I can't get over how popular this place is! We went there on Windy Sunday thinking there would be a small crowd and were we surprised. It was packed with a hungry crowd. I enjoy shopping for small gifts here and am always entertained by their variety of items. Since there were so many people shopping and waiting to be seated, I didn't mind waiting because I thought I was actually going to have time to really browse around. It is such a fun place! Time flies when you have so much to look at and before I knew it we were called to be seated. Nicole was our server and immediately brought our nenus and drinks. It took me awhile to decide what I wanted to order because I could not decide on breakfast or lunch. Both menus have so much to select from. I decided on their french toast and topped them with their country fried apples. Oh my! What a perfect combination! Very tasty and my side was their hash brown casserol. I would order that again. It goes great with the coffee! Thank you to our waitress! She is an excellent server!

Written a month ago, but it never posted. Our last two visits to Cracker Barrel in Sulphur, LA and Las Cruces, NM were both highly disappointing from horrible servers. This morning we stopped at the El Paso, TX Cracker Barrel and we had excellent service by Rosalinda. Our food was hot, fresh, and delicious. What a delightful change! We were blessed to be seated next to the fireplace and it was such a lovely atmosphere. My husband and I sipped our coffee while gazing upon the flickering flames. It felt like we were in a small cafe with a delightful atmosphere. To top it off, the cashier, Norma, was a sweetheart. She was helpful and had a great personality. This is the downhome, hospitable Cracker Barrel I expect to find. Thank you, El Paso!

This is the second time I've eaten here, this place is awesome the food is great . I love walking around the store part of it. I have NOT once been profiled or harassed for what I dress like , and my race. My son only had one little compliant, he ordered his steak medium rare and they gave it well done. But other than that amazing. The waiter Christopher G was amazing, very nice, polite and not hovering just enough to make sure you had everything you needed. Thank you Christopher G for making my son and I visit amazing.

Severely understaffed. Items on the menu were not available. They had a sign posted that some items would possibly not be available due to distribution problems. Well at least they didn't blame it on the virus. Wait time was one hour and 30 minutes. Some wait times were up to two hours. What? Am I at a Disneyland ride line? The food wasn't even worth the wait!!!! It's sad because my wife and I love this place. They seriously need to staff people and bring down the wait times to a decent and reasonable time. I would give it zero stars but that option is not available.

Fantastic experience. Another first for me, I’ve always almost gone to Cracker Barrel, this time I actually pulled the trigger. The food came out fast, fresh, and just the way we wanted it. Signature flavors to say the least, I should of gotten a box of pancake mix for the country store inside. Bottom line, it’s worth the drive and the money.

Food is delicious and staff is friendly and helpful. The dining area was very cold. The wait was a bit long, but worth it. The country store is great, you can shop and look around at all the neat items and goodies they sell there while you wait.

The chicken and French toast are delicious 😋 . The Mochas and lates are very recommended 👌. It's a good place not only for breakfast, it's perfect for lunch and dinner as well. 👍🏻 🍳

Their dining area is open. Seating is limited (Covid-19) and spacing is good. It was nice to finally go out and sit down to enjoy dinner at a restaurant. Our server was poilte and friendly. Thank you Cracked Barrel for opening your doors for us to enjoy an evening out with good food. Hopefully many other businesses will do the same as you have with your business.

Cracker Barrel is childhood favorite with plenty of delicious food to choose from. The service is always great and food arrives nice and hot every time. My personal favorite food is the macaroni and cheese and the mashed potatoes with gravy. It is savory and creamy and just overall really tasty. I've had the ham, chicken, and country vegetable plates with these as sides and everything is always great. The desserts are also amazing if you have room for them. Portions are large and we often bring food home to have a nice dinner. I highly recommend the apple pie with streusel topping, it's nice and sweet with a good blend of spices and if you have it hot with some ice cream it is absolutely perfect. The little store up front is nice too. It's not a large selection of items, but there is the occasional novelty that you tend to find that you can't go without buying. It's a charming atmosphere that makes waiting to be seated or just walking off the food really enjoyable. This is one restaurant I have always loved that has hardly changed over the years. Try it if you haven't, you will not regret it.

The Cracker Barrel we visited was excellent 👍 the hostess and waitress. Super friendly and service with a smile ☺️ And the food was delicious. Took my wife to the Cracker Barrel for her first experience, she loved 😍 it. We visited TX and NM. Looking to stop by on our next visit. Thank you for the great experience. 👍🙂 Oh yes... highly recommend.

