👍👍 Absolutely incredible food and the salsa bar is elite! The best I've ever had! The Verde salsa was my personal favorite but the best thing on the salsa bar was the Jalapenos. People often mention good, tacos, great, service, salsa, time, order, Paso, delicious, staff,

Legit steak tacos. Hands down the best I’ve had in El Paso! Salsa bar is delicious and the variety is insane.

Loved this place! I got tacos de Alambre with fries and was so impressed at the quality and quantity. Great service too. Only downside was it was a bit small inside and crowded, very hot in there but overall definitely coming back

Authentic and Delicious. I stopped by on a business trip and was really impressed with the enchiladas montadas, friendly staff, and great atmosphere. Was able to watch the soccer game while enjoying great food and sipping margheritas. I watched as a tray of tacos was served to people at a table sitting near me that smelled so good I had to come back a second time on my way back through El Paso. Definitely recommend the Tacos Al Pastor. Definitely coming back next time I am in El Paso.

Busy Taco restaurant. We were a party of 7 and the staff quickly put tables together to accommodate us. Good taco menu selection, I opted for AL Pastor tacos, baked potato. Plate cones with six tacos, grilled onions, sliced radishes, cilantro sprigs and lime slices. Pastor meat was tender (although a bit fatty) and spice was what you would expect from good adobo. Salsa bar was pretty much depleted (we arrived late at night, just prior to closing). But still managed to scoop up a variety of salsas, the Chile Arbol really stood out. Accompanying my meal was a bucket of Model Especial, in a iced down bucket. Overall, good staff, good food and good atmosphere. Treat yourself!!

You walk in and greeted with chips and salsa. They either give you a bowl of beans or this last time tortilla soup. The food is always perfect and I've had different dishes. The beer is always cold which is a plus. The picture is the Mexican plate.

Wonderful Mon and Pop Mexican diner in El Paso. My favorite place to come for Menudo on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Very clean restaurant with super friendly staff. Very family friendly. Highly recommend for tacos and fajitas, especially the Al Pastor and of course the Menudo. Love this place.

Tacos Chinampa is good, but for the price it's great. Service is good and attentive if you're willing to grab their attention. I recommend it for late night grubbing.

I love this place! This was the first place I ever ate at in El Paso almost 6 years ago. I've always talked about their tacos ever since. This was my first time since then, and I'm happy to report that they are still amazing.

We found this jewel two years ago. The flavor, customer service and ambiance has been consistent every time. This restaurant is a great space to eat with friends or family in a relaxed setting. It is like a piece of Mexico! They have a salsa bar where you can choose your flavor and heat. Their carne al pastor is delicious and the portions of food are ginormous. It is not only delicious but a great deal for all that you get. For $70.00, My family of 5 eats until our tummies are content and have leftovers, we get the parrillada familiar (chips, frijoles charros, papas, carne asada y carne al pastor, 2 avocados, 2 green Chiles, queso fundido and all the sides for tacos) and we all get Mexican sodas (the real ones in the glass bottles!). This is one of our favorite restaurants and we don't mind driving all the way from NM. Try it. You are going to love it!

Doin a lil taco tour in El Paso n this was our first stop...it was iight. My tripa was great but the service sucked, the horchata tasted like water, n the salsa bar was just ok...only two I liked. Their tortillas were fresh n handmade, those did actually slap

  • 3/5 Sileyne M. 4 years ago on Google
First timer. Came here becuase they were on an article. So first of they took a min to actually bring us the menu. Then took forever to take our order. I order the horchata and it was so watered down it tasted like water. Server was sweet but we only saw her twice. When we finally ordered and got our food. The meat it self was delicious and the tortillas. Chips were meh and salsa bar was a mess. And they didnt have enough cups or lids which meant I couldn't take any home. When it was time to pay the line was long and I don't know why there was people just jumping in front of the line to pay they're bill... finally paid mine. Kinda pricy for the experience. Overall it wasn't super great like the article made it seem. Probably won't come back.

What a great place. Very nice atmosphere. People are so nice. I asked the waiter to choose for me and he gave me the platter with a bunch of stuff. So good! I can’t wait to come back.

Overall it was pretty good. Fair portions for the prices. Nice salsa bar to choose from, even for take out orders. They do charge extra for anything extra, so be prepared for that. Only issue was the sour cream was complete liquid.

  • 5/5 E C. 2 years ago on Google
Sooooo good! The portion amount matches the prices! We had enchiladas, rice, refried beans, chicken fajitas, etc. Food was unique and very delicious! Wonderful customer service, the lady that helped us was on the phone taking orders and helping others walking in to be seated and place orders. We didn't get her name but she was kind and did her job well. I was shocked she bounced to help someone else and back to us and still had our order correct! Thank you!!! The only bad, Google Maps said the drive-thru was open, it wasn't when we visited.

  • 5/5 Rafael F. 2 years ago on Google
The food is great but they have this man that is a server and he is extremely rude. I say this because Ive been there a dozen or more times and one time i understand but more than five times. No no no!!! he always has jewelry on. He sees you sitting down and he will take forever to ask you what your drinking or having even if you are the only client there, then he forgets to take you ketchup or a refill and you are trying to wave him and he pretends not to see you. I don't know if he's just an employee the or if he is the owner. The only reason I go there is because my father likes the food there and he can't drive so I have to take him.

