Their food is absolutely amazing!! Loved their sushi as well as the fried banana dessert. Our waiter was lovely too.

Ordered some sushi as a starter only to be told 20 later that the sushi chef is not there he is shopping somewhere in the mall. Decided to then skip starters and gi straight to the main meal. All of a sudden 2 minutes befire our main arrived we were surprised by the sushi starter we didn't really want anymore. I ordered a duck dish 540 on the menu for R129. Duck was tender with giod flavor but noodles was bland and portion size was really small. Overall dish was mediocre in flavor but then the big surprise was a prawn shell in my duck dish. I informed the waiter who then went to inform management. No one came to apologize or offer to have my meal remade. This totaly grossed me out just to think about how a prawn shell ended up in my duck dish. Un hygienic and durty kitchens... I will not recommend going here unless you are going to be happy with a starter sized meal thats contaminated with products you didn't order.

I went to Simply Asia Clearwater Mall today and I ordered two 514 and two 509. The one 509 had a small green broken piece of plastic in it. Very angry as the quality of the food has dropped substantially. I will never be eating at this place again!!

Worst service I have ever received. We were notified that our food order would take up to an hour, that was absolutely fine, however, we ordered cooldrinks and this order took 45 minutes to get to us. Patrons who had arrived after us received food and drinks before we received our drinks. Waitress was rude and unapologetic for making us wait. The manager was no better at ensuring our satisfaction. I will never visit this establishment again.

Food is excellent. Service is slow; waiters are either talking to random people. (Not patrons) or on their cellphones, I had to call a waiter every time I wanted to order something. Not once was my friends or I asked if we want other drinks when it's almost finished. Management needs to look into training or re-training theit staff in customer service.

I'm to used to the Branch at Mall of the south Alberton,food was OK here but wont be visiting again.

To be honest the I am not one to complain about food but I swear I was served 2 minute Noodles , all 3 of our dishes looked exactly the same and the portion sizes for the price is astonishingly over priced for very little food. I would not recommend Simply Asia Clearwater to anyone. Being quite a foodie one does know what Thai food actually looks like and it's very colorful, our food was brown. Very disappointed we should have went to Ocean basket and had a great meal. Would not go to Simply Asia Clearwater even if you paid me.

I'd give this place 10 stars if I could, we visited this place twice already and both times we did not experience anything other than great service, amazing food and overall good vibes. Food is delicious,Waiters help choose the perfect if you are not sure or if it is your first time,The food is served in a large portion and it is very delicious they have different options for meat e.g mild,medium.Food is a little bit pricey but you definitely get what you pay for. Depending on what time and day you go food may be served quick or you have to wait as long as 30 minutes

While waiting for our food seated in the eat in area. I witnessed the owner of this store verbally abusing the kitchen staff. He swore at them and told them if they don’t want this job, they can leave. I didn’t enjoy my meal and will never come to this outlet again. Unfortunately these workers need the job and cannot just walk away. I’m still in shock. I will report this to Simply Asia head office and see what happens.

Pathetic service, spent a full hour waiting for food (restaurant was not even full). I have been using this particular outlet for a long time now, today i waited for a full hour and still had to leave with out being served. I even drive past the closest outlet, just so i can make it to this one. What is more disappointing, throughout this whole time, the manager did not bother to come talk to us. You have lost me as a loyal customer. Pathetic.

My wife took us for supper after a hectic day.The place was quite busy and the staff very friendly and helpful.We sat inside which was warm and comfortable.My wife ordered a prawn noodle dish and I ordered a prawn rice dish.The portions were big and delicious.Really had a good time

The food is not bad at all. The problem is that it's a small place and tonight I saw take away orders go before my families food was made. It took ages in a restaurant that had 3 tables. So going there is pointless. Order over the phone rather. It's faster.

We end up waiting a while before the food is served but once you start eating there are no regrets. The sushi is divine and really fresh.

Over priced and portions have shrunk, I will be going to parrots directly across for there sushi 🍣 which is quite a bit better...

One of my favorite branches, always have the freshest ingredients and serve just the right amount of protein with each main. All thier spring rolls are a must.

Really delicious food, the store is small, but that also means a refined on the ball service. The wait staff were excellent and friend. The food was exceptional and the promotion was good, stocking Asian beers, to pair with Asian food. They were also exceptional at maintaining a Covid compliant experience. Probably the best compliance I've seen thus far in a restaurant. Well done.

Wednesday Half Price Sushi!! Get there early as if you are there past 7pm, you are likely to wait about an hour for your sushi, but if you don't mind the wait, it is well worth it! The sushi is beautifully done! No mass production here & everything is very fresh. The chefs and waitrons are super friendly and very hard-working. Really enjoyed our time here, Simo looked after us so well two weeks in a row, thank you :-).

The food is great! But the service is atrocious and forget about the seating and atmosphere. WAITED 50 MINUTES AND GUESS WHAT? Still no food. Order the food and stay at home.

I ordered for the first time from Simply Asia via uber eats. What a disappointment. Their photos look so appealing. You pay a lot of money and then when the food arrives you find out it is not value for money. Dry small pieces of meat. I will never order from them again.

We ordered beef and chicken chowmein and they were good but the beef was not tender as it should be, it was almost as if it was cooked in water. I have had better so there is always room for improvement.

My salmon sashimi was frozen, I've never had salmon with so many bones :(... almost chocked on the first one since I've never come across it prepared with bones. How do you get salmon sashimi soooo wrong???

When as a franchisee you want to leave your business in safe hands, this is the place, got there as they closed 9h30pm tonight, the cashier who was very delightful told us but the lady in the kitchen asked for the order and said np she will make it, I can't explain how delighted I was at your staff, they were so humble and so kind and most so caring, I will also support and recommend them, truly living up to brand value's

Simply Asia Clearwater simply don’t make effort or accommodate orders via Ubereats. The food is stale , the sushi is terrible! Definitely not value for what we got.

Kitchen capacity is too small , waited 50 min for a small order, only got served once by the waiter (yes once), the rest of the service was from the manager, the staff work hard and manager puts in big effort but they are overwhelmed due to capacity, the restaurant works frantically to service takeaway orders to the detriment of seated customers

Whether Mr. D brings it, or you sit inside or outside with shoppers passing. This is a landmark for me. Currently there is no other place that pleases my palate so much as the beautiful, fresh and tasty dishes. I always go for Chilli paste with roasted cashews or their sushi. No matter what you pick on the menu...you can rest assured it will be like a party in your mouth.

My son ordered item 548 Duck... Not sure of the exact meal name but he says that he gives it a 8 out of 10 rating. He enjoyed it a lot. The staff was professional and friendly. Excellent service. Keep up the good work.

Food was terrible! I order the same menu item from other branches all the time and I know exactly what to expect but this branch really missed the plot. Food was incredibly dry, the chicken was almost non-existent and the extra cashews I paid for was nowhere to be seen. I'm EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!
