It has changed and food taste is awful. Ordered tomato soup but got tikka masala kind of liquid with added red color. Ordered Vada, Mysore masala Dosa and paper dosa, it was not tasty and not authentic and not good at all. Hindu temple canteen is the best for Dosa and Vada in Tampa area. Took veg thali and very disappointing taste and quality.

Terrible restaurant. Saw that it was kinda new so thought it would be worth a visit. Food was bland and mediocre which I could forgive but the last straw was plastic that we found in the food (noodles to be precise). When we pointed it out to them, they took it away and gave us a refund for the dish but then claimed that we somehow brought the food from outside??? Said that our server saw us bringing food from outside which is where the plastic came from. Didn't own up to their mistake and then blamed it on the customer - nice way to run a restaurant! Pro tip: plastic is not a good way to spice up mediocre food.

These guys don't know how to cook. And absolutely ZERO Customer service. Rude owner/manager(you can look at his response below making false accusations to justify his stale food).Cook would put stale food on your plate and claim it to be fresh. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. There are many other indian restaurants that offer great food and make you feel welcome. So take your business to a restaurant that will not serve you stale food.

Update: this place is always great!!! The staff is friendly and great at explaining things😃 I continue to order from here and am pleased each time! Very good! I usually get the ck madas but have tried many different dishes and have enjoyed many! The naam bread has always tasted very fresh and the dishes are aromatic and flavorful. Update: i have visited here a few more times this year. Still consistent and flavorful! The milky-cream sauce has been thick every time. Portions are affordable, food is fresh, staff is very friendly and attentive.

While I was initially nervous about the string of poor reviews, I decided to go out on a limb and try out this local spot. Needless to say, I was not disappointed. The food was quick, hot, and well spiced, service was friendly and prompt, and any issues from previous reviews were either handled or non-existent, including pricing!

Awful food, no taste at all. Ordered spicy veg chowmeen,but no taste, no spice and most surprising there was a big plastic piece. I am going to report this to Food and safety. They fried the plastic with the chowmeen and who's responsible for the poison I ate and get sick. If I could do 0rating I would. Wasted money 😡😡

We ordered rava Dosa and paneer butter masala. The taste was below average. I went to the restroom, and it was disgusting overall. I don't know what to expect when it comes to maintaining hygiene in the kitchen after looking at the condition of the restroom. We are never going back there.

Going downhill. Fake Indian dishes. I’ve ordered their food a dozen times. Excellent… but now, not sure if they got a new cook, but the last several times, it was as good as those frozen Indian dishes you get at Publix. It’s frozen dishes. They replaced their cook with a microwave. Seriously, it’s frozen food.

Food had no flavor! The daal tasted like water. They don’t ask for spice level like most indian restaurants (at least on doordash they don’t). They also left an item out of our order. Definitely won’t be going back. Don’t waste your money here.

Ordered food from this place during my business visit. Got the onion uttapam and lamb curry. The taste was okay. Very small quantity of lamb curry that was charged 22 bucks and had 4-5 small pieces of lamb meat lol. The uttapam was okay and tasted fine. The lamb curry was not like the way I expected, wish it had more flavor. Sambar and chutney was really good though.

You should sell milk bottle saying kheer because kheer is just milk and water in container And goat curry price should be 10$ or less since there is only 3 piece in it, full of white fat Tandoori chicken is ok

Wonderful people, amazing food. There is no place like this. It has been here for years and the food is positively delicious. Vegetable dishes, curry, Masala are unbelievable. It’s amazing to think this little place has been hidden here for years.

Great atmosphere. Food all cooked to order. Waiter was very pleasant and patient as we took longer for kids to make a decision on lunch.

It was so good. Ive been 5 times and Tali, curries, biryani is so good. The house combo its the best. But the palak paneer was so bad. Please no that water, more creamy. Congrats

One of the most highly priced place I have ever been. Portion is so minimum. Paneer was ordered as a starter, and guess what. It was served uncooked coming out of a freezer. Horrible taste , hygiene is minimum. Total rip off. Dosa’s are over priced and served with boiled potatoes with no taste. Save your hard earned money and find another eatery.

Thank you Mohammed A for ur Hospitality. This was our 3rd visit and i made sure i waited to get the name of the staff who was more than efficient each time we visited . He was all smiles and always helpful n quick with his service. I would give 4 star for the food just cuz the chicken biryani we had during our last visit was a miss ! It was extremely oily n slaty. The rest of the dishes we have tried ao far was delicious. The vada sambar was tops the list and so does the pepper chicken. A must try. The naans are freshly made and soft and flavorful. Thank you mohammed for the great service . We appreciate it.

Great South Indian Food. Hyderabad represent! We had a blast eating here today for lunch. VEG Sampler and Veg thali and Idli, everything was amazing. Do yourself a favor and explore the great dishes of 🇮🇳 at Satkar Cuisine. Not a robot just a huge fan of their food. Thanks again for an amazing lunch!

Ordered food for pickup. Employee was polite and very easy to understand on the phone. Restaurant was clean and inviting. Would like to dine there next time. Prices were reasonable. I was in and out of the restaurant in two minutes with my food. Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Korma were both delightful and as expected. Naan was warm, fresh, and delicious. Rice was perfect. I appreciate the way everything was nicely packaged. Great experience, will come back again.

Horrible restaurant, Doesn’t even taste like pure South Indian food, worst service and worst quality food. There are far better South Indian restaurants than this. 👎👎👎

This is great food! Super flavorful! I'm married into an India family, traveled around in Asia, and this is just great real food! The atmosphere feels like visiting a family that cooks amazing food for you. The food tastes so real and great!

I saw a negative review below and coincidentally, I had pretty much what she had and my opinion is the opposite...!! This used to be Udipi before and the Sambar was like water. They have rectified it and chutney was great. A very pleasant experience and I will be back to try the non-veg offerings..!!! P.S. I'm South Indian....😁

Excellent food! Great, friendly staff. My wife has traveled the world and come to love Indian cuisine. She's always been afraid to take us for dear that it would be a bad experience and it would not introduce us to singing she loved. This place nailed the aromas and flavors she remembered from trips to India and London. From the Chicken 65 appetizer to the Ginger Chicken, Chicken Jalfrezi and the Tandoori Mixed platter to the Rose ice cream for dessert... Everything was amazing.

Brilliant place, so authentic that you forget that you are in Tampa. As for service, they have one lady who is the hardest worker that I've ever seen in my life. Just go they're to see how hard she works with a smile that never goes away. I offered to help her clean tables and remove dishes, I mean in reverse order, but she wouldn't let me. I hope they pay her in gold. She deserves it. The food is superb. I ate the South Indian stuff and got transported back to Chennai, Bangalore and Trivandrum...take your pick. Need I say more? No. Just go there and you will be as speechless with delight as I was. And don't forget to say hello to they lady and make sure you give her a BIG tip.
