Kiki's is probably one of my favorite Mexican food restaurants in El Paso! There is always something delicious being made in the kitchen. On the upside there is great spicy salsa on the table; on the downside, when busy, you will eat it all before getting your order in. VERY BUSY during lunch and dinner; so if you can, go during the non peak hours. 😃

I’ve been to this restaurant several times the last 20 years, things I can count on is that there will always be people eating, I’ve always had to wait a bit to be seated and that the food does not disappoint. The food is jam packed with flavor and they also have some delicious margaritas, which are made with wine not tequila! The restaurant itself is filled with pictures of celebrities that have stopped to eat there throughout the years. It’s a nice little gem. Wether you are from El Paso or just visiting, you have to try this restaurant at least once!

Looking for Mexican food while in El Paso seemed like a good idea. I found Kiki's using Google maps and found myself in the booth with Kiki's picture. I was surprised there was a 20 minute wait at 6:45 pm on a Thursday night. But, it has a really friendly vibe and the wait staff are very friendly. The food was tasty and the portions were generous. I would definitely come back here when I'm in El Paso again. I ordered the burrito special.

This is my second time around to Kikis El Paso! First time was 2019 during the pandemic and had to go orders only. It wasn't that hot finding gristle 3 time in my Queso smothered chicken fried steak. But I decided to give it a second 'Sit Down' try and dine in! Cause I understand things were hectic for a while. Now me and the wifeys went for Lunch on a Sunday, they have about a 30 minute wait. We got in, the staff severs and hostesses were very nice! I ordered the chicken fried steak with queso again 🥩🧀! And a crab meat enchilada al la carte. My steak smothered in queso was much better this time, probably could have used a little more spicy kick in the queso but it was good. Now the crab enchilada was a little one the cold side but still warm enough too eat, the sauce was good, not too spicy, good flavor and let the crab shine through!! It was really good. I also ordered a Dos XX Michelada, gave me a tiny glass with some super strong mix in it, definitely need to make a better michelada! But overall it was a good experience and I'd go back! I'd give it a 3.7 out of 5 stars, but with the Crab enchilada really on point we Pushing it to 4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars!! I'll post a food video of this on my YouTube Channel, Search Flex Von!! Thank-you

This place was terrible. The beer wasn't cold, the tortillas just ho-hum ones from H.E.B., and the picadillo I ordered was just ground beef with some potatoes and peppers. And the tortilla chips looked like they came from a bag--and they charge you if you request more (I didn't, but they have it in the menu). I was very disappointed. Nice atmosphere, lots of character, but there's a very lethargic, "we're not going to do more than we have to" vibe here. I said "goodnight" to the guy i thought was the manager of the place as I was walking out. He didn't even look up. GO TO L & J's Cafe!

If you're in El Paso, Texas, and in the mood for some authentic Mexican food, this is it. Great atmosphere, quick service, very pleasant servers, and above all very delicious, great, food. I highly recommend Kiki's. Just get off I-10 at the Piedras exit, head north for about 2.5 miles and you are there.

Excellent place with great food and good workers. My only critique is their chip servings. They are criminally small and then they charge a dollar for every refill of about 5 to 10 chips. We had 4 people at the table.

Food was OK for the price. The fajitas were well seasoned, but greasy. The crab enchiladas were pretty good. The tostadas tasted a little stale and the salsa tasted and looked watered down. Service was good, but the booth wasn't clean before we got there, so we had to clean off the table and seat. Overall, Atmosphere was chill for a Sunday night. OK experience, but probably won't visit again.

I wanted some good tacos, but this place is famous for its Machaca. I had no idea what it was, but I was being adventurous. What the waitress told me that is was dried beef (think beef jerky) and they rehydrate it and cook it. It was good, but it wasn't the best thing I have ever tasted. We sat at the bar and I was hoping to order a margarita. Unfortunately, they don't serve liquor. Their margaritas are wine based. Nope. No thanks.