The server was extremely polite,I haven't been there in a very long time, back then the restaurant had double the size, was really pretty and had a big salad bar.I was surprised of the drastic change now it looks just like another cafeteria with a gift shop in it.About food:my salad didn't match the description on the menu.....I had grilled chickens salad.menu says boil egg on it ....I didn't get one,it's ok I'm not going to die about that😂we order corn bread,I just posted a pic of them....they were over backed hard and dark.server told us that they were eatable🤷🏻‍♀️I think that was terrible from them since it's a restaurant and not a bar, what I mean it's that we went to eat food we expected to get good quality from a restaurant not from a bar,in a bar you go for drinks and don't expect to get everything 5 star since their specialty it's drinks not food, right?!!? anyway my companion ordered meat loaf and all I see was a pile of ground beef and that it's why they just get 3 stars.Places was not that crowded.Restaurant was clean employees were working hard all the time trying to keep the place clean.Desert was delicious.Hope next time I would get a better experience 👍👍👍👍This review is asking me how much did I pay,but I didn't pay so I guess it was around 50 for dinner😶thanks for reading.

Restaurant was severely under staffed, as maybe the management was trying to bring labor costs down. There were at least 8 items "out" (not available) on the menu. Wait time for water and between drinks, and main entrees was extremely long. Keep in mind there were only about 15 tables occupied. Totally disappointed. Haven't been to a Cracker Barrell since 2012. Probably won't go back till 2033.

I placed a to go order and the food was slightly warm and the meats were over cooked completely. On the app I requested utensils since we are staying in a hotel and there were no utensils packed. I returned to ask for them and was told they ran out the day before. And to top it off...a long hair in the hash browns. Very dissatisfied with the quality of food.

Treated my 3 teen grandchildren to lunch and everyone enjoyed their meal (hamburger/fries; chicken dumplings; chicken platter). We did have a short wait before being seated; and there was another delay in our meals being served; but it being the Christmas season, the restaurant was very very busy. Our waitress Kathleen served us delicious biscuits while we waited; she was very attentive. And the gift store was very well stocked with reasonably priced gift items. We each left with a must-have item😄

Visited on Valentine's Day. Party of six in our group. We didn't wait more than 15 minutes to be seated. A plus. The waiter was nice and proficient a second plus. When we got our food, there were double plates with pecan pancakes on our table. Would have been great if two people in our group weren't allergic to pecans. The biscuits and hash browns were very dry and bland. It wasn't worth the 45 minute drive to get there. Truly disappointed.

I ordered Hash brown Egg Castle which come with cheese, tomato and green onion. When i got my plate they didn’t add tomatoes nor green onions. Spoke to the host and he brought me only tomatoes. In general the food was good.

Great place and the food is delicious. Staff is friendly and attentive. We come often to eat here and have never had a bad experience and prices are great. I would have given it 5 stars but on this last visit I just found out that they did away with my favorite dish which was the catfish dinner. Pretty bummed about it but overall great place to come and eat.

Below par , this is embarrassing to old country . I’ve only had Cracker Barrel’s in North Carolina , and lord was it awesome . Here it’s absolutely garbage . Waitress wasn’t even friendly and charged me for syrup , when I ordered pancakes lol. Shouldn’t syrup come with a order of pancakes ??

We're not regular visitors to Cracker Barrel and this, our 1st visit to this location, may be a system wide issue rather than this location specifically, but it was nearly an hour after first being seated that my wife and I finally received our food. The breakfast ham, sausage and bacon as well as the French toast all appeared and tasted as though it had been pre-cooked hours before and barely edible. My wife wanted the Take-Home an additional meal for $5 and chose the Fried Chicken with Mac n Cheese. It wasn't until we got home that we realized that although it was marked correctly....that wasn't what we got (see picture). All in all, the slow service, less than expected food quality, and sloppy attention to basic tasks, we definitely won't be visiting this location again.

  • 5/5 Rick V. 9 months ago on Google
Rainbow trout and country fried steak were above average. In our previous visit we had the home style fried chicken and that was very good. Overall it was a good experience and we will return.