We’re in town recently on a quick weekend getaway and happened to dip into this spot for a quick dinner and were pleasantly surprised by just how great of an experience it was! The Queso Fundido was not only a beautiful cheese pull, but incredibly tasty as well! The Tripas Tacos were also incredibly tender and came out sizzling hot! Plenty of fresh tortillas as well and wonderfully nice and attentive staff. Great experience overall and would certainly dine with again!

Friendly atmosphere with great staff. I am a person who originates from land of no spice, but have gotten better at tolerating it throughout the years. I found the spiciness level to be very tasty. Pushed my limits just a bit, but in a good and flavorful way with the salsa bar options and the green sauce on the enchiladas. Yum! Saw a nearby table get a huge family portion of the fajitas and it looked amazing! The Arapa meat was delicious. There are also unique candies and flan for deserts. Wish we had a place like this. Prices are very reasonable.

Tried this restaurant for a to-go order almost at closing time. The staff were very friendly and took the order. They provided containers to carry all the different salsa, peppers and condiments. We waited for a few minutes and the food was ready really fast. The restaurant is right next to the Hilton Garden Inn and has plenty of parking. Conveniently located. We got back to the hotel and tasted the food. Simple yet tasty preparation. The spicy salsa verde was definitely my favorite. It enhanced the flavor of the chicken fajitas and rice. My colleague enjoyed her food too. You cannot go wrong with authentic Mexican food here. Pricing : Moderate Will I return : Definitely!

Came here for breakfast. Service is attentive and friendly. Parking area is a bit tight but not a deal breaker. All of my party enjoyed their breakfast plates. I had the menudo and though it was tasty, it was lukewarm. I'll give em a try again, soon.

No frills Mexican restaurant. Open salsa bar is a nice touch but could've been cleaner. Fair prices and portions. Easy walk from the Hyatt Place down the street.

Salsa bar had some of the best options I have had, all distinctly different. Tacos de Alambre and got a mixed meat blend, super tasty, amazing refried beans. Come here for tacos and the salsa bar.

They change the papa asada on the parrillada for the box mashed potato and added a few potatoes and I dislike that very much the taste and quantity changed, everything else is good.

I haven't been to this place in a while. The return was bittersweet. I was stunned that my Al Pastor tacos were not fresh. The meat was dry and tasted reheated. The tortillas weren't fresh either. Then I looked at the lines and they had been sliced at least a day earlier. You could tell I was being served yesterday stuff. Yet the place was about 25% to capacity and the patrons looked happy. Gotta give the place a little respect, as I did feel I was back in Mexico for my whole visit. The staff were nice but there was a lack of cheer. Did I make my return on a bad day? Who knows.....but I don't think I want to go back and find out.

We ordered a parrillada for 2 best part about it was probably the baked potatoes. The meat was very dry and the tortillas very hard.

They gave us our food upside down and it spilled all over us and in the car which will need to be deep cleaned. Plus the lady at the drive through had SUCH a bad attitude, and disappeared with our card for 10-15 minutes. It was just horrible. The food wasn’t bad but it was a terrible experience

We are not from El Paso, but we wanted to try the Mexican food in this town. This taco place popped up on my maps as I was searching for somewhere to eat. I must say the food and hospitality was great! They even had a mariachi band there too and the music was great also! The only negative thing I would have to say about it, is there was hardly anywhere to stand as we were waiting for a table.

Do NOT get their tripitas. I repeat, do NOT get their tripitas. They are not good and are not cooked well AT ALL. I've had them on 2 occasions, giving them the benefit of the doubt. First time, after asking for them to be cooked in the middle, (not soft not crispy) came out fried to a crisp. Dine-in way before covid. 2nd time during covid, drive thru. Asked for them soft...it was like chewing crispy rubber with no flavor. Three stars due to everything else I've tried there is pretty good.

Food was amazing. We ordered a child's order of flautas, alambre tacos, and parrilladas (for one) with chicken and beef fajita. The two non child orders also came with a baked potato. Several types of salsas, butter, cheese (upon request), and sour cream were provided along with a TON of small corn tortillas. It also came with grilled onions, cilantro, radishes, and lime. The chicken fajita was bland but all the rest of the meat and food was awesome. The lady at the window was really friendly and helpful. It was a bit weird and difficult to figure out where to order. The listing says its open for dine in. We went to the front door and it was locked. Sign said to use side door to enter. Side door was locked. They have a drive thru window and we finally found that they were using that to take and give out orders. A sign stating they weren't open, or an employee pointing us in the right direction would have made it easier to figure it out.

Food is great, awesome if anything. Well prepared the staff is nice and friendly too. The only reason I don't do 5 stars is because of how the over look of the place looks. Could be a bit more clean and organized.

It was terrible, the service, food. Terrible! Ik this whole pandemic is hard to work in especially for a small business. But there is no excuse for messing up an order so badly. The meat was mixed with others meats that I did not ask for. I got a veggie burrito, they messed up the order. I respectively told them that the order was mest up. I gave it back to them, and they didn’t change anything. You give us Mexicans a bad rep for being lazy and uncaring. Do Better.