First time here, after many recommendations and living in El Paso for a long time. One of the best experience with Mexican dining. Salsa was actuality spicy, as it should be. Not like others tomato based salsas from other restaurants. The pictures are the Queso fries, Mexican plate #3 and #2 with crab enchiladas.

Thought we were lost when we were approaching, turned out it's a neighborhood restaurant right at the corner of the community. It was so crowded, many people were waiting for table, waitlisted people either sit at the bar or gathered at the waiting area. Definitely have to order their 🌮 tacos, enchiladas, and burritos, key is not just the stuffing but also the tortilla, so well made and cooked, you wouldn't taste the smell of flour, bet it's homemade. Come and enjoy your Mexican 🌯 cuisine here, best in town.

One of El Paso's Finest. Great taste to every bite. We stopped after a long day and it went well. Filled us up enough to continue our adventures. Portions are well served. Wish beers would be ice cold but they were chill. Overall - a great time and yes highly recommend.

My first time to visit this authentic Mexican restaurant in old town El Paso. My girlfriend has been going here for years and since we were in the area she convinced me to check this place out. We were seated right away and the restaurant was packed. We met the owner and he allowed me to customize my order onion-free and with a hearty amount of avocado slices per my request. The iced tea was delicious. They were playing MTV type classic pop songs which suited me just fine. Our server was very nice and took great care of us. The food was delicious and you really felt the authenticity of decades of tradition which is one of the reasons we moved back here. The Mexican food is awesome!

Brief wait on a Sunday lunch, but hostess was friendly and helpful, the wait went by quickly. Ordered the caldillo plate on recommendation by waiter - delicious and highly recommend! Ample parking, clean environment, great staff! Will come back and encourage others to come by.

The portions are huge! And full of cheese!! This place does comfort food to the extreme. I got the brisket because that's what they are known for and it does not disappoint. I couldn't stop eating it once I got full. On the wall they have a framed photo of Kiki to watch over you while you eat yourself into oblivion.

Service was great. The food didn't come out super fast, but I know they were busy with take-out orders as well as dining room orders. It isn't a big deal, we just thought it would be a quick stop as we passed through town. The chips and salsa were good, but it isn't my favorite salsa. I really like the authenticity of the restaurant.

Love this Place but last three times it's been off. I understand short staff problems but this time many facets were off. Wait to sit not bad, but waited 15 minutes to order. Then another 27 mins for food after receiving food waited for silverware and tortillas. Our inattentive waitress was in main room so it was hard to request anything. Waitress in backroom focused on her tables mostly big tops understandable. Where I drew the line was when I had to ask manager for check. He didn't see me because he was getting another big top ready so walked up to manager and asked for check. I did not get how was your meal, we thank you for choosing us, thank you or bye. Read me my change and ran back to backroom to set up big top. Service and management needs to step up or limit how many tables? Thank you Vent over

After a long flight my friend and I were looking for some good Mexican! We stumbled upon Kiki’s! The food was absolutely delicious with just the right amount of spice. The brisket tacos were FANTASTIC! Will certainly be coming here again and telling friends and family

This is definitely a local favorite. My wife and her friends had eaten here literally over several decades. Service was good. The atmosphere was that of a bar/restaurant. My burrito special was nothing to write home about and I would not order it again. It was heavy on the green chili's and cheese (Velveeta?) and light on good flavor. Everyone else in our party enjoyed their meals, so I'll only mark them down a little for my selection. Definitely fits my profile for locally owned!

Great Mexican food as we remembered it has akways had. We live some distance away now but look forward to return. We had the popular Crab Enchilada and Chile Relleno plates.

  • 2/5 Veronica C. 1 year ago on Google
The chips were a little too salty but the salsa was spicy. I ordered the two enchiladas and taco combo. The red enchilada sauce was beyond mild and uneventful in the spicy/taste category. I probably won't return again.

