It could be a great bar with new bartenders. Our bartender was on the phone most of the time (I’m pretty sure it’s the daughter from the owner, bc of a conversation I overheard) you have to repeat your orders bc she gets distracted easily. She’s not very friendly and ignores you for a good while before taking your order ( bar was not busy). Her attitude just left a really bad impression on me and my friend.

The main reason I like this restaurant is their Tampiqueña plate-- it is pretty good, is a pretty big portion, and is a great value. My Son and I both ordered the same, with a tea, and the tab was on $25!! At most other Mexican restaurants that would cost $40-$50. The taste is pretty authentic Mexican too. :-)

Disgusting and horrible discriminating service. Like most said the stubby chick behind the bar is rude and doesn't care. Don't waste your money or time here.

If you want to feel like family this is where you need to be! On the house chips and salsa just because you’re awesome! FYI.. the games are in all day so I advise you to pull up and become family! Anthony handles the food like a boss and Stephanie & Laura are dope af!

This place has a reputation for double charging, adding tips and a waitress/ bartender (short,fat and rude) for bad service. I have been here 3 times just to be fair but my experience was the same each time. The reason the fat rude waitress is still employed there is because she is the owners daughter. When she does check on you she acts like she is doing you a favor.She has no manners and has no business wearing the skimpy clothes she wears. My tab for one of my bad experiences included my cousins tab added to mine and my tab added to my cousins tab.Double decking our tabs.If you have to steal from your customers you have no business owning a bar. Try improving service and stop stealing from your customers. You guys should be shut down for all the rip offs you do. Never going back to this dump!

Went there after a concert, and the bartenders ACTIVELY IGNORED US at the bar. We sat there watching the guy at our end of the bar serve everyone else for over 20 min. People who already had drinks!! When we tried to get his attention, he blatantly ignored us. I've never been treated so rudely. Won't be back. #rudeaf

I enjoyed the atmosphere, the food was good and the bartender and server were very friendly. Although the music was a bit too loud it was hard to hear my friend talking sitting across from me in the dining area. I did ask if it was possible to lower and they said they would lower it a bit in our area, and they did but it wasn't much. But this doesn't take away from the good atmosphere and awesome employees.

Excellent prices and overall a relaxing vibe. Truly a bar that’s been around for a long time

The atmosphere was great! Karaoke with some great singers. My only hang up is that they are way understaffed for that many people. Only 2 girls handling everyone and then they just walk by you like you aren't there to serve their friends. Only gripe there. Other than that it was great.

Went Saturday night. Had karaoke with weird people in customs. Renaissance theme I guess. Woman bathroom was Disgusting! Not the staffs fault. I definitely blame it on inconsiderate patrons with no manners

It's a nice bar, very spacious, low illumination. Good drinks, and it has pool tables, darts, shuffle table and some game machines. In the day you can ask food from Lucy's, the mexican restaurant on the same building. At night after 11pm there's nothing to eat.

Love this place! I get to enjoy delicious food!! And relax and enjoy some delicious mix drinks. The environment is awesome!

King X Bar is a historic bar in El Paso Texas it been there a long time. They offer great prices and the atmosphere is welcoming and fun. I visited many tile during my young adult years and even now I’m my later years it still a great bar.

Great place to hang out and to meet new people. They also have great food from Lucy's, I would recommend the Lucy Burger it is amazing.

Great party crowd. Need a few more people to attend customer's. But even than it is fun . Plenty of billiards area might need a dancing area. Really liked the place.

The Fideo is Good here and they pair well with the Tripas. The breakfast options are good and served all day. Go get you some Fideo for a chilly night in

Taylor & All The Bartenders are amazing they make my favorite drinks perfectly and Their karaoke night are fun and Lucy cafe waiters are amazing and the Mexican food is good and the games are fun

Pool tables in the back are decent. ..and very cheap...however there are a lot of drunk people. Be careful.....the man with the gray hair is very respectful.

We used to shut this place down when I lived here. Had a great time last night (after being away for 15 years) just chatting with the regulars and singing karaoke. Special thanks to Sam the bartender and their karaoke guy on Monday nights. If you are looking for a bit of El Paso history, some inexpensive drinks, a game of pool, and absolutely lovely people then this is the place. I'm really glad I made it back if only for a night.

Lucy's is always good. I had the tacos Antonia. 🌮 Kings X is pretty cool too!

Went in for a quick drink ended up staying over an hour..they make you order food and serve you beer till the foods infront of you. The food was good👍

As always, the best breakfast machaca in town. The Lepe brothers always provide excellent service. I hadn't been there in over a year. Next time I'll order the Tacos Antonia.

King's X is a really awesome bar. One of the oldest bar's in El Paso. After working here as a bartender for a combined total of almost 2 years I got to know all the regulars and really enjoy the drinks and the food from Lucy's (shared building) . The owners are very kind and friendly.
