One of my favorite places when visiting El Paso. Great decor fills the place with true Mexican vibes. Authentic Mexican food is delicious and the service is great. I like hanging out in the bar area. A few nights a week they have live music in the evenings. You can order from the menu while sitting in the bar area. Monday nights they have $5 Margaritas. High 5 to Los Bandidos!! If you liked my review, give a 👍🏼 thanks. Instagram: txchickafoodnfun 🌵🤠🌮

1st time here, we ran in for lunch. Loved the atmosphere, and the whole place smelled delicious. The chips and salsa they put on the table...you can see from the picture, the Chips were as big as my hand...and very good. I had the nachos...appetizer and it was huge. Couldn't eat the whole thing. The food was great, the service was fast and friendly. Will totally go back there again while I'm in town for the next 3 months.

All the way down just right next to the border, this is a good place to enjoy some Mexican style food. I'm in no way an expert on judging the authenticity, but I can surely say it tasted good to me. The place definitely has a nice vibe and is great for celebrating something special. The place was nicely decorated as well. Felt like in a party. The place was crowded and we had to wait a bit. But it was well worth it. The staff was nice and quick to serve food.

We had a wonderful time. Our server was Fernanda. She kept our glasses full and asked if we needed anything. She was very polite and friendly. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The place is filled with pictures and art that it's hard not to look around. The prices are decent and the food was served hot and it was delicious. They were generous portions too. My 4 year old granddaughter was not bored at all. She was watching the Olympics on one of the TVs. I also happened to notice that the ob-gyn that delivered my sons had his picture on the wall. I told my son about him and it brought back beautiful memories when I saw Dr. Joe Mendoza's picture. May he R.I.P.🙏 Definitely going back.

This is the best Mexican restaurant I have been to so far. The vibe here is appealing and fun. Halloween decorations were incredible. Food was next to nothing. Their Fajitas are the best. DO NOT MISS THEM! Highly recommended!

They were busy, which means they are a popular place. I had to wait almost 45 minutes for a table. The waitress was very nice and attentive. The Margarita was wonderful. Queso was okay, not great. I ordered steak and chicken fajitas, and they were good. I prefer my veggies a little more done but otherwise very tasty. On to desert, the flan was okay, not the best I've ever had, crusty on bottom and very bland. All in all it was a good place to eat and the service was great. I was alone and spent $50 on a full course; this is a little expensive in my taste, especially for fair quality. I would not go again.

This place is a definite tourist destination. The environment is great and the Margaritas are excellent. Stick to the frozen ones, they seem to kick in a bit more than those on the rocks. The Texas size Margarita used to be one of my all time favorites but it is alot of alcohol and alot of sugar. I know stick to the El Paso (medium) size. The food is so so. It's not what I would call the best Mexican food in town but it's not bad either. The only bad thing about this venue is that you do come out smelling alot like Mexican grease. Lol. Other than that, it's a great place to go and have a get together with friends, family, or coworkers.

After a tired day in my house! My husband and I we were trying to get a restaurant to eat and we got this little one. To be honest I was surprise when I went inside. And was very good and surprising after the good service they offered and the food was. Good. I recommend this place in a family day!. This is a place very well decorated and charming.

    1. Be very aware that this restaurant is super popular and mega crowded on Friday & Saturday nights! Parking is interesting and packed! 2. Decor is fun and makes you want to explore the restaurant! 3. The massive margarita is exactly that, but very little liquor & average taste. Better to order a smaller drink for excellent quality & taste. 4. Food was bland and a bit disappointing. Pricey for the quality. My son and were both disappointed. I don't understand the Friday night crowd for this quality. I would go back to try some of their margaritas, but not order food. Salsa was meh as well. 5. Service was very good. 6. Booths are hard to get in & out of without hitting your head and/or getting your feet tangled in the table legs while trying to get out. Would NOT sit in a booth again!

It’s been about a year since my last visit here. The service, appetizers and entree was sub-par. I ordered the Texas Size Fajitas, which were very dry. Only thing I enjoyed most was the sopapillas.

