Waited 30 mins to be seated...then another 45 mins for my food to come out. $35 for a few pieces of steak and a spoon full of mashed potatoes with a baby corn! Man what and experience! Should have went to great American.

I’m not really to put a review especially if it’s a bad one because I myself have my own business and hate having to be that person that posts a bad review.! Anyways Great server.! Tried his best to make it the best for us as he was the only server. The guy had about 10 tables to himself if I’m not wrong and his mangers eating while he had all those tables by himself instead of helping common people I have no words Instead of supporting his sever they are eating!!! Aren’t they supposed to be supportive they should be ashamed

Great breakfast experience this morning! Celebrating our 48th, hubby took us to Corralitos. I had French toast, he had the three-meat omelette--very good! We've been here for breakfast and lunch several times and the food and service never fails to please. The ambiance is conducive to a relaxed and enjoyable meal. And, until the end of February, they're promoting a 2 for 1 breakfast from 8:00 to 9:30! You've got to go!

My daughter wanted to celebrate her birthday here so I made a reservation for a table of six. When I got to the restaurant they had the table ready which was awesome. Vanessa was our server and she was great! She was on top of our drinks and kept us happy. It was pretty slammed but she managed to provide great service. We were all very happy overall. The food was excellent. We had ribeye and empanadas for an appetizer. They brought her cake and sang happy birthday. It was a great experience. *****5/7/22–Since our first visit for my daughter’s birthday the second one for my sister’s graduation was not the best. That was more of a 2 star. There were issues with the food and had to send it back. There is a tortilla chip policy that you are limited to so many per table. There was only one bartender and we were warned by the server that it would take a while for drinks to come out. The server was stressed out. We don’t plan to have anymore gatherings here since the price is so high and the service is a hit and miss.

The best steak house in El Paso. Super yummy. Fav cut, arrachera and rib eye medium rare. The bone marrow appetizer melts in your mouth. Drinks are delicious.

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Not only am I never going back there, but I am telling everyone I know in El Paso to avoid this place too!!! I came in and sat at the bar and waited about 15 minutes while the bar tender ignored me. I finally asked her if I could order a beer and a shot. She obliged but never offered me anything else, like chips and salsa that they offered on my last visits. I had to approach her again to place my order, which was a $27 plate for one pork chop, a tablespoon of mashed potatoes, and some asparagus. I hate asparagus, so I asked her if I could substitute it for onion rings, which was listed on their menu as additional sides. They said, "no!" Mind you, this was a $27 plate for one pork chop and a tablespoon of mashed potatoes! So I ordered and paid for a house salad, which was just lettuce and carrots. When the bill came, I paid $93 for a pork chop, a tablespoon of mashed potatoes, a house salad of nothing more than lettuce and carrots, 3 beers, and 3 shots. ALMOST $100 for 1 meal, and they refused to swap out onion rings for asparagus! ABSOLUTELY OBSCENE!!!! When I left, I told the bar tender what a horrible experience this was, and her reply was, "I'm sorry." That's it, not a, "would you like to speak to the manager?" or anything else. Even when I showed her that I paid ALMOST A HUNDRED DOLLARS FOR ONE MEAL, with the signed receipt, that was it. Just, an "I'm sorry," and nothing else. DO NOT GO HERE AND DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND VALUABLE MONEY, because THEY DO NOT VALUE THEIR PATRONS WHO SPEND CLOSE TO A HUNDRED DOLLARS PER MEAL, for nothing more than a single pork chop, a tablespoon of mashed potatoes, a side salad, and 3 beers! ABSOLUTELY THE WORST!!!! And they would not let me leave a review unless I gave them at least one star. If I could leave negative stars I would.