The food is amazing I had the catfish with green beans and sweet corn. It was so delicious I ordered the steak with apples green beans and sweet corn to carry out for a late dinner. I warmed it up at dinner time and it was just like I had just ordered it. I saw so many other dishes I plan to go back to eat. I love Cracker Barrel. To top it all off I purchased candy that I had eaten when I was a child. A bit of nostalgia was great for me. Do yourself a favor and dine at Cracker Barrel you won't be disappointed.

I love eating here! Dining in the food always comes out super delicious! The only reason why I’m not giving it 5 stars is because every time I order a to-go, they always miss something from my order. And the curbside isn’t even curbside. I don’t mind going in for my food but that’s why I order it for curbside so that I can wait in my car and leave on the spot! Defeats the whole purpose of curbside. The fries do come out burnt sometimes, as you can see from the picture. But other than that the food is delicious!

  • 1/5 Angela H. 9 months ago on Google
Wow, the only thing good about my meal was the waitress Rose, who was doing everything she could to make it better. The bacon had no flavor what so ever, my eggs weren't scrambled soft, and the kitchen was very slow. This is my 2nd meal here, and it's been consistently bad.

Food is better when you eat there. VERY cold food, not all the "fixins" were given to us. Service was terrible over the phone, tried to call and add more food andwand told I couldn't. For the amount of money I paid for our order ($100) and driving time it was not worth it at all! VERY dissatisfied with quantity and quality of food.

Third time I've done an online order and they seem to "never got it" even tho my card gets charged then told I have to wait ridiculous times to get my food. I'm done with this place for awhile. Go somewhere where the system works n receives orders.

It’s Mother’s Day. We did curbside pickup and my husband drove 30 minutes there and 30 minutes home because this was what I wanted for breakfast. They refused to pick up the phone when he arrived for curbside pickup, and they were making all curbside customers come inside curing a pandemic. Then he got home and half of our sides were completely missing from the order; we also didn’t get any syrup for our pancakes. It’s not like we can call and complain, because they won’t answer the phone ?

  • 2/5 Vika V. 3 years ago on Google
I feel bad for our poor waiter. They were great! But the management clearly was ineffectual. This place was well staffed but they were almost out of everything. That may be due to the pandemic but they need to help their staff out. Not set them up to fail.

  • 1/5 Virginia M. 3 years ago on Google
Sorry to say, the food was not good. The country fried chicken was tasteless and dry. The mashed potatoes were not mashed well, we're lumpy and dry, and had one tablespoon of gravy. The green beans were all broken up and soggy. Plus a fly just kept flying over our table. My son's and our friends' plates had such small portions of food, looked dry and not appetizing at all. Didn't feel or looked like country home cooking at all. It's the second time I'm disappointed at CrackerBarrel. ( meatloaf was awful.)

Price wise it was not bad but I ordered the sirloin steak and the waitress tells me they are out she could have told me that when she brought us the menu so I ordered the pork chops and that was a huge mistake all in all I was not happy with my meal?

Everything’s great as always except for the host, she told us that order for us to walk from the front door to our table we have to wear our mask then once you are at your table you can take your mask off, whew thank goodness because we didn’t know how we were going to put the food into our mouths with our mask on.

Horrible experience. We ordered our food when we gave our drink order. The wait was crazy long. We ordered a steak well done and even after that long wait it was pink inside. They made another that was so burn on the outside that it was beef jerky. I ordered the sunday chicken and the outside of the chicken was hard. No one cared at all.

As always, very consistent, comfort food. The food was hotter than normal and I absolutely LOVE that. My belly was so happy after a long trip. Our server didn't come back to refill our drinks and that didn't make me happy when a soda is $3 but hopefully she was new. The ladies at the front got us a drink to go and that fixed it. Teamwork....

  • 1/5 Therese W. 3 years ago on Google
Put in a wait list at 10:45 and got here 20 minutes later for the wait. We waited almost 1.5 hours to just be seated, with people constantly being seated upon arrival. This is the most incompetent and ridiculous place. Every time we ask about out wait time, they added time. Once we finally sat down, we waited for a server to come. Drinks took forever to come out, even though it was just tea and water. Food took forever and we had to repeatedly ask for condiments and a single refill. The service was just terrible. The food was cold, some burned and the steak was like eating unseasoned jerky. I have never had a bad Cracker Barrel experience before, but this really ruined it for our whole family. It was over 3 hours from the time we arrived to when we got our food. Just pathetic.
