Lovely 3 star hotel in lovely wooden area. Lovely and patient staff (last minute booking for a large group of 20+ people). Nice facilities i.e spa treatments, swimming pool, jacuzzi, gym etc. Even had an indoor play area for younger kids and a park outside. Rooms a bit dated but OK for needs. Balcony with view of woodlands and hotel grounds. Stayed for one night and dinner and breakfast was included in price. Not much variety if you're vegetarian/vegan for meals apart from fruits and salads. Despite this, wouldn't mind staying again. Great family hotel. Note this hotel would be rated 4 star if in UK. Update: please be wary if you are not a native speaker that the invoices are not in English. Please ask the receptionist to translate or translate yourself using Google translate. On checkout, we were asked to pay tourist tax which I found odd as this should usually be paid on checking in or included in the price based on my previous experiences of staying in Europe. When I reviewed my invoice that I received on checking in and translated it, it appears that this "tourist tax" was already included in the price. This has left a bad taste to this an otherwise good hotel. Hence, I have changed my stars allocation to reflect this.

Great Hotel for a long weekend in incredible forest area, with spa and pool and great Hungarian food. And not to forget children's playroom inside and playground just outside.

We stayed here only for one night, but everything was really nice. :) although it’s not the most modern hotel I’ve been to, I don’t have anything to complain about. Everyone was nice and kind, wellness zone was small but it was enough, food was good, there were lot of variants for dinner and breakfast and also, the afternoon soup wasn’t just soup but there was also something to eat:) Prices were okay too and the place was cozy, quiet and comfortable:)

Staff are very friendly and helpful! Food is really good too! You get a buffet breakfast, a small lunch of soup and a second course, and a buffet dinner at night time with choices! For the price it is worth it! NEED a bit of update all around, carpets, beds, maybe air con in rooms. Local bus service is cheap and great too.

A very good and interesting hotel. It's one of the good traditional hotel. There is a nice garden that is part of the hotel. Ht hotel is neighbour to a nature reserve. The room are ... Traditional...you get a Vanity kit.. needle and thread 🧵. You need to makre all your clothes are ironed before arriving to the hotel. There is good car park. The balcony that are too exposed to the sunshine have shelter. The mattress type is not my favourite.. it feels like sping mattress. Ni aircon but there is a fan.

Hotel is best buy - for money we paid we are more than satisfied. We stayed for one night with family. Dinner and Breakfast were great. The area is peaceful and quiet. The hotel i not a luxury one, but its fine. Pool is big enough for a swim. Recommendations...

I have mixed feelings from the hotel. positives: The price includes breakfast and dinner. Lunch is served. Lots of fresh fruit and many kinds of meat. The food is great. The staff was professional. Hotel is older but everywhere was clean. Wiffi is free and also parking. negatives: Very small room 2 adults 2 children under 5 years. Next to the bed on the floor was laid something like a mattress. Nowhere I have seen such an extra bed. Very bad solution. That was the worst room we've ever visited. There was not any place in  room to movement. The blanket was dressed in duvet-cover-  the blanket rolled up -it was useless. Wellness is very small. Pool with cold water, two saunas and bubble bath. For such a big hotel very bad wellness

Everything perfect. Good food, service, position, pool and spa. Our room panorama was 20 km of woods. We'll come back surely if we'll be in the area

Had a great family break at this hotel. The staff is very friendly and the buffet style restaurant was everyone's favourite. The kids loved the playground, playroom, chess board and swimming pool. We also visited the Karoly tower which is a short walk from the hotel through the beautiful forest. Highly recommend this hotel if you are planning to stay in Sopron.

Friendly staff. Restaurant has good food and service. It is pet friendly. (Not everyone likes that and would be useful to know beforehand) Room was fine. Bathroom was tiny with small shower with awful curtain instead of cabin with door.

A nice hotel located in one of the best cities in Hungary. The restaurant is cool, they have a gym and a spa area and a huge courtyard with a playground and sun beds. It's surrounded by the forest and there are a lot of beautiful places to visit around the hotel. Suitable for families mostly but would be good for couples as well.

People who like to eat a lot should come to this hotel. The food is very tasty and varied, it has everything. The staff is very friendly and efficient. I don't like the room with cobwebs and small bugs, I don't like small wellness. Therefore 1 rating less. The surroundings are beautiful, the view from the terrace is fantastic.
