Ella’s is a great lunch and dinner spot. The have live music, and a great atmosphere which includes a beautiful outside deck. And of course don’t forget about the famous Soul Food Sundays… no eggs on the menu, but you’ll find things like chicken and waffles, biscuits and gravy, and fried catfish.

Such a homey spot filled with unique artwork and amazing service♡ Food is comforting and super delicious! I love that there is Vegan and Vegetarian options that are full of flavor. 10/10 highly recommend the Fried Catfish (fork tender) along with Bacon macaroni and cheese with savory collard greens. My mom and sister both got the Veggie Burger with Vegan Mac and cheese. My dad got the beef sausage with baked beans and the bacon macaroni and cheese! It was my sister's 30th birthday today on Easter and our lovely waiter brought out a complimentary Red Velvet Cake for her! Definitely one of our favorite spots♡♡♡

Eccentric. Eclectic. Excellent. Ella’s has been one of my favorite Tampa eatery’s. With its intriguing metal sculptures, shaded outdoor seating, and veritable art gallery inside, the environment fosters a dining experience that feels down to earth with cultivated undertones of classic Americana. You’ll not want to miss their Soul-Food Sunday brunch with healthy portions of Kiss my Grits (shrimp and grits) or Fried Chicken and Waffles. Drown this down with their signature libation, a Bloody Ella, which comes with a hickory smoked rib.

The meatloaf dinner and shrimp & grits dinner were delicious. . .the best collard greens I've ever had - sweet and a tad bit of spice. The collard greens were the most interesting greens I've ever had the pleasure of eating. If I could make them like that then I'd eat them everyday! The portions were a bit smaller than I was expecting for the price which is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. The mashed potatoes definitely needed a bit more on the plate.

I was so excited to try this place. It looked super cool inside and all the photos looked amazing. I couldn’t wait to taste the food. Unfortunately, it was not amazing. The Rasta fries tasted like regular potato wedges with absolutely no seasoning. They didn’t have the tuna so I ended up with the jerk wings, which were not very hot and flavor was meh. Very disappointed! Plating was fantastic, but flavor was not.

Very nice place to eat at in Seminole Heights! It has a nice eclectic vibe where you may eat inside or outside. They do have an upstairs with more seating areas too. We went during their brunch menu and had the most delicious meal and beverages ever! We shared cornbread and fried pickels as an appetizer and had several mimosas - Guava, Watermelon and Peach. My main entrée was the shrimp grits with collard greens and my husband had the catfish grits with collard greens (not pictured). Let's just say no food was left behind, it was that good!!

We have been to Ella’s twice and both times were a home run. Spicy skinny drink is my favorite. We have tried two of their burgers of the day, always Very good and cooked perfect. My new favorite is the chicken and waffle Sammy, and my husband is now in love with the viva la chimi appetizer, fried pickles app is really good also , and the key lime pie OMG!! Will visit again. FYI reservations on weekends are usually a good idea.

What a great way to spend an early Sunday evening. My wife and I, along with our 2 daughters, enjoyed live music, a lively atmosphere, and really good food. I definitely recommend the ribs and fried green tomatoes! Everything was good, but those stood out the most. The drinks were good and strong! It was like a Nola vibe with a little TX smoked meats.

Boy this place has a lot of positive reviews. After visiting, I can understand why. Parking is in the rear, and there is extra parking across the street if needed. Fancy murals decorate the parking lot and foreshadow what is to come. Right when we walked in, I could tell this place was different and fun. One wall is dedicated to Elvis. Another has the largest hat in the world (I think that is what it said). There's a full bar and a stage where live music performs on some evenings (it was mentioned that bluegrass and jazz are popular here). I'm not even sure how to describe the enjoyable music I was listening to in there. It was a mix between the soundtrack from Oh Brother Where Art Thou and what you hear on the boat while touring The Land at EPCOT. I ordered shrimp and grits with a side salad and vegetable soup. Everything was delicious. Kids loved their pizza and cheeseburger. Servers were friendly and helpful. I tried a alcoholic beverage, the Boozy Suzy. Definitely strong. No shortage of alcohol there. So we definitely splurged a bit. I think a party of four could expect to pay about $100 + drinks and have an enjoyable evening out. I'll definitely come back and try some of the other items as well as stop in for the late-night live music.

Love this cute little trendy spot. Beautiful patio. Service was friendly and prompt. Everything is housemade. Pizza was awesome. Salad was huge. Steak was perfectly prepared. Burger was just right. Casual trendy vibe. Moderately priced. Decent portions. Recommend you try it. Reservations recommended.

My favorite local spot! The regular, weekday menu is wonderful, but Soul Food Sundays are the best. Great food, amazing beverages, and the servers and bartenders are always wonderful.

Exceptional spot. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. They have a wide variety of juices for mimosas. This place was suggested to us as tourist, and it did not disappoint.

