Foods are Okey. Garden is quite nice. It feels you like you are in one of Baverian Beer Gardens however its never crowded (at least I did not see). Which is a good thing during Corona times anyway. Waiters and waitreses are very kind and friendly.

Location is so fine and familiar. All personnel are friendly and gentle. We tried 2 different kind of soups and they were fine in a cold day in Hungary. The second dishes were really so much, above all the fried chicken with liver and fries with boiled rice. It was delicious adding tabasco n ketchup. Hungarian beer Soproni draft is good. Expresso cafè is acceptable (being italian) and the total price is good, €25/30 for 2 persons. We ll back to taste all other dishes

This place is a scam, we ordered looking over the reviews and nothing was at the level. The portions were super small, the quality was not at the top and the price is not fair. In my goulash soup there was almost no meat. Picture attached. At least the service was nice, the guy serving was nice and super available. Also the dessert was disappointing us.

Very nice traditional restaurant with delicious food and good service.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Western Hungary. It is located in one of the most beautiful cities in Hungary in the historic center. The food is delicious, creative yet maintaining traditional flavors and Hungarian motifs. The restaurant is spacious, modern, clean and the service is fantastic. English and German arent a problem. They are very child friendly, accommodating even my finicky child. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a good place to eat in Sopron.

Not very clean, shower was dirty as well and smelled Staff cant speak a word in english, cant make up their mind about breakfast... on the reservation it was 8AM, then the checkin guy tells us 9AM, then the next morning at 8:20 they tell us it will be 8:30 which of course was not enough time to prepare it. Luckly city center is very close and we had an awesome breakfast and coffee nearby.

We ate at the restaurant. The food was great but the place was empty and we had two servers which made things awkward sometimes. Also the Caesar salad had all sorts of ingredients that don't belong in it.

Have to say that the waiter spoiled the show last night. He was polite and welcoming at the beginning. He guided us through the menu. When the bill arrived I've asked whether the service is included. He said no, so I decided to tip then. The usual 10%. When we left I looked at the bill and realized that the service was included and it was 10%. So, I gave him literally 20% in total and it feels like robbery. Not saying the food wasn't worth it, it was actually. Not the best one, but quite OKish, I would say. But he tried and take advantage of us being foreigners. That explains my rating. Be aware.

Fantastic food and great service. Also very interesting to learn about the ice cellar and see it while eating. Highly recommend the celery steak with risotto! Unique, delicious, and vegan.

Amazing location a stone throw away from the buzzing old town. The room was spacious and comfortable, the staff was very polite and helpful. All in all, an excellent place to stay.

Nice decor, reasonably good service but just about mediocre food. They served soggy french fries and a “cottage cheese dumpling” that was made of semolina with only a hint of cottage cheese. All that at an over-average price range. Nothing like it used to be. This was our last time here.

Excellent service, great vegan food

Very nice accomodation for reasonable price near to main square. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rich and tasty breakfast, parking available next to accomodation. We recommend to everyone to book this accomodation.

The restaurant delivers no longer the quality it did a few years ago. The food doesn't taste good. Overpriced, the service doesn't make an effort, is unfriendly and doesn't understand German or English or doesn't want to understand. Pity but in the future I will avoid Jegverem.

It was relatively affordable for two nights ate one of the tastiest Salami pizza. They could do better on Breakfast and having more people who can speak English or German. That was my challenge but it finally worked out.

The food is not so great when it comes to the taste, only the names are catchy. Also we got an overdoer eager beaver waiter who became too much, finally somewhat rude and irritated. Overall good but not great experience.

The main dishes, desserts and lemonades were excellent, the service was great as well. The prices were completely reasonable for the quality served. If we'll come back to Sopron, we will certainly visit again.

Food was good, nothing fancy but.. As tourists we were surprised that no one in the staff spoke a word in English 🤷‍♂️

Food was great but the service was sub-par. The waitress didn't pay attention to our order and missed one of us. She kept her back towards the customers and was more interested in her phone and flirting with the bar staff.
