Delicious food. Great service. I can not fault it. We had the raciones of ham croquetas, pepper salad,russian salad and huevos rotos. All divine! We will be going back for more absolutely!

Recommend it if you are in the area. Great restaurant/bar in Guadarama. It is cosy and the waiters are delightful. Not recent restaurant, ~40 years old, and the staff members have not changed ever since its opening. Their specialities are stakes and croquetas. The vibe is amazing. Price is average considering the the meat is HQ and it is cooked on live ashes. One has the option to stay downstairs near the counter, this is the bar area. No chairs in the bar area, so you will be standing up, however it is the place to be if you are interested in a beverage and an appetiser. Moreover, on one corner of the bar room (entrence room) is the wood fuelled furnace, where the chef can be seen cooking the stakes and all other kinds of meats offered in the menu. If you wish to eat a plate from the grill (furnace) it is best to ask for a table upstairs or in collateral rooms to the bar. It is recommended to reserve table. The location is not easily encountered, it is best to us a gps. The Parking/empty area in front of La Chimenea is available for clients.

I came here recommend by a friend. I only tried the croquettes as I was told they were very good. They have a selection of different flavours, some of them vegetarian. I tried the cheese croquettes and the onion croquettes and they did not disappoint. My friends tried other flavours and they loved them too. I'll be definitely coming back. Highly recommended.
