    Gym company is trying to rip me off. I cancelled my membership over 5 years ago, now they come to me today saying I owe R1400, from where? And they want to blacklist me. I have reported them to my lawyers this is not the first time they do this, they tried it in 2018. They have also called a few of my colleagues demanding money. These people are crooks and need to be closed down.

    Thieves. They will debit months after you stop the gym. Kelly their manager, sooo rude. When you tell them to cancel the debit order they do runarounds and give excuses. They know nothing about customer service. The contact number on the website isn’t even working. There’s nothing ethical about that gym. Rather go to Planet Fitness or Virgin Active if you value your peace of mind.

    Highly DON'T NOT recommend Gym company Randburg Square to anyone - don't join they won't let you go easy. By far the worst ever gym cancelation experience of my entire existence. I do not recommend gym company randburg Square branch to anyone. I had been with gym company randburg square for a little over a year and had relocated to a new area. I went to the gym to cancel my contract but there was load shedding at the time. The cancelation clerk of the branch "Kelly" made me fill in cancelation forms and advised he would load it onto the system when the power came back. Kelly convinced me that instead of canceling my gym membership he would put me on a month to month R99 national membership because my contract was already matured. I accepted because he had retained me as a client. I asked Kelly if there was any cancelation fee but he advised because my contract had already matured I wouldn't be liable for cancelation also because I was now on the R99 month to month contract at the time. After one month of using the R99 membership at a different branch I went back to gym company randburg Square branch to cancel my contract completely, once again Kelly assisted with cancelation and advised I was not liable for any cancelation fees yet again. That was last year Dec 2022. Fast forward to date I am being harassed by gym company randburg Square account department stating that I am on their blacklist and owe them R900. I spoke to accounts department clerk Antonattor Mhlanga telephonically early this year who checked for me on the system and advised the cancelation amount owing was a system error on their side as it wasn't processed correctly and that it would be amended. I emailed Antonattor Mhlanga and politely asked that once amended could I be given feedback via email that everything is cleared. Till this day I have not received an email response from the accounts department clerk instead I keep getting harassed by the gym with calls of me owing a cancelation fee. No matter how many times I explain and have them check I am constantly being harassed and still blacklisted by the gym.

    Cancelling your membership from this gym is a nightmare, I have been trying to cancel since last year October and it’s now September 2023. The level of theft is beyond bearable. I hate every second I spent in the gym, which is mostly twice or four times a month and even that feels like the longest time ever, the only reason I go there is because I can’t just let my hard earned money go to waste. I would personally not recommend this Gym to anyone not even my worse enemy.

    They say you get what you pay for and that is the case with this place. There is no swimming pool or any of those other gym luxuries but you get your R199 worth and more. If you want to work out on a budget this is the place for you but with a great selection of equipment that will cover all parts of your workout regime. The facilities are clean and tidy. If you hate paying for things you don't use anyways (Virgin Active) come to this place.

    I joined the gym few months back and I never went to the gym nor use their equipment I dont even have the tag card now I've relocated and want to cancel my membership they're telling me about cancelation fee which was never discussed with me. They want people to join the gym but they're not honest even the managers. When coming to communication they never reply to the emails and the landline is always off.

    Poor communication and the water is mostly cold on the showers. The cold water is so frustrating, even worse when it's cold outside cause then you think twice about going to the gym yet every month you are debited... I'm already not recommending gym company to any of my contacts.

    This is a cheap Gym so you will save lots of money. They have basic equipment so your fitness needs will be basically met. Treadmills , cycles, weights and all sorts of exercise machines. The Problem is the maintanace of the equipment takes a while. There's no sense of urgency in fixing broken equipment. The classes are led by very passionate instructors , cycling, aerobics etc , you will find your way. There's no swimming pool, unfortunately, but the gym fees are quite low . Car parking is in abundance. You do have a security guard watching cars day and night. But you do have to validate your parking ticket, as you go home , so you do have get out of your car to do that . The security risk of doing that is very very high because ticket validation happens at a very insecure spot. If hijacked, you will be helpless. I don't know why they don't have a validation machine right by the entrance.

    12 phones got stolen in a week including my phone. No action was taken. Absolutely preposterous. I went for a review and they never told me about safety. After my phone was stolen they told me I shouldn't have put in my locker. What they are good at is texting and calling you at the end of the month to tell you that you need to pay as soon as possible.

    DO NOT SIGN WITH THESE GUYS. These guys are going to bless my pockets with the lawsuits I have in store for them 🤗. I signed my lady on a two year contract, if it wasn't her belongings getting stolen, it was sexual harassment to which the gym staff did nothing about. She cancelled her contract but they would "conveniently" lose the paperwork and keep debiting my account, even after the contract had naturally expired, in addition to its cancellation. Their lame excuse is that the manager hasn't signed off the cancellation over the last 4 months, like I need the manager's permission to cancel the service. So I will keep getting debited until the manager signs? Thank goodness for debit reversals. Several reviews here show that they're very dodgy with their cancellation process and keep stealing people's money via unauthorized debits long after clients have terminated their contracts. They no longer have permission to debit my account, and no longer have permission to process my personal information. Some people take it lying down, and some line their pockets for such illegal activity. Guess which one I am 😏

    I've been a member since May, and my experience with this gym has been average, considering my infrequent visits. The equipment functions well, but there was no initial training or support upon joining and I've had to figure everything out on my own or by asking strangers for assistance. The registration process was marred by a rude manager, although the sales staff, especially Zinhle who signed me up, were friendly and helpful. The gym has convenient opening hours. However, the water tastes strange, so it's advisable to bring your own. The bathrooms are well-maintained and offer lockers and showers, though it's wise not to secure valuables like laptops due to past theft incidents (even with a lock to secure it). Parking is available inside the mall, with accessibility via stairs and an occasionally out-of-service lift. For disabled individuals, rooftop parking with a wheelchair ramp is an option. The gym's location in the Randburg CBD area is relatively safe, but caution is advised when leaving at night, as petty crimes and theft can occur. In summary, my few months with this gym have been satisfactory especially 8n terms of affordability and location convenience, but there's room for improvement, particularly in terms of service and customer support. It's crucial to consider the cash-only option to avoid contract cancellation issues if you decide to go month-to-month instead of debit orders.

    Never in my life have I experienced such frustrating customer service when trying to cancel (an already expired) membership! If your membership is coming to an end I would strongly advise that you give them atleast 4 months notice and fill out the form otherwise they will keep debiting you till kingdom come.

    Poor management, this is no exaggeration but absolutely nobody was wearing a mask in the gym, people actually walk in with no mask, not even around their necks. No social distancing at all either. Someone needs to take a look at this place because it is putting people at risk.

    Poor management, i gave them cancelation letter and they said it will be approved once the manager sign it, but the manager never did they continued debiting for 6months and i wasn't going there because i relocated. i went there again to stop the membership they told me the same thing even today they are still debiting and when i talk to the managers they keep on saying that they will call me back and when i call nobody is answering
