The tortilla soup is to die for. That, along with the excellent customer service, affordable prices, and quick serving time makes this my GO-TO place downtown.

This is my go to place for a homestyle Mexican meal. They have a daily lunch special and sometimes offer seasonal items such as capirotada (Mexican bread pudding) during Lent. Service is very attentive, the owner very friendly, even during busy lunch hours. Food tastes good, fresh, and not greasy. The red salsa that comes with the complimentary chips is very tasty!

I am literally obsessed with their tortilla soup. I work nearby and walk to the restaurant to get it often. Their burritos and tortas are also amazing. This place is a must try.

Eh, it's alright. It's real convenient if you work in the Chase Tower and need a place to go, but the food is not that spectacular, and the service is incredibly slow. The staff hardly ever speaks English (I get it, we are in a Border Town, but most of the Executives that work at Chase would prefer English as I understand it). Everything is so-so.

Bought an egg and chorizo burrito and was VERY disappointed. I took a bite and there was more tortilla than egg and the sprinkled chorizo was burnt. Spent almost $4.00 for this. I threw it away. Never again.

Burrito was very tiny like the size of mcds breakfast sausage burrito.. tiny but tasty.. service quick and there were several people there. Other than how small the portions were.. it's a good place to eat.. if u want a bigger burrito.. go elsewhere.

Only 3 tables had customers and they had their food. Waitress/owner too busy to come to table. When I went to get a menu, she told me the day's special. I told my friend and went back to counter. She asked rudely what I wanted to drink and I told I wanted to look at the menu first. She handed me menu, made a snorting noise and walked away. I have eaten there off and on for over 20 years. She's usually smiling and nice. Sorry she's having a bad day, but she just lost a customer! My tortilla soup is better anyway!

The meal I ordered hit the spot, it was made different but good. Now lets discuss the lady working there, possibly the owner. So disappointing if she was. Unfriendly, which in my case ruins the vibe. She didn't greet or smile, but I can ignore that because I greeted her & smiled. I asked about her menu & her response sounded like I was bothering her. I do keep in mind that we never know whats going on with others but she was the only one there & so was I, & if she was the owner, she needs to at least fake it. For me, the meal is not as enjoyable when you cant be comfortable enough to ask a question from the person helping/serving you. The bad customer service sadly brings down the score.

Food is good. The issue with this place is they're understaffed and service is rushed. I asked for caldo de res and it came without the meat. Only 1 waitress so no time for her to ask if everything was fine.
