I returned an item a week after purchasing it. Much to their dislike, the ladies at the till were more concerned over the price tag that was removed (even though I had kept all tags in the bag) than the actual reason why I returned the item. Unfriendly and could not explain the logic behind the return policy. Note to customers: the return policy says you can return an item within 12 months of purchasing it but the item must be in its "original packaging". Meaning that you can buy an item, not wear it, keep it in its packaging, keep the tags on, but you have a year to decide whether you want to return it or not? Bizarre. I did receive my refund eventually (thank you) but not without leaving the store without my tail in between my legs. Pity.

was assisted very quickly and I was having a no so good Morning. the wet weathers we encounter this month had me looking for a rain cover (I travel to work using public transport) this is a need. Previously bought disposable rain cover ponchos but what I was looking for was the Poncho Rucsack Rain Cover.

Tried to return some socks. Did not have my size so the staff at the store ordered them to be delivered. Only one pair out three was delivered, I was meant to receive a refund for the other two according to the email. Waited 10 days for the refund to process as instructed by the email but no refund had been received so I had to phone and follow up, and only now are they asking for my bank details to process the refund. Terrible experience. Would love to know what would have happened if I hadn't followed up

Cape Union Mart is a great shop and place. It is worth popping-in or stopping-by. This particular shop is very accessible, has a great layout and you feel welcome and safe. I have been coming to Cape Union Mart for a while and it is always a pleasure. They have a wide variety of products to choose from. Too many to mention here. I personally enjoy coming here, because I know what to expect and will always find what I am looking for. I am not a fan of shopping, since it can be a time-consuming and tedious exercise, but the friendly staff and atmosphere here, make it a pleasure to be here. Whether you are browsing or looking for something you need, or to find someone a gift, Cape Union Mart is a great shop to visit. Navigating to here was easy with Google maps, and I will be happy to pop into any other Cape Union Mart branch as well, since they are very consistent in their product merchandising and the service. experience you can expect. Needing a pair of binoculars with very specific requirements, I telephoned this store. Keenan from the store researched my requirements and determined the best brand to meet my needs. Because it was a brand not stocked, he referred me to where I could get them. He was spot on. Excellent service, securing my future business.

I went to Cape Union Mart in Rosebank Mall today to look for a jacket. The shop maybe had two other customers in while I was in there. The young lady who I approached to assist me was not very enthusiastic but did assist. She was phoning around to see if she could get the jacket elsewhere. I said I would return to find out if she was able to find it . As I walked back into the shop she walked out and said nothing to me. She did not leave any info regarding her findings with anyone there knowing I was coming back. Everyone knew what I was waiting for when I came back into the shop but no one could tell me. I am really disappointed with the lack of communication between the staff and the lack of interest shown to any of the customers while I was In there today.

All I can say is WOW!! outstanding service from Cape Union Mart Rosebank. I will only visit this branch from now on even though we live on the East Rand. The service from Miguel and staff was super friendly, extremely helpful and patient. Miguel helped us choose some warm jackets for our Europe trip and he helped us pick out the perfect ones! Thanks for being so patient as we are really indecisive! I have never been treated 5 stars like this in any retail store. Thank you and keep up the excellent work.

You just can't not to like CUM. Products, prices and varieties all withing the CUM standards since ages. Staff always there. Some new staff need training I think as they have no insight what so ever regarding some products (esp Tech)

I had rated it 5 star.. Changed it due to the company's stand with genocide. Free all countries abused by the greedy genocidal companies.
