We
arrived
in
the
middle
of
the
day
from
nowhere
and
without
reservations,
neither
for
a
room,
nor
for
a
seat
at
the
dinner
table.
But
thanks
to
the
eloquent
receptionist
this
was
not
a
problem
and
we
were
directed
to
the
Countess
Cronstedt
suite,
a
very
pleasant
place,
all
for
ourselves,
in
a
yellow
villa
with
hammocks
in
front
of
our
veranda.
This
traditional
inn
in
Bergslagen
is
also
where
the
Swedish
cook
university
is
situated
and
this
explains
the
attention
to
detail
for
the
food
that
is
served,
both
at
breakfast
and
dinner,
that
were
of
excellent
quality.
The
wine
list
is
filled
up
with
the
classic
French
Clarets
and
Burgundies,
certainly
a
good
investment
for
the
owners.
The
clientele
during
our
visit
belonged
mostly
to
the
Swedish
upper
middle
class,
that
you
will
find
in
various
posh
retirement
homes
during
other
periods
of
the
year.
Recommended
for
the
moderately
wealthy
that
likes
a
quiet
afternoon
at
the
bar
or
playing
boule.