Service depends on how big the party is. I've gone with small parties and the service is good and with parties over 6... it's pretty horrible. Overall the location is beautiful. And food is ok

The Phoenix has Risen!!! Two yrs ago had a very bad experience at this place haven’t visited until now. Today they have risen from the ashes. Ate alone. Was seated in a quiet place. The service was 100% amazing. The food was hot and tasty, and my Porter steak was cooked perfectly rare. Only down sides were some mess ups: my appetizer was boxed. But to make up for the mess up Manager came to my table to visit and apologize. Very happy with their return 🤘🏼🖤

We waited 25 mins to get seated and 25 more mins to even get a waiter to acknowledge us (although he was very nice). I really only had a problem with my sides: the veggies were flavorless, the baked potato was halfway cooked and flavorless, and there were barely any mushrooms. I might’ve just had a bad experience, and like i said the waiter, David, was very kind

We were supposed to go to Cattleman’s to have dinner and I’m so glad we ended up coming out here instead of waiting one and a half hour to be seated. The restaurant has definitely upgraded and the menu and service were exceptional! Our waiter Alex was great, attentive and checked up on us frequently. The food didn’t disappoint either! The melted cheese with rajas was delicious, our steaks were perfectly cooked and the side dishes were amazing.I can’t say enough great things about our experience. We will definitely come out here again. 5 Stars!

Went in for lunch and waited forever just to order drinks. Then it took forever to get the drinks and again to place our food order. fifty-five minutes after arrival, we get Luke warm food. I ordered the tampiqueña medium well and it was charred! People who arrived after we did were served while we waited. Very disappointed and will not be back. UPDATE: WE have gone back and have had good experiences. In all fairness, I an re-reviewing because I have been back twice since mi last review and have to say the food was great and the service was awesome.

Waited 45 minutes for food to come. It was barely “warm”. Lobster tails were very cold! Steak was asked for well done and had to take it back because of how pink it was then the manager brings us someone else’s plate!!! Not worth what we had to pay.

Went there on the fourth of July 🇺🇲🇺🇲. Restaurant was busy and there was a 45 minutes wait before getting our table. The wait was not bad at all as they seat you in a waiting room where they offer free beers and bottles of waters. We ordered the sampler appetizer platter which was great, especially the ribs and the empanadas. We then shared the sirloin tacos which was also super good. Service was very friendly and professional. I will definitely be back.

First time in Texas, figured we had to try the steak. I've stopped ordering steaks at restaurants because I've learned to grill my own to perfectly suit my palette so usually it's just a sad waste of money when I eat out. Also, a lot of restaurants overcook a rare steak. This filet mignon was unbelievable. As rare as I would've cooked it, and the seasonings were refreshing and flavorful, as I usually just use salt and pepper at home. The staff was top notch as well. Our waitress came by regularly to check on us and was very polite. Definitely give this place a try.

Delicious as always. We started with the Mexican Shrimp Cocktail, which was amazing. Their homemade cocktail sauce was phe-no-me-nal! Definitely recommend. We also got the Hawaiian tostadas (don't remember the exact name), which were spicy and delicious. As our entree, we got the Tender to Share, which is 20 ounces of tenderloin, queso fundido, two baked potatoes, guacamole, and some tortillas. The steak was cooked perfectly. Throughout our meal, we got drinks that were also very tasty. The martinis were great. The mango Margarita was a bit on the weak side. Also, the Long Island Iced Tea was good, though a little more sour than I would have liked. Definitely recommend going.

Went for dinner. Small wait for 2 on an early Saturday night. Sat us in the bar area, was still quiet. Nice atmosphere and really cool dead animal skulls on the wall everywhere like a hunters cabin. I'm not sure if they're real or fake but are impressive none the less. Neat art on the walls, too. Ordered a sampler appetizer and a couple of Arrachera steaks... steaks came like 1 minute after the sampler was brought, and the waitress said, "Sorry, I didn't want them to sit there and overcook." Timing sucked, felt rushed. Poor food service. No excuses. Wasn't even busy. The food was delicious. Steak was overcooked, still good. Lacked presentation. Flavor was on point, though. Food Service is a big deal for this price, 3 stars. Presentation lacking, 3 stars. Food Flavor saved the day, 5 stars. Service was too relaxed there when we went, and heavily showed. I expected more from a $35 steak, too. Still, I will be back for another try! The food is too good! I recommend it, maybe not the Arrachera. Good luck when you go!

I have been here several times for lunch and it has always been a nice experience. The restaurant, kitchen area, and restrooms are well-maintained. The food is quite excellent and they have nice lunch specials. The servers are very attentive and friendly and any time the food is delayed a manager visits the table to explain the issue and apologize. The sausage appetizer was delicious, the salsas are great, the burgers are full of flavor, and the steak Tampiqueña plate was fantastic. I recommend this location fully.

