter was supper thick and it fell apart on the first bite, I couldn’t finish eating it. The other one was the Penne alla vodka, that one was good but we found a hair in the sauce and it was sent back to be remade. Front of the hose manager came out and was very apologetic and so was the back of the house manager. The food came out and again, there was another hair in it! Like I wish I could have those odds playing the lotto. At this point we didn’t say anything, just paid the bill and left. Based on my experience here and first impression, the meal and the service wasn’t worth what I paid and I will not be eating here again and I won’t be suggesting this place to anyone any time soon.

My first time at the Clam Bar and man the food is Fantastic! The atmosphere is amazing and the service is spot on. I enjoyed the steamed breaded clams to start followed with the Lobster 🦞 bisque. Then the Best Grouper Sandwich Ever! Seriously I have never had such a moist and perfectly seasoned grouper before. I Highly recommend you try it and come enjoy the whole experience. I’m making plans to come back soon. And I live 4 hrs away 😳

This place has an amazing menu and everything I had was delicious. I loved my server Cassandra also. I wish I lived in the area so I could try everything.

Truly a hidden gem - not at all what you would expect in a strip mall on SR70. Very clever and fun concept. All the food I've tried is fantastic and the drinks are what you would expect from a Speakeasy style lounge/restaurant. Highly recommended!

Overall, the experience of the restaurant is pleasant. Good food, great service - thanks to the new very nice waiter :) And thanks for the red wine you recommended! And by the way, bread with olive oil and spices was also on top!

Wow, everything about our dinner experience was great. It's a popular place with great food and drink but service was quick and friendly even during a crowded time.

Best bartender, Joe! Ask for him. Food is all scratch made and so reasonable priced. Highly recommend their Mussels and Chicken Marsala with house made pasta. I would be surprised if there is anything on the menu that is just OK. We all loved our meals, aka comfort food!

I was with a party of 20. From the initial interaction the restaurant was great to deal with. All in all, an excellent experience. The food was great. Our server was fantastic. Drinks were very good. I will definitely return.

This place was amazing!! Please put the puttanesca as a normal menu item. We had it as a special and it was incredible. We also had an amazing lobster roll it is all stuffed with lobster and absolutely incredible. Highly recommend this place.

Wow, not what we expected! Most of the menu is Italian dishes although they do have clams and other seafood. The food was fabulous....warm bread was a treat! The restaurant is much larger than what it appears to be but was also very cozy. Billy provided the most excellent service!! He anticipated our every need and was very friendly and efficient. The perfect night out with friends!!

What a fantastic night, the happy hour, food and most importantly the service was phenomenal. Mary our waitress was not just on top of everything she was an absolute pleasure. Highly recommend the Spicy margarita and oysters.

Great place! Highly recommend trying a pasta dish because they make their own pasta and it's amazing! If you don't see something on the menu, just ask. They put together a nice linguini Alfredo with grilled chicken and broccoli per our request. Also recommend coming hungry so that you're able to try an appetizer, a soup, your entree and dessert. If you arrive before 6pm there are happy hour specials. The service is also outstanding!

We ate here for the first time with some friends and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I particularly enjoyed all of the GF options. Our server was Ryan and he was outstanding. We’ll most definitely return.

We went for dinner and drinks. The atmosphere is very nice although a little noisy in the dining room. The food and service are outstanding as always. The eggplant stack is fantastic! The chicken saltimboca was spectacular in every way.

My back to have my second meal and I have to say that everything was much much better. Very good. Thank you Olivia for the gift certificate to give you guys another chance. I will definitely be going back and trying more of their menu.

This place is one of my favorite places to visit! The food, the drinks (emphasis on the drinks) and service is always on point!! They never disappoint, from the stuffed shrimp to the hand made pasta, this place is such a jewel! If you go, sit to the bar and hope Eric gets to serve you!

Great Authentic Italian Food. Friendly and Attentive Server. Enjoy the Sangria and the Food. Definitely will be back to try different options on the menu. Mozzarella Sticks were amazing. Lobster Lasagna with the Salad was amazing.
