Was my first time ever doing an escape room, Gigi was a fantastic game master. And loved the wizard escape room. Was fun figuring out things and seeing how it all unfolded was great. And our group ended up doing a back to back where Parker took over to do the second and he did awesome! Thank you for a great first time experience!! Definitely recommend this place.

We absolutely loved it! Brought our kids here (14 and 10) and they had a great time with the Pet room. They were able to complete it and couldn't stop talking about it. We were delighted they had an opening for the Wizard room the same day so we did that too and it didn't disappoint! Staff were amazing too. They were so friendly and were there to nudge us along when we needed help through speakers. We will definitely be back to try the other rooms. Thank you for the great experience!

My family and I did the torture chamber and loved it! We are amateur escapees and on a scale of 1-10, we'd rate it a 5 or 6. So not too difficult. Our game master, Gigi, was awesome. Super attentive and hilarious. There were some complications here and there with some equipment not working but she straightened it out quickly. We made it out with more than 16 minutes on the clock. Would definitely come again. 😊

We had a great time in the Pet Snatched room! Our family has been to numerous escape rooms and this was our first successful escape! We had so much fun and will be returning. Shout out to game master Will, he was a great host!

I came to Exit Strategy Games with 4 other NUMAs. We were greeted at the door by Tim who informed there would be a short wait while our room w as getting ready. Next we met our game expert named Sammy! He was funny and patient and kind. He explained the game and we managed to escape in 43 short minutes. We will definitely be back!! Thank you so much!

The Krampas escape room was a blast, an hour went by like it was 10 minutes. Michael was extremely friendly and helpful, but not too forthcoming with information so that we could figure things out on our own. Michael only gave us clues when it was clear we were lost, and confirmed some of our answers we came up with, but it never felt like he was giving us answers, only guiding us. The room design was very festive creepy at the same time and there were tons of puzzles to solve. It's a great feeling when you finish all of the puzzles, they were very satisfying to complete. I would recommend to everyone to try one of these escape rooms at least once, you'll have a great time. We're definitely going back for another room someday.

My husband and I were 1st timers in the world of escape rooms. In addition to having a great team, Exit Strategy Games exceeded our expectations. Michael set the bar very high for being an outstanding game master. I do feel we'd still be in the room if it wasn't for experienced gamers being with us. I look forward to my next escape room anyway. Great afternoon!

Great family fun. Kids 6 to 12 years old Kids participated throughout the escape room. The kids love the multiple rooms and puzzles. The kids want to come back again. Gigi was a great game master!

Went here for my brother’s birthday. We played the Pet Snatchers game. Clean facility, well-designed escape room, and our game master, Gigi, was great. One thing I will say is that the room we played was a bit easy with 7 people. On the website the difficulty level was listed at medium, but everyone who played agreed that they didn’t feel 100% satisfied or challenged by the experience.

I did my very first escape room here 10 years ago. Came back today and I was happy to see the great experience has not changed. We escaped from the wizard school escape room and had a blast clearing the fun puzzles. Gigi was an excellent game master. She knew when to chime in when anything needed an extra try or when something needed to be held down a second longer. This was a great experience!

Did the wizard room and had a great experience. Our game hosts, Tim and Parker were terrific! We’ve done a lot of escape rooms all over and this was one of the best. The room was well done and clean, props/decorations were on point. The game hosts were informative, interactive and in character, which always makes it a more enjoyable game play. We’ll definitely be back!

Some of our girls from softball wanted to do a fun team activity they choose Exit Strategy. What a great place for team building and great fun. Michael was their game master with Chris and Will chiming in when needed. What a team!! The girls had a blast and stayed for a second round. Success forsure!! Also I want to include what a clean facility from the floors, surroundings and bathrooms, noticeably clean. All the props and rooms are very nice. We will definitely recommend.

Will was super cool and took really great care of our party. There were eight of us and one was running late and he was kind and hospitable while we waited. His clues were awesome and he really helped make it a great night! The pics he took turned out adorable too👍

A group of 6 of us did the Krampus room and we had a blast! Chris was an awesome game master, super personable and funny. He really made the experience that much more enjoyable. Would definitely come back to try the other rooms.

Had a great time at exit strategy games! We signed up for spy vs spy. It was challenging, but still fun! The staff was very accommodating to our group. We had game master Chris, who was engaging and a great lead to the experience! Would 100% recommend!

We played the Krampus escape room and it was amazing! The puzzles were intricate but solvable with teamwork and lots of communication. Our game master Tim also made the experience ten times more enjoyable. He’s fun, enthusiastic, and incredibly welcoming to players. We hope to return and play their other rooms soon.

If you’re ever in Elk Grove, Ca. And want to try an escape room, give Exit Strategy Games a try. We were in town and thought we’d give them a try. Let me tell you, the price was worth every minute. The room we were in was great, the clues were challenging and fun. We had no idea we had chosen the most difficult room but we managed to solve it with almost two minutes left. Tim, our game master made it really fun for our family. He was thorough, funny, helpful, and friendly. We will definitely come back again when we’re in town! Thanks again, TIM!

