Ate lunch here for the first time and it was really good. Tasty guacamole and chips! Servers were attentive. I had the taco trio and the special of the day was the Korean barbecue taco which was my absolute favorite. I also had the Carne Asada taco and the shrimp taco. By far the Korean barbecue taco was the best! Ordered takeout for dinner a week or so later and I was very disappointed to find that the Korean barbecue taco was no longer available as it was only a special. Revolu please add that to your menu as it is absolutely delicious! I’m surprised this restaurant isn’t busier it’s a couple of blocks south of Bell Rd and it might be that people don’t know that it’s there. I will definitely go back.

*cracks knuckles* This place has been on my list for about two years and I finally got around to it. First impression wasn't so well since the waiter seemed unsure of how seating arrangements worked and maybe they just started working there. Unorganized...we got our table and menus and after about 10 minutes got our drink orders taken. And another 5 for food orders. Drinks: The Tequila Sunrise was very good, the Agua Frescas on the other hand...a bit lackluster. Watered down because of the amount of ice BUT otherwise not overly sweet. Refreshing overall. Food: The street tacos are SO small it's so messy to eat...but the flavor and pallet of the variety of tacos makes it worth it. Carnitas were a bit dry but that flavor was kinda hard to be upset at. Shrimp ✅ Chorizo ✅ Potato Head ✅ All the toppings on the tacos paired well. * I subbed my rice and beans for the Elote* Elote was delicious!! Appetizer: We got the Carne Asada Tots 100/100 absolutely delicious. The Aoli sauce is so full of flavor and the Carne Asada was SO tender. I will be returning!

For starters I just want to say the drink that looks like a Capri sun was absolutely amazing! One of the best drinks I’ve had it’s called Juice Box. The chicken nachos are appetizers I believe but they could just be a meal in itself. It’s 100% worth it to Get the chicken nachos. Something I highly recommend! The fish tacos were really good and so was the potato taco. My only issue (reason for not giving 5 stars) was the Nashville Hot chicken taco. One thing I would recommend is if you choose that taco ask for a corn tortilla instead of flour. Outside of that the customer service was great. I’d 100% come here again! It was two of us and we spent $75 total. They have a rewards program that’s pretty cool as well. I’ll definitely be coming back here!

Food was good and the service was terrific! Our only issue is the portion size did not meet the cost. For $21 (each) we received three small tacos and a portion of beans and rice. There were plenty of vegetarian options, which was nice. If I were to sum up our dinner in one word it would be generic. Never a fan when we have to pay for the chips and salsa. I was very hopeful based on the menu, but the price betrayed the quantity/quality of the food.

By far my favorite restaurant. Every time I come here it is an absolute delightful experience. The food is packed with flavor and I recommend the trio of salsa and the elotes to start. If you have a bigger group add on the queso dip. There are so many options and I don't think there is a wrong option here. It just depends on if your in the mood for a plate, enchilada or taco. They have two lovely patios and a great atmosphere with bright decor and fun music. Dinks both alcoholic and non are amazing. They have a lot of beer on tap as well.

Loved my sprouts tacos and the mango habanero salsa was very tasty. I know the reviews on here talk about the price of food being high but that’s everywhere. The only thing I would say needs some tweaking is the guacamole could use a little more flavor… it’s missing something. Great service and very attentive at the bar.

I really wanted to like this place. Our orders were simply not as delicious as we hoped. The rice tasted like a simple cilantro lime rice like you would get at chipotle. The beans tasted like ranch beans you would get from a can. The taco portions are extremely small. The mocktails tasted delicious, however they were $8 a piece.

Turns out, I didn’t understand what a modern taqueria was. The modern spin was a bit much. The food had a lot of flavor but was far from what I enjoy as Mexican food. The menu was limited and overpriced. The staff was very attentive and on top of service. The restaurant was clean and inviting with nice background music.

Menu for drinks and food was really nice. I think there is some opportunity for improving customer service and flow of the staff. We sat at the bar and had to keep asking for the host for things as we couldn’t get the bartenders’ attention. Seems like they were too busy for the crew they had or didn’t have specific jobs for the teammates. Bartenders running from making drinks to serving food out by the tables. Food was good, but no one checked on us to see how it was. We asked for the check with the host. Bummer, but good tacos 🌮.

Great little place I didn't even know was there. To be fair I don't frequent that part of Peoria often. Met up with a large group of people. Staff was attentive and everyone enjoyed their meals. I got a local craft beer. Many others enjoyed their margaritas and cocktails. Stop in with a few friends or RSVP with a larger work group.

First time dinning in and oh my amazingly delicious tacos. Tacos de asada, shrimp tinga and potatoes was absolutely perfect. Had the special drink with a popsicle and I was blown away. Most definitely will recommend 👌

Went with group of friends. Food was great the tots dish was a huge hit(no pic went too quick) firecracker shrimp isn't for wimps so good! Taquitos, tacos & drinks were all good too. 4 stars because tequila selection is lacking and server didn't know what mezcal was besides that the customer service was on point.

This place never disappoints! The food is fresh and delicious 🤤 and their drink menu is always changing with new favorites. To top it off a friendly staff!!! Love this place!! Hands down in my top 10 best eats ever!

What a surprise for a new dining experience! The food was absolutely amazing, we ordered the chicken taquitos as an appetizer, they were excellent, for our main dishes, we had chicken fajitas, and protein bowl, it was seriously some of the best food I have had. The drinks were also incredibly creative. The price range for us was around $100 for two with a few drinks. Aside from being a little pricey, it is well worth it.

We got the street corn nachos with steak and the carne asada tater tots to go. Our new favorite place for either of these! Amazing! Unexpected taste!

The food was delicious, the owner was amazing. Complimentary appetizer for it being our first time. The food presentation was beautiful. We would definitely recommend this place!

Superb service & delicious food. Five of us arrived for Happy Hour. We enjoyed the trio salsa flight, fresh guacamole & flavorful Elote. Also the Thai taco and Quesabirria were amazing. Drinks were tasty. Great decore & vibe.

We came here for the first time and would consider returning. The tacos are by no means standard, I had the pad thai which had the peanut butter sauce as well as the shrimp that had some kind of sweet sauce on. They had a good flavor but I was expecting something a little more standard. They have a decent selection of beer and liquor. I had my very first peach smash, which was the servers recommendation, it was extremely delicious and refreshing. I would definitely go back for the peach smash alone. The guac appetizer was fresh and homemade. It says in the name it's a modern taqueria so don't come here expecting a level or two up from your basic carne asada tacos. This is way up there in terms of tacos with a twist, but don't knock it till you try it.

Went here with coworkers during happy hour. Their deals and prices seems pretty on-par with the area. I only tried their chips, salsa, and the quesobirria tacos. The tacos tasted really good, but the consommé was basically just warm beef broth. No salt. It was still relatively tasty, but could be much improved by using a genuine consomeé. They provided a flight of mild to hot salsas that included pineapple, tomatillo, and roasted red pepper. They tasted homemade and weren't watery, which is a nice change up from franchise Mexican restaurants like Macayos. Other than that, decent prices, good food, and nice staff. I would return if I was in the area more often, and they focused on the main dishes more. 4/5