It's such a fun, quirky place. Loved the decor. There is a patio in front for outdoor dining, but we chose inside. Our server, Olivia, explained that it is a farm to table restaurant partnering with local folks. I love that! She was phenomenal. Started with a drink from the bar. The old fashion was super good. Husband got the ribs and devoured them. Said they had great flavor. I got the shrimp and grits. I thought the grits would have more of a cheeesy flavor. A tad disappointed. We also ordered the gnocchi. It was fried, so it was not as appealing as fluffy pillows of goodness. Wasn't bad, just not as expected. We had the fried pickles as an appetizer, and they were really good. The mocha chocolate cake was a disappointment only because the mocha flavor was only in the icing. I'm not much of an icing person, so it was really just chocolate cake without that. The cheesecake came with a churro. The cheesecake was okay, nothing special, but the churro was fabulous. Did we enjoy the place? Yes. Was it over the top? No. Would I go back? Definitely.

I found the place to be very eclectic, funky and uniquely cute. The decor is what brings life to this place. We ordered drinks and took an old fashioned kit home with us. Next time, we’ll come on a Saturday or Sunday to enjoy the food and live music.

Once we reminded the wait staff we were there (we sat for about 20 mins at our table without any service) everything was good. If you like art then you will really like this place it’s very elective. The food was delicious! Besides the hiccup in the beginning I would definitely come back. Sn: the bathroom was very clean!

Went to Ella's Americana for lunch. They have both indoor and outdoor dining. The atmosphere is very relax and laid back there were many art pieces throughout the property that makes it extra special. The food was good especially their chicken and waffles. However, their pizza was really mediocre so knocked the review a star. Overall prices are reasonable, they had a black cherry bellini which I was surprised was so ridiculously good.

Get a reservation! That being said the food and drinks are amazing. We went on Sunday which has its own menu. Bloody Mary's come with a Cajun rim and a rib on top. Phenomenal. Every dish has great portions. I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. I tried 4 different items and they were all above expectations. See photos.

**Quite the Vibe** Overall: Whether you want a chill brunch spot, or a lively afternoon, expect exquisite food and lively staff. This is the spot to be if you visit in the Tampa area Food: I ordered the Bourbon Peach Sweet Tea along with their Chicken and Waffle Sandwich. Everything was perfectly seasoned and tasted immaculate. Not much more to say other than it was perfect. Service: Staff was friendly and chill. Very knowledgeable about the menu and took their time with crafting my meal. Ambiance: Clean with a fun rock theme. Definitely one of those interesting spots to see the scenery. Conclusion: Come through for great quality food and an upbeat atmosphere and enjoy thr day or night. Also, this place is dog friendly with certain food options available for your pups.

If you are looking for a unique experience this is it. As you enter the restaurant you can see lot of art on the wall. Then of course the food was excellent. I got the ole mole and wow...so many flavors and was soooo good. We also ordered fried pickles and I did not like it because for me it was too salty. But ole mole left me speechless. My friend also got the white sangria and she said it was the best

I’ve been to Ella’s four times now (twice for brunch) and they are just stunning every single time!! The spicy margarita and the Sunday Bloody Mary are my favorite drinks, then for food I always try to get in for Sunday brunch because the selection of southern food is so goooood. The brisket sandwich is flavorful and pairs well with bacon mac, the catfish was perfectly crisp and served with the most incredible tartar sauce/ peppered ranch we ordered extra. The fried pickles are some of the best in town, fried green tomatoes are legendary, and I gotta believe everything is probably equally as dank. The atmosphere is super chillin and the fresh herbs make me happy, their outside area is well kept and inside has an eclectic cozy vibe. Extra love because they were so accommodating of a large party and wiped down our entire table after it had rained, thank y’all for being the coolest.

We stopped in for lunch and it started off with additional parking close by that was well maintained. The staff was excellent and informative. Hard to believe even though I'm the one that ate it but Ella's has the best chicken and waffles EVER!!! Drinks were creative and delicious as well. Wish I had room for desert (even vegan options) but hey I'll be back. Oh and did I mention the Sooooouuuuppp!!! Thanks for a great meal 😁

First visit to Ella’s and the food was delicious with good servings. The adult beverages were amazing 🤩! The art was scary, yet interesting. Will have to come to try the meatloaf. And to hear Acme Garage Jazz Band was a special treat🎶.

This place was awesome. Great outdoor vibe! Our server was amazing. He was very knowledgeable about the drink and food menu and offered suggestions. We all has burgers with different sides. We don't regret a thing! Absolutely recommended this place and we'll definitely be back!

Amazing! Unique experience, great food with vegan options, and friendly service that goes above and beyond. Hannah was great. Outside seating was enjoyable. Highly recommended!

We really had a good time with really good food. The ribs were super tasty but found out they only do the Bloody Mary drink with the rib on top on Sundays only. Sunday they have live music too. The steak salad was awesome with homemade dressing. The pizza is cooked on a stone. Prices were above average I would say $23+ per person without alcohol. I had the steak salad I highly recommend that. Only two bathrooms and they are single ones. The neighborhood is a little sketchy too. The wine list is not that great but the liquor drinks are good.

The brisket, ribs and Mac-n-cheese were amazing. So were the drinks and pumpkin cheesecake. However, the catfish, collards and grits were not so good. The amazing catfish was covered with so much tomato jam you couldn’t taste it (only the ends that were not covered) and the collards and grits were so so.

The Panang Curry was amazing. I'm looking forward to trying more items on the menu! My companion had the waffles and chicken, and both were tasty! I like the laid back atmosphere, including the eclectic furnishings, music and furniture.