Tim is the most awesome gamemaster! He makes it super fun for both kids and adults. We had to return for a second time and requested Tim! He makes it a complete experience from the time you arrive to the time you leave. We will definitely be back soon and look forward to seeing Tim.

Took the family (2 kids) here tonight for our first ever escape room experience, and we will certainly be coming back! We did the Pet Snatching game and it was the perfect mix of challenge for both kids and adults. We also had 2 great game master hosts. Shout out to both Chris and Gigi. They were welcoming and entertaining. Their genuine personality sure made to the experience! Thank you!

My group of 5 did the Spy vs. Spy and it was very fun! We finished with 10 minutes to spare and my friends and I loved the whole experience. 10/10 definitely recommend! The dude Dathan was pretty good with his spy character and made the experience fun!

Took my cousins to their first escape room. We loved the wizard theme and details of the room, Celidah was great and really helpful. It wasn’t as hard as I was expecting, but I’m also not totally sure we would have gotten out under and hour without her hints. We did though and it was so much fun!

I’ve been to Exit Strategy 3x now and it’s always a great time! Today my friends and I did the Pet Snatched room and our game master Chris was amazing and very fun to work with! He was extremely welcoming and entertaining. We will definitely be back once there are updated rooms!

This was an excellent experience. I highly recommend it for families or a group of friends. Dathan was our “hint giver” as we named him and he was encouraging and helped make the experience a fun one. I left feeling like Elk Grove should be very proud to have something like this in our community. It was a ton of fun. You do feel pressure to solve so be prepared for that. We made it with 17 seconds left on the clock hahaha.

We had so much fun today with this escape room! The puzzles were challenging but fun and super interactive. We did the Spy vs Spy room which I definitely recommend. It required communication and teamwork BUT you also can't trust anyone either because there's a spy! We were able to escape the room with 6 people - which I think is just the right number for this room. This room was kind of small so more than 6 might have been too crowded. I love how they allowed private booking so we were able to just have the room to ourselves and have some family bonding. I've done other escape rooms before and it just gets awkward when you get locked in a room with strangers. Tim was such a great game master - very funny and energetic. Hope you get your new mic! Shout out to HAILI the smart, sassy AI system who had the best commentary. We got a little souvenir from this game too which was nice. I'll definitely come back to try the Wizard one and maybe if I'm brave enough, the scary Christmas one!

Love this place! I have done 3 rooms here and have loved them all! They all flow so well. Very well made. The first room we did here we got the owner (I believe) and she was wonderful!!! The last two times we have had Tim help us and he’s great!!! Such great energy and so kind! Can’t say enough good things! I will be back to do the other two rooms for sure!

This was the first escape room I'd ever done. My friend had done a few before. We chose "Pet Snatched" and really enjoyed it. Game Master Parker was an excellent guide - gave us only the hints we really needed in just the right amount of time. We still had to figure a lot out. We probably would have needed less hints if there were more of us. In the end, we figured it all out and got out in just under time. The rooms were well-laid-out, with just enough red herrings to keep it interesting. I'm curious if there were any "hidden Easter eggs" that we missed? If not, that could be a suggestion - in case people finish early, you could tell them that there are X number of Easter eggs still to find if they want to keep looking? Great first experience. Would recommend to friends and am looking forward to coming back!

One of the best if not the best escape room in Sacramento region. Tim was the most amazing host and will be a large reason why I will definitely be returning. Gigi has the voice of a guiding angel that was greatly appreciated in our times of need. Will definitely be recommending this place to friends and family. Thank you for having us! Happy New year!

My family loved the pet snatched escape room! The clues were fun and family friendly. The room was decorated so cute to match the theme. The room was large enough for us all to enjoy. Will is awesome and his chill personality also made our visit enjoyable! We will return!

First time player and what a blast! I highly recommend this as a group or family activity. Our office made this part of our holiday party and It gave us alot to talk about at dinner. Shout out to Will for the helpful hints and gentle guidance. It’s possible Fluffy would still be in captivity today!

Will was our game master, easy going and really nice. This was our first time and he stepped in and gave us clues, when we got really stuck. Game was fun and made ya think, made it out with 23 seconds to spare.

Just finished the pet snatched escape room with my boyfriend and had a blast. Definitely a very good beginner room. Our guide was Tim and he was very helpful and charismatic, any time I pressed the hint button within 3 seconds we got a perfect hint. Definitely a fun first experience and will definitely come again.

This was our first escape room and it was so much fun! We made it out just in time. We did the torture chamber and it was perfect for two people. Game Master Will was awesome. He really got us excited and helped when we needed it.

I have always wanted to visit an escape room but had no idea what to expect. My boys took me here on Mother’s Day and we had so much fun! We did the Missing Pet room and WOW… we loved it so much! We are hooked! Gigi was amazing, she was excited for us when we beat the clock and escaped “found the missing pets” even if we had to ask for a clue or two! We are definitely coming back and I highly recommend this room for a fun family outing!!!