The place was amazing, but an unforeseen incident happened that required us to leave the location early, but it didn't pertain to the restraunt. Joel, our server was very welcoming and attentive to our orders. Also, when we finished our soft drinks, he was right there to refill them again. When we had to leave in a haste, he was very accommodating with giving us boxes to take all the food and cups to take pur drinks as well. I hope to attend with better circumstances again. Great job

Extra large margaritas in fun flavors such as mango con chamoy. Food's great. Nice vegetarian options available. Live music and fun decor give it a great atmosphere. We were there for Día de los Muertos and there was a huge altar setup. Very cool!

I have traveled to El Paso many times, and ALWAYS thought to eat at Los Bandidos De Carlos & Mickey's. I love their fish tacos, their margaritas are FOR REAL, and the facility is an architecturally interesting place to be in! The owner brings in very talented local musicians to play in the lounge, and that is a real joy! One guy from Juarez (who plays what I call 'Mexican Jazz') convinced me to come on-stage and play HIS guitar while he sang-- in Spanish! That was awesome! Everyone who likes Mexican food should eat here!

Great atmosphere and lunch time is the best time to go since there is no wait time. We had the lunch special of the tacos de asada with a potato as a side. It was delicious and filling. Also enjoyed my lunch with a strawberry colada which was amazing. This restaurant isa great for family and friends and the drinks are always a must try. If your a cheesy nacho person, skip them here, as the nachos are literally just topped with melted white shredded cheese. I love nachos and this is the one place to skip it for the price. Overall great place and recommend this location for the best experience.

Amazing food at amazing prices! Our waiter was on roller skates. The plates were generous. Mine weighed over 24 lbs! and the Margheritas were nearly one gallon. Our total bill for two of us was less than $20 including the tip.

Wonderful Mexican food and drinks. Great location. Nice decor and staff on the ball moving fast to provide good service. Jackie was our server. She was awesome. The margaritas are fantastic and the food tasted great. A must stop with family, friends or for your next party. Always packed anytime of day. Smoking is allowed on the patio outside. Great music and environment. $20-$40/pp. I highly recommend you visit.

Not pictured the delicious margaritas, all were quite good. The Chile relleno was delicious and probably the best I had while in el paso. The guac was also tasty, great service and had love music in the bar area on Thursday.

Maybe the chef was having a not-so-good day today. Both the Caldo de Res and the Albondigas Caldo were lacking flavor. The ingredients were generous, but the taste just was a little shy of what we expected. I've had much better in smaller restaurants. On the other hand, the service, tostadas with salsa and the atmosphere were excellent. Next time we'll try some of the mainstream plates like nachos, tacos or combination plates. BTW, providing corn tortillas with the caldo would have been a plus.

Probably one of the worst Mexican food experiences I've ever had in my entire life. The server messed up my order, of four tacos which isn't a big deal. But as soon as the corrected order came in, there was barely any meat in the tortillas which was odd. The meat tasted like paste and the tortilla shell was very hard it didn't feel like an authentic taco. The service was also very slow here. I recommend going somewhere else if you're looking for Mexican food.

Lively Tex Mex restaurant On the recommendation of the receptionist at our hotel we went to this restaurant for dinner. The restaurant was super popular with a really lively atmosphere. We had a terrific meal and all the other diners' meals looked good too. Even though it was really busy, our meals came out really quickly. The service was good and the prices were reasonable.

The restaurant was very crowded on Saturday at 6pm. Fortunately we had a reservation for our group, thanks to Erin at Big Bend Boating and Hiking Company. Our service was excellent, several people were assisting our server. The food and drinks were delicious and I enjoyed the eclectic art and portraits that were displayed in the room where we were seated.

Enjoyed the fresh tortilla chips and salsa. Also had a delicious veggie fajita... big variety of grilled veggies, which surprised me. Food was saltier than I'd prefer though. Staff was super attentive and very nice! Good lunch option and was not crowded on a weekday when I went.

Deceptive. They charge a hidden fee if you pay with a credit card. It's a shame because the food was good, but you shouldn't sneak in hidden fees without informing the customer up front. Will not return.
