The guys from Pasadena Craftsman Bath and Remodeling were very professional from start to finish. They did a beautiful job on our new shower conversion. They were very hard working, we passed all city inspections and finished on time! Very professional, their job was very clean, they were very careful around our home. It was a pleasure to meet them, very friendly and cordial people. We received 5 star service with our bathroom remodel, we are very happy, and would use their services again.

It is with pleasure that we are writing this review for Pasadena Craftsman Remodeling Construction. Cesar and his crew have just recently completed a renovation of the bathroom in our 100 year old California Bungalow home in Pasadena. Start to finish, Cesar was consistently responsive and professional. He took time to carefully review and understand our design concept (all new, in the historic bungalow style), was a perfectionist (along with his crew) in implementing it, and communicated clearly with us when unanticipated repairs were needed (structural, electrical, and plumbing). The work was completed on schedule, even with the additional work that was required. Our next project will be the kitchen and we can hardly wait to get started--Cesar will be our go to person for that work.

The firm Pasadena Craftsman recently remodeled our bathroom that also required rewiring the whole house. They offered outstanding professional service. The owner, Cesar Espejo provided talented leadership and expertise in working with older houses. He assembled talented workers specializing in framing, plumbing, tiling and finishing work. The work of the plumber in relocating the original plumbing, and that of the electricians who re-wired the house was outstanding. The tile work and the finishing details throughout was the best we have ever seen. These teams worked seamlessly, coordinated and supervised by Cesar Espejo. I had heard all the shady contractor horror stories and - after interviewing a half-dozen candidates - was wondering if I would ever find someone I trusted enough to do my kitchen remodel. Luckily I happened upon the Pasadena Craftsman website and set up an interview with the owner. Cesar turned out to be just what I was looking for: a complete professional who exuded an almost Zen calm that made me feel confident the job would be done right the first time. Once the project was underway, Cesar did not disappoint. He delivered amazing results with a crack team of professionals, few-to-no delays, excellent workmanship, attention to detail, accountability, and a good sense of humor that helped get me through some of the unforeseen hiccups. I'm grateful for his kindness, dedication and the passion he brought to his work and look forward to hiring him for my next project.

Cesar Espejo, owner of Pasadena Craftsman, chose the right name for his business. He and his team are truly craftsmen in the tradition of the master builders from a bygone era. Cesar is an honorable, trustworthy, reliable, and quality contractor. He did a major remodel of two bathrooms at our house, which included demo, framing, new plumbing, tiling, and electrical. All of his tradesmen are exceptional. His plumber is like Da Vinci - an engineer and an artist. His tile guy is like Michelangelo, he treats his job as if he's doing the Sistine Chapel. Everything is done according to code, with permits, and passes all the necessary inspections. Cesar is responsive to calls and requests. If there was ever a little thing here or there we wanted correcting he would ask his guys to take care of it. He presents good value for money. A contractor like Cesar is hard to find, and we feel lucky we did.

We needed a real, licensed contractor. We don't have a lot of experience with contractors. I'm pleased to say this experience with Pasadena Craftsman was positive and met all our expectations. They are not the cheapest in town, so if you are looking for a bargain I would not bother going to them. I do have experience with "bargains", and you usually get what you pay for. Some of this work could have been legitimately done well by a handyman, but we elected to pay Pasadena Craftsman more to do the whole package at once. Cesar, the head of the company, is really pleasant to talk to and work with. Low key, patient, arrives on time or calls ahead if there is any need to delay or change an appointment. There was an issue where I inspected some cleanup work in our attic and thought it was not done to my expectation - even though I was prepared to let it go and accept the cleanup. Cesar quickly had one look and agreed to come back quickly and have it completed without any fuss. The work was inspected and passed with no issues. His electrical subcontractor, Moses was also good to work with. He was polite, thoughtful, and willing to engage this fussy engineer in watching his work. That is in contrast to a previous, unpleasant experience I had with an electrical subcontractor on a different job. Cesar's employees are also polite and on time. We are considering Pasadena Craftsman for a bathroom remodel now.

Cesar and his team at Pasadena Craftsman Remodeling Construction did a complete renovation on our 1923 bathroom just a few weeks ago. It was our first time doing such a big job, and the bathroom needed a lot more work than we imagined (structural, electrical, etc) and I felt so comfortable working with Cesar that the work was getting done right. Cesar was always professional, knowledgeable, on time, communicated well, helped us make decisions, and we are so happy with our remodel. We will absolutely use him in the future!

If you need a contractor who shows up when he says he will, does beautiful, meticulous work, is a great communicator and a real pro, and who prices competitively, then Cesar is the guy to call. I couldn’t have been happier with the finished product after major water damage in my condo. What a pleasant experience in a difficult time!

Cesar was very responsive and easy to deal with. There was never any delay in communication. His tile installer was an artist. The interior of the house was protected from the dust of the demolition and was left clean and uncluttered rack of the four weeks of the bathroom remodel. Pasadena Craftsman remodeled our bathroom replacing the bathtub with a custom shower with outstanding workmanship, they did a true work of art! Great communication throughout the process. The plumbers, electricians and tile installers were all excellent and completed the job on time without any issues. They are personable, professional and punctual, they never stopped working until they finished. Costumer service was exceptional and now we are enjoying our beautiful shower. We are so glad we went with Cesar and his Pasadena Craftsman team, we highly recommend them.

Cesar is a knowledgeable and trustworthy contractor. He did a beautiful job remodeling our two bathrooms in our Glendale house, in which we added an additional walk-in shower, all was done with city permits. Cesar and his team are very professional, positive and helpful, we found some plumbing issues along the way and they took care of it. We did finish on schedule, we loved the final results of our two modern craftsman bathrooms. They are not the cheapest, but they are not expensive either, they represent great value. Professional and friendly service!! We were astonished with the outcome of our newly renovated bathroom. We removed the bathtub and transformed it in a walk-in shower for my elderly mother. Cesar’s workers are very hardworking, they finished the project in a short amount of time. Excellent tile work, the tile guy no doubt is an artist, beautiful outcome, I am a very satisfied customer!

Just called all excited based on the reviews about my new house I am paying CASH for in the Pasadena area. The guy was rude. Not friendly. And certainly not helpful whatsoever. Cut me off completely. And dismissed me. I guess because I am female and my money isn’t as good as a man’s. So I am all set. I will take my cash and go elsewhere. Thanks.

Had an appointment yesterday for a first meeting to get a bid for replacing a bathtub with a shower. No one showed up and no one called with any explanation. After waiting more than 30 minutes with no contact from Cesar, I wouldn’t use him even if he had shown up. It’s a shame. I was impressed with the other online reviews, but if you can’t show up and then not call for a missed appointment, how can I rely on you to do a good, and on time, job?

Great job in rebuilding our master bathroom with new custom walk-in shower and a separate self standing bathtub. You can be sure this guys don’t try to sell you materials like the prior experience we had, they focus in doing a great job. We had a five star service with quality workmanship, great tile work, they always arrived on time every day until the work was done! Would hire them again.
