The services in Stockholm Arlanda airport are destitute in some aspects. No hot water in the wash rooms in the cold weather. Entrance in terminal 5 are intentionally narrowed from outside so as people go to fast track and pay extra service charges although there are multiple checkpoint internally. Airport Staff is also not cooperative.

Had to wait in line 30 MINUTES to pass security at terminal 5 even though not all of the security scanners were open!! Nearly missed my flight. Many people in line with me did miss their flights. Shame on Arlanda. Airport is also poorly designed. LOTS of walking going and no bus to terminal 5 . Arriving here at terminal 2 was efficient though. Come early, this is not an organized place.

Good, but could be better. Good tap water, so no worries about buy expensive water in bottles. But in general this airport was crowded and lacking places to rest and sit. Security was slow. A lot of places to eat but all were expensive (what is normal in an airport, I guess) but also with very bad reviews. As I was traveling with my pregnant friend it seems to risky to eat at those places. At around 9pm many of those places were closed. As for my pregnant friend this airport wasn't that comfortable - uncomfortable toilets placement, some seating areas too cold and dirty. And as I understood terminal 5 is under construction. So, this airport is good, but hopefully it will get better.

The airport was a bit empty. There was not much flight. ☕️Coffee shop is open. It was lucky for us to grab our breakfast. Now … it seems, They use only Terminal 5 which connected to SL train 🚆. It was convenient to come by train but we have to pay 120 SEK per person extra to get in the airport. You can pay at the counter when you are coming in the airport (they accept only card/no cash). It was not including with normal train.

👎Super expensive and crowded cafes, almost everything is closed after 7. So if you are stuck there for long and have possiblility to leave - go to Stockholm with Arlanda Express. It costs though. 👍👎 If your flight is delayed for long - you can go to reception and get some food coupons.

The airport is typical for Schengen arrivals/departures. For those with perfumes/liquids beware , they accept MUCH SMALLER liquid see-through bag. Be prepared. Border police will ask you many questions ( on a British passport) and try to get off the plane as one of the firsts. Otherwise, you might wait for a longer while. Departurewise - range of shops including duty-free alcohol and cigarettes. Things in Sweden are more expensive than in UK.

It's one of my favourite airports. The design is very typical of Scandinavian, simplistic but very charming. It contains all the modern standards of a world class airport. Easier access of transportation and good seating arrangement. The airport also provides free Wi-Fi, charging stations, and comfortable seating areas for those waiting for flights. The immigration and customs process is usually efficient and well-managed, although it can sometimes be crowded during peak travel times. One downside is that the airport can be quite busy, which can make it challenging to find seating.

I recently used the T 5 and it was good. Staffs were courteous and helpful. They were guiding the passengers clearly with the procedure like self checkin and self baggage drop. There are plenty of food sign boards to walk around without issues. Play area for kids are really good because kids gets cranky sometimes and they always need a play area.

Perhaps swedish are good with ikea, but managing an airport is ABSOLUTELY not in their capabilities. I travel once per month, and things are getting worse and worse. Now, they don't let in 3 hours before your flight, in clear contrast with what the airliners asks (Lufthansa says to allow minimum 3 hours!). So, i see the incompetence continue, the management (which it is an euphemism) creates more problem. Now the people simply accumulate in other places, paying people to tell you you have to wait. I can imagine this people could be payed for something different. Furthermore, the taxes are among the higher and let's be honest, it is just an average airport. A shame for swedish

This airport is little bit small in comparison with other international airport. The customer service was good.I waited for long in my belt to get my luggages. They dropped the luggage for all little bit late. But that's okay. There are separate terminals for domestic flights as well as international flights.Since I went at the day of Christmas, the place was little bit crowded.English boards were very much less.Better you can use translator. The prices of the things inside airport shops were little bit expensive as usual. You can access bus from the airport itself. The train station is little far from the airport.Better you can take bus or cab. There are machines where you can take bus tickets by own. The place was well maintained. The customer service was also good.

First time here and got an ordinary experience. I followed a smooth check-in process and a good security check. Airport architecture is also quite good. To go to and from the city center, you can go by train or bus.

The design is very typical of Scandinavian, simplistic but very charming. I stayed at the Radisson Blu Airport Hotel, which offers a complementary shuttle service from/to airport terminals 3-4 times an hour through the day. It’s very convenient. There are subways and shuttles going to downtown area with a very reasonable price. The airport is well organized and managed 👍👍 You can also buy a local SIM card for mobile data and phone connection. Very handy! Cheers!

We were at the airport Terminal 5 on the 21st May 2023 (Saturday). It's a very busy airport, and the facilities need to be expanded to handle the no. of travelers . It took a while to pass through the security check, and the waiting area to board the plane is small to handle arrival and departure. You should consider coming to the airport 3 hours earlier before your flight. The tax rebate counters are not clearly specified, and clear signed boards should be used. It's important that you have the items on hand when you claim for tax rebate, and they will check each item against receipt. No item = No Tax Rebate🤑😵‍💫😢

Huge but comfortable. Nice shops and helpful staff. If you are an airport sleeper, this is a good opportunity.

Clean, spacious, good food, happy service personnel, good weather, ... What more do you need? Big plus was a restaurant which offered excellent quality food at reasonable (airport) prices and managed to provide an atmosphere of calm in an otherwise hectic airport. We only used the airport for transit, but our 7-month-old thoroughly enjoyed the children's playground.

Good food options, bad security process. It was so messy. I was taking a flight to JFK and it was chaotic. We had to go through passport control, then in a second line they asked us questions, then in a third line they checked our boarding pass and passport again. They didn’t have any signage to make it clear. You couldn’t go through certain lines if you checked in online. Randomly, Delta 1 people skipped in front of the second passport line. I’m fine with people paying more for things like that, but it was a very unorganized process.

A nice airport, but there is a lot more to improve. High quality free drinking water from the lake and a playground for children are really super. Baggage handling services and security checks at Terminal 4 (old machines compared to the ones I saw in Helsinki Airport) were quite slow.

The airport is clean. Easy to navigate. The Arlanda express is super expensive in my opinion. And when you take the normal train you have to pay the airport entry fee 🥴. Insane but okay.

Only saw the internal transfer section from one gate to another, under going a refurbishment so as a result it was a little noisy and the queues were longer than normal. Remember this is an entry point to the EU if you have come from outside so ensure you have the right paperwork and do not bring in some foods eg cooked meets.

Well organized, plenty of shops and dining options. Gate areas were pretty quiet, which was a welcome change from most airports. Several transport options into the city center & elsewhere.

Clean, fast service ,friendly staff. Really disappointed with BA lounge not opening until 11am. Be mindful if you are on an early flight

Wow! This was the worst airport experience since COVID started, but possibly the worst ever. Imaginary controls are introduced for no reason - for a flight from Berlin - endless queues everywhere (see photo), and worst of all: toilets with 1 cabin. Never again.
