We took an hour and fifteen minutes drive through to Mooipoort Golf Course today to try something new and see what else is out there. We had a tee off time for 12h00 and was surprised how busy the course was, the parking was full. We got our golf cart which was pre-booked and headed off to 1st hole. We thoroughly enjoyed our game. Some holes cross over other holes so it may be a bit confusing as balls are landing all around you. But a great 18 hole mashie course. They have a great restaurant and bar with a TV showing the latest sport and a great vibe.

It is a beautiful course, the problem is that some of the people playing there have never Played golf or have little experience in golf rules. The word Fore does not get used as etiquette does not apply here. Play in the week and you will be fine. Take out insurance for weekends and bring some extra old balls especially for the second 9. The food is tasty and the beer is affordable.

Mooipoort is a very nice course on the outskirts of Pretoria. It's a short course with mostly par 3's and some par 4's. The course is small and you should always be on the lookout for stray balls. Greens are well kept and the fairways are decent. For the money yoy pay you get a very nice day of gholf.

Don't bring your own cooler box.. it will be conferscated. The greens need to be rolled, very bumpy. The layout makes for a dangerous game so you need to listen all the time for warning calls. Overall... A unpleasant experience... I will not be playing there again.

Great Mashy Golf Course & venue! Just be on alert for other players & holes nearby. Golf carts are fantastic. Make a booking is best as there is a limit of amount of people. Bringing your own drinks you must use their cooler-box and they must check, comes with ice, no alcohol of-course on course. There are marshals and the restaurant/bar is an amazing pit stop for a nice lunch/drink. The food was really good. All very reasonably priced.

This is a very good place to go to when you just want to eat something or to go play golf. Friendly staff and the price's aren't too bad.

They has the most amazing scenery here. And their breakfast is high quality and the best in the whole area. It will never be a bad thing to dine there. It is my go to place for breakfast

The course doesn't cross holes, but their close vicinity to each other can lead to delays as you sometimes have to wait for golfers on another hole. It's priced very reasonably though, R40 a round is a bargain. Great bar, food is okay.

Well laid out course, greens are well maintained. Venues ìs good. Food and drinks cheap. Nice gathering for good friends to play a few holes or just wile away the time out in the country side. One for my favourites list for sure!

Spent enjoyable dat with my son playing golf Well kept “short” 18 hole course no drivers needed to T. Wel kept and clean facilities. A reasonable drive out on Moloto Road. Fees make it really affordable to enjoy special time with son.

Beautiful Golf course and very well maintained. The food is always excellent and well priced. Friendly Staff is the cherry on the cake for an all round perfect experience.

Dangerous golf course…got hit on the arm with a ball after the group didn’t shout “fore” Restaurant had bad service, we waited over an hour for a meal at the halfway point and food was below average… This is not a golf course for serious golfers since a lot of patrons lack basic golf etiquette

I won't play here again! Service is extremely unfriendly! Greens are not great! And only golf course I have played on where you are not allowed to drive on any grass with the golf cart! Also the playing over other players to the next hole is really concerning! Won't go here ever again!

Lovely Mashy course. For the first time in 2 years I went to play again. I was impressed at the great conditions of the fairways. Some of the greens need attention. But you can see they take care of the course so it will also improve.But overall I was very satisfied with the golf course. Their clubhouse looked like it was recently renovated. The people and staff was very friendly. I got a couple of pars surprisingly which made me happy. I will definitely recommend it.

The rating is for the view and service at the restaurant area. Beautiful view of the course ( not a golfer just passing through for a milkshake. That's a 5 star.) But what I could see of the course it looks really beautiful lawns and well kept greens. Might not meet a Ernie Els there but everyone I saw playing looked happy. ( Maybe not because of their score cards but probably of the pure enjoyment.

Great food and friendly service, their terrace menu is very good value for money.

I loved the scenery, the setting, the service, the golf course and the structured parking. The food however, we're a bit too pricey. The club must have a re-think about food prices.
