I stumbled upon this gem while wandering around the neighbourhood near the train station. I just had arrived in Barcelona after having flown from Toronto so I was pretty tired at that time. However all the tapas and the drinks I tasted here fueled me up perfectly and, with the amazing service from the owner Hugo, it made such a great start of my vacation in Spain. Hugo made sure that I get what I like, food or wine, and all his recommendations were on point, I couldn't be happier! He speaks great English, which I was thankful for because I speak little Spanish let alone Catalan. He's from Southern France so he offers nicely catered French tapas. Each one of the tapas I tried was very good, I could tell it was of good quality and the natural wines he offered were lovely. I was hoping to go back after I had returned to Barcelona at the end of my trip, but I couldn't locate it on the map for some reason so I lost the chance 😔 but one month later now I somehow managed to find it through Google Maps (i had to revisit my search history)! Considering how much effort I'm putting in just to leave a review, it's obvious how much I enjoyed this place. so when you're in the area, do yourself a favour and visit this place! Highly recommended.

This place is a real gem! It’s perfect in absolutely everything, combining distinctive natural wines (celler 9+ 6ē is my choice), delicious food (foie gras montaditos is a top) and great atmosphere. Recommended to all wine lovers and to everybody who enjoys food not simply eats.

Cool little bar with amazing homemade food. The salmon was to die for. And the owner is super friendly with excellent taste in wines. He knows his stuff. Dj’s playing at the weekend 👌🏽

The best place in Barcelona, period. The place is as cozy as lively. The food is perfect, the wine selection is perfect, the music is perfect. Perfection, I tell you. Whether you’re looking for a quick drink, to spend some quality time with friends or just enjoy some Barcelona vibes, this is the place.