Wow I already had high expectations for Kiki’s from the friend who recommended it, but my experience blew those out of the water. I think the staff working there tonight might be the nicest people in the world. I know it’s the holidays, but they really went above and beyond to both make my day and honestly ruin it bc they were so nice and I didn’t have the money on me to tip them properly and now I can’t stop thinking about it. I sat at the bar, and was asked frequently by many members of staff how the food was, and was even given a sampler plate of the sauces they made there including their DELICIOUS mole! I’m still in shock from the whole experience. Thank you soo much! My intention was to come back tomorrow before my flight, to tip my server but you’re closed on Wednesdays :( if you could help me figure out a way to tip him (had long black hair tied in a ponytail and was serving those of us eating at the bar tonight and answering the phone), I’d appreciate it!

Great food. You’ll probably have to wait if you go in a peak hour for lunch or dinner, but they turn the tables fairly quickly. We really liked all the food we ordered, and the tostadas and salsa were solid too. No complaints! Not the best spot for groups larger than 4.

Almost every time we are in El Paso we try to come to Kiki's. The brisket tacos have the most amazing flavor. We always leave full and satisfied. The waiters are amazing and very accommodating for our little picky eaters.

Food was fantastic. Servers were wonderful. Get the queso fries with brisket, but get it to share unless you're skipping the entree because it's a lot of food. The chicken machaca was amazing and the portions were so generous I couldn't finish it.

My mom brought us here for some authentic Tex-Mex, and we were very pleased with the fun, family ambiance, and experience. I ordered a "margarita," and the server let me know right away that there's are made with wine, not tequila, because of licensing issues. It was tasty but a bit sweet for my taste. I had the green burrito, which was okay, but I preferred the tacos my husband ordered. My kids' quesadillas were also pretty good.

First time here. It reminded me of living in the 1990’s and the hole in the wall Mexican restaurants which we all know have THE best food. This place did not disappoint! The food was amazing and the service was great. We had a very nice waitress and she was kind and prompt. Our food tasted so good and the margaritas were good too. I had the enchiladas verdes and my husband had the burrito special. I’d highly recommend this place!

Its a good restaurant with good food. But some of food like enchiladas has a bit more cheese than expected. Since I'm personally not a fan of too much cheese, thats a bit disappointing. But the tacos and other food are great. Good spicy salsas. The service is good. They recommend and make you try of you are not so sure about the food what you want to eat. So, overall have to try place.

Amazing food! Just moved here from NC and was recommended this place. My husband loved the supreme nachos and I had the flautas. One thing I dislike is when my avocado is browning, other than that was not disappointed

  • 5/5 john l. 4 months ago on Google
The food was amazing. The salsa that comes out with the chips is legit and nice and spicy. Food came out hot and fast. If you are in El Passo I would say come and try this place.

Love Kiki’s. It’s one of my top choices for fav restaurants in El Paso. This is a TexMex restaurant. I like to get the red cheese enchiladas. Great/friendly service and food is always consistent. Curbside during the pandemic has been quick and easy if you order ahead. When you’re dining in (during regular business hours) usually there’s a wait so make plans accordingly. One star deducted because they use styrofoam and foil—both bad for the environment, but more importantly, the foil makes the food taste different. Please change to paper products!

Consistency, consistency, CONSISTENTCY! Now that I'm actually writing reviews about places I go. I felt the need to review my favorite Mexican restaurant in El Paso. I've been there a lot and still continue to go, and every time tastes just like the last. This is why I stressed CONSISTENCY so much when I think about it. I first think about their Manchaca with Brisket plate, however. You can have it with other options, but I find Brisket is my go to when it comes to Manchaca from Kiki's. Im local and my girlfriend showed me this place. Been going to it ever since. I'd say about no less than 9 years now. I would also recommend their red enchiladas plate with cheese. I'd give it more stars if I could.
