The pizza is really good here. The service for pick up can be a bit slow but did I mention that the pizza is good. We got the 1/2 pepperoni 1/2 veggie and really enjoyed it. My wife also got their spaghetti and she really enjoyed it. Call ahead for to go orders and If you are quoted 30 minutes allow for 45. Enjoy!

Greeted, noon tyme on Sunday, Busy, Seated right away, ( no outside drinks allowed) Server got my soda, Waitress took order, 15 min later pizza arrived. Nice ambience an music.

I was in a rush heading to work but I figured it wouldn’t take too long but Italian food usually takes a while. I chose the small lasagna, and it didn’t take too long. Thank goodness I didn’t tip because remember… this was to go. Most places put plastic silverware and napkins in to go food. This however was not the case with this place. But I always have my trusty camping spoon/fork when things like this happen. They also gave me bread (a side item), and I didn’t ask for it. I also made the pictures of the bread black/white to show how sad it looked. This bread 🥖 didn’t have garlic.. or garlic salt.. no butter melted inside or on it. It was the most boring loaf I’ve ever seen, and I tried it but it wasn’t great. Though, I finally ate the lasagna and it wasn’t too bad. Great balance of sauce and cheese, but it didn’t seem authentic. Maybe I’ll have a different experience dining in and having a pizza.

Their pizza is awesome! The lassagna delicious! A place to return and enjoy their variety of food.

Enjoy coming to this restaurant in Santee. Plenty of parking and in a nice area not too busy and crowded. We came during lunch hour and it was busy but our server, Cheryl, was amazing and attentive. We ordered the medium pizza with Meatball and pepperoni along with antipasta salad, Buffalo wings, and ice cream for the kiddos. Overall very satisfied with the food and service. A great place to enjoy some good Italian food 😋

Dinner was awesome. linguine And clams were awesome. Came with salad and soup.

Filippi's Pizza is absolutely the best pizza EVER! The Little Italy Filippi's on India St. near downtown is the original store which has a small Italian store for cheeses, breads, seeds, and many more. Santee store is always hopping and although the take out always has a few waiting on their order, it gets handled quickly and you better have been working out because that Pizza weighs heavy. A one-slice meal and family antipasto lasted for two days. The Pizza was even better the next day, while others pizza is a disc of cardboard!

Worse experience I’ve ever had at this Filippi's in Santee. I come almost every Saturday with my parents and my 3 kids. The “manager” I don’t know her name is ALWAYS so rude always has the worse attitude. My little one likes to run around and be a little crazy as kids do and today we visited the restaurant and the so called manager said can you come get your kid she’s always running around always getting in the way. She said to me that I never watch my kids which was the rudest thing I’ve ever heard. I’m always watching my kids. My dad got into an argument with her. She went ahead and told us she doesn’t need our service we don’t need to go there anymore. Mind you. We go eat here every Saturday. But after this. We will never ever go there again I would never recommend this restaurant to anybody esp anybody with kids. Horrible service! Worse manager I’ve ever seen! Who tells customers we don’t need your service. I’m pretty sure the owners wouldn’t be too fond of that. Horrible

We had been steady customers for years, yet have avoided this location since the onset of COVID, the quality of their food just hadn't been up to their prior standards. So happy to say that under new management staff they have done a complete turnaround and are back to the Filippi's we love and had longed for. Well done and Thank you!

Used the Bar area for a Wedding reception and everything went great. Food was more than enough to serve 40 or more. Maybe could have used more than one waitress though, the one we had worked her butt off to help make my friends wedding day special. And everything was done in timely manner so the everything went smoothly. Definitely a great experience.

This place is amazing. The amount of cheese and pizza sauce make one fantastic pizza.

Ordered through door dash. For maybe the 5th time. Each time we get less and less service and product. This time we got beef ravioli when we ordered cheese. We got no cheese or butter for bread or red pepper flakes. I’m sorry, but as a life long customer of your restaurant, we expect more. Door dash offered us a $2 credit. So when you’re wondering why your weekly costumers are disappearing, now you know. Never ever again will we order this way. And like I said it was the fifth time with an issue. We’re DONE. good luck.

Italian cuisine is my last choice when dining out. However, when in the mood for a pizza, can't go wrong. The cheese pizza is amazing. My rating is based on pizza alone as I've not tried any of the other dishes.

Reserved here for our team dinner. Party of about 35-40, including 11 baseball players. The staff was very accommodating, especially reserving the day before, extremely professional and friendly. It was busy (Friday night), and like everywhere, limited staff. Our waiter worked his butt off and was literally jogging to get our orders and his other tables taken care of. The food was delicious, atmosphere was good, and price was very reasonable. I highly recommend and will definitely return if out in Santee again. Thank you so much for being so accommodating, it really meant a lot to us.

The best comfort food. The Spaghetti Marinara and lasagna are so so good when you want something warm and hearty.

Except for being sat where all customers walk through to be seated in the main dining area, the food was alright/sloppy, the server was nice, the cooks stuff pepperoni in chunks instead of spreading evenly. The location in Chula vista has better quality, more friendly atmosphere.