My father went to Corralito's this evening to pick us up some steaks. Service was very slow. Food was cold and arrachera was extremely overcooked (we asked for medium rare but we got beef jerky) onions were not cooked as they usually are and were cut very weirdly. We were very disappointed with the meal and the service. He sat at the bar and said the food took way too long to come. The food was so cold that my butter and cheese could not even melt on the baked potato.

I can’t give a lower rating or I would!! My husband and I were seated in a back area and were never approached by a server. We could only “hear” the servers laughing and joking around. I would never recommend this place to a enemy let alone a complete stranger. The worst service ever!! Manager followed us outside after I complained. This should have never happened and escalated to this point. I will stick to places I know!!! Don’t go here unless you want bad service! Negative 5 stars.

This location is always a great place to come for dinner. Fabian is the best waiter you can get. He is very friendly and professional. He really makes you feel special. The food is very delicious. Although the jalapeños are spicy. But it's a great place and great service.

I am not one to write nasty reviews and this is not the exception. Let me begin by saying I love Corralito. I have gone many times to the one on Zaragoza and Airways and both have been excellent to say the least. Now for whatever reason, Doniphan just does not make it on the A list. Our server was very nice, quick and attentive. The ambience is very nice and clean. The food, on the other hand, just quitely does not come near to the other Corralito locations. I do not know exactly why, but I keep ordering my steak medium and when received its more well done, no juice, no pink. The kiddos chicken tenders were so dry, but to be fair, our queso fundido with mushrooms was really really good, but now, instead of going on and on, I will try and visit the other El Paso locations. Keep up the great work Corralito. Truly a great Mexican style Steakhouse 👌.

It was good, but it wasn't as good as I remember. I had the beef empanadas and they didn't really have any flavor it was just plain beef and I didn't like the sauce at all it was a red sauce, I don't think it went well with the empanadas. What I really did enjoy was the chips and salsas that they gave us when we first sat down. Also we waited around 20 minutes to be seated and we waited like another 10 for the menu's. I don't know if they are short staffed but I assumed that they were.

The office went out for lunch on a Friday. We arrived right at noon, wait was minimal. The place is really nice. Our server was Gaspar and I got to say the best part of the visit was the service. He was quick, efficient, and very attentive. He would not let our drinks get below half before he refilled. I got the red sirloin enchiladas. The sirloin, rice, and beans were good. However, the red sauce was cold. If the enchiladas would’ve been hot this would’ve been a five star visit.

Beautiful restaurant. Great service. Exceptionally flavorful food. There were 6 birthday celebrations around us.... apparently the go to place for celebrations and I know why....the food is tasty...the atmosphere is Michelin star quality and the service is super spot on. Don't miss out on this place! It's a great place for special occasions or a special date...or just treating yourself to something a little more high quality than a normal restaurant in El Paso. The nogados had an amazing flavor, but the dish was served cold in the middle. I took it home and heated it in the microwave and it was fabulous!

We didn't go to this one. We went to the one near UTEP. Worst 200 dollar meal ever. Villa Del Mar is better. Better service, drinks and steaks. 200 dollars for 2 steaks no sides (we weren't told they're charged aside) no salad just 2 pcs of carrots oh n the Colorado Bulldog I ordered the bartender had no idea what it was. Never will I recommend any Corralito Restaurants except if they're already drunk or can afford to lose 200 dollars they can throw away.

Had to wait 1hr+ for our meal. The waiter was attentive and concerned, not his fault and is the only reason I'm giving them a 3 instead of 1. Overpriced Mexican steakhouse, better off at a local Mexican restaurant such as Delicias Cafe or Los Jarrones.

Shared the porterhouse with my fiance. The prices are great! This was the BEST steak we've had in El Paso. The staff are extremely friendly and great at what they do! My only complaint is that I called in a reservation and when we arrived, they said nobody wrote the reservation down.

  • 5/5 TriggerHappyTexan H. 4 years ago on Google
Excellent steakhouse with great meat and sides. My only complaint would be that the sports TVs kind of ruin the fancy vibe of the place. Waiters and waitresses are very nicely dressed and polite. Prices are a little high but to be expected of a nicer steakhouse. Their signature steak is absolutely worth it.
