My
experience
at
Rahima
Moosa
was
bittersweet.
I
was
41weeks
and
a
few
days
post
date
when
I
was
admitted.
To
be
honest
I
was
expecting
and
prepared
(mentally)
for
the
worst
treatment
from
staff
because
that
is
the
norm
from
public
hospitals
vele.
To
My
surprise,
From
the
sister
in
casualty
opening
a
file
for
me
to
Sister
Lunga(Ward
8
i
think),
who
processed
my
admission
was
so
sweet
and
made
me
laugh
even
to
the
Dr
that
did
my
sonar.
The
sisters
in
Ward
15
(Day
&
Nightshift)
were
amazing.
They
were
so
kind.
Spent
New
Years
Eve
&
day
with
them
and
I
really
didn't
want
to
leave.
They
made
the
pain
seem
bareable
in
a
way.
Forcing
us
to
dance
and
even
making
me
dance
with
my
partner
in
a
circle.
I
hated
it
but
I
wasn't
expecting
to
receive
such
warmth
from
those
women.
I
had
an
emergency
c-section
and
although
I
was
scared
the
head
sister
on
nightshift
calmed
me
down
and
assured
me
everything
will
be
okay.
I
forgot
her
name
kodwa
Thank
you.
Even
the
portors
and
the
anesthesiologist
guy
were
so
sweet.
The
one
porter
even
came
to
check
and
my
and
my
baby
in
Ward
10.
I
only
remember
Sister
Puseletso
(my
favorite)
day
shift
Ward
10,
thank
you
for
making
me
laugh
and
entertaining
me.
Sister
Holmes
on
nightshift
helped
me
&
I
appreciate
it
so
much.
I
can't
remember
everybody's
name
but
I
thank
you
for
your
kindness
and
warmth.
The
day
I
was
discharged,
the
dayshift
staff
had
changed
cz
I
think
the
previous
was
on
leave
or
something.
I'm
very
glad
I
experienced
a
few
hoursof
you
cz
that
team
was
so
rude
and
honestly
the
very
exact
kind
of
treatment
I
was
expecting
before
I
arrived.
We
came
back
a
few
days
later
to
do
our
baby's
birth
certificate
and
the
lady
assisting
us
at
home
affairs
was
so
rude.
We
arrived
just
after
1pm
and
she
gave
us
forms
and
told
us
to
fill
them
out.
Didn't
explain
anything
either.
We
filling
out
the
forms
and
she
comes
rushing
in
at
about
13:35
telling
us
we
are
taking
long
and
she
wants
to
do
finger
prints.
She
starts
shouting
saying
we
aren't
finished
and
her
Transport
is
leaving
at
2pm
and
they
need
to
close
she's
not
going
to
wait
for
us.
mind
you
the
sign
outside
says
they
close
at
15:30.
She
starts
getting
frustrated
and
tells
us
we
didn't
fill
this
in
and
that
in.
I
told
her
we
didn't
even
know
cz
she
didnt
tell
us.she
slams
the
papers
down
tells
us
to
hurry
up
and
takes
her
ink
and
storms
out
to
help
another
couple.
Eventually
we
finish
and
she
comes
to
do
our
prints.
She
ends
up
giving
us
the
other
couples
birth
certificate
instead
of
ours.
When
we
give
it
back
to
her
she
gives
us
attitude
and
gives
us
the
correct
one.
Yoh
we
just
said
thank
you
and
left.
Didnt
get
her
name
but
she
was
an
elderly
lady.
Anyway,
a
few
rotten
seeds
there
and
the
bathrooms
could
have
been
cleaner
(they
were
really
cringe)
but
i
dont
think
thats
the
hospitals
fault
entirely
cz
women
have
a
tendency
of
leaving
their
leftovers
all
over
toilets
anyway.
