Three friends of mine and I went to eat here, but the waiter informed us that they were short staffed and there was only one chef and he had a bunch of orders already and if we could wait a bit before taking our order. We were totally fine with it so we did. It actually wasn't too long and after we put in our orders, the food came out rather quickly! And not only that, it was absolutely delicious! We were all very impressed with the chef! I wish we would have thanked him so here it is now: Thank you so much Lone Chef for an amazing meal! We had a great time and left completely stuffed. Oh the waiters were also good. Highly recommend this place. 👍🏼

Both my husband and I love the food! And never had a problem till now. First of all as we walk, and boy if looks could kill! We did not receive a greeting other than, " what would you have to drink". So we must of been there maybe 10/15 minutes and still nobody bothered to take our order. I will say this, we waited long enough for us to notice how disgusting and dirty the restaurant is, from the bathroom up to the dining area!! Every single light fixture, decor and ventilation system, we're all caked on with grease and uber amounts of dirt and lint. Then I started imagining all of that junk falling on my food and drinks. Never again we walked out!!!!! What the F*** happened to you Sabertooth!!!!

The food was FANTASTIC! I’m visiting & this is one of the best places I’ve eaten in El Paso! Highly recommend. My burger was perfection & they put it in a lettuce wrap for me bc I’m sensitive to gluten 🙌🏻

Oh God. The food was fantastic! It's a nice small place, delightful. Open kitchen so you can see everything as your food is prepped. The guys in the kitchen kept a good hustle throughout the visit even when they slowed down they were on the move, keeping things things cleaned up and organized. Very impressed.

Excellent spot! Yummy food, friendly staff. Very relaxing & casual atmosphere. The menu isn't big, but with enough choices for meat eater, vegetarian & pescatarian; sandwich, burger, taco, salad, nacho, hummus.... Food r made to order, great price. A nice patio by the way. Updated: food is still tasty, however, portions became small but price increased, especially for drinks

If I could give this place more stars I would! I loved the customer service. Very fast and very nice! I felt welcomed as soon as I walked in. I ordered the apricot Siracha burger and it was phenomenal. Cooks were working very hard and so were the servers overall EVERYTHING was amazing. I will definitely be coming back and recommending this place.

Rest of the food my friends ordered looked ok. But seriously, this is what they served me for $13 tacos. Store bought microwaved tortillas, and less meat than you would get for dollar taco night at a church fundraiser. Ridiculous.

What a fun and delicious place! Amazing mushroom tacos! The quinoa bowl and Mexican bowl are so so so good! The atmosphere is fantastic. The bar has great drinks. What a great find in El Paso!

Host/waitress was eating when we came in. Weird but easy to look past. Staff was friendly. From the not knowing if they had enough lemonade for both our- my husband and myself- to being out of lettuce for wraps, I wasn't blown away. My husband's veggie bowl with steak was good. Filling but not over filling. My jalapeno bacon Burger was well done and delicious. However it lacked flavor. The sauce overpowered and canceled out the taste of the jalapeno and the bacon. The fries were perfection. The ingredients were above average in quality as well as the presentation. Their menu offered many healthy and tasty options. Overall would come visit again

Delicious food, the restaurant is a bit small but who cares just eat. I still remember the 1st time I met sabertooth, it was magical. All their dishes are amazing and you can order the food from next door pet-friendly bar, what else can you ask for.

This spot has the ambiance of a late night dive roadside diner, but don't be deceived the food is satisfyingly eclectic and uniquely El Chuco! No alcohol but they serve if you're at the bat next door, likewise you can walk over buy drinks and come back to the restaurant. Great apps (salsa sampler), awesome main dishes. Don't miss the spicy pulled pork tacos, Paleo style, sans tortilla!

Laid back but attentive staff. The bar next door (Hope & Anchor) is very welcoming and offers a broad-range of beverages. You're allowed to take your drinks from one side to the next, as well as do the same with your meal. I don't do well with a lot of spice, and the side dishes I tried, 5-cheese Mac & cheese and the desert bites appetizer, both had a tremendous amount of chili powder, even though I asked for little or no spice. The air circulation based on the floor plan for Sabertooth isn't well-designed so it feels stuffy and warm inside. Once you get your food or bite to eat, head next door.

Bistro items prepared before your eyes. The flavors used here are unique in El Paso and that makes me keep coming for more. My favorite dish are the fish tacos which are meticulously prepared with light breaded pieces of fish, condiments, cabbage, and their delicious salsas to die for. The service is excellent overall and be sure you will find a chair available at least by the bar so you won't go hungry! Thank you for making my meals awesome ??

Excellent, friendly, patient service. I ordered a chicken veggie bowl and my husband ordered a Cuban sandwich. Food was good. The atmosphere was chill as we went on a Tuesday night 45 mins before closing. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Chefs kiss! The food was amazing! The price even better. The food looked so delicious and tasted delicious we forgot to take a picture. The staff is very nice and friendly. Will definitely come again. For bar drinks you can go next door.

The food here is hands down the best tacos I have ever had in EL Paso since I been here. I ordered the fish Tacos and Shrimp tacos. It was dressed with beautiful and tasty ingredients just how a taco should be. I ordered 10 tacos total. It was finger licking good. The inside is nice and clean. I give this place a 10/10

Love this cute little spot next to Hope and Anchor. The saber tooth side is super small but you can’t get service while in the patio or inside at Hope and Anchor. Personally wouldn’t order the steak tacos, not because they aren’t good, but solely because their steak tacos are only steak and tortilla. Compared to other taco options on their menu, the steak option is the most simple and perfect for picky eaters! My favorite is the fish tacos! The sauce is yummy and all the toppings really pull everything together! If you’re on the fence about wether to get 3 or 5, just get the 5 you will not be disappointed. Love the poutine fries made with fresh cut potatoes! The Mac and cheese is really good and made with penne pasta which is an interesting choice but the cheesiness is on point !

Stopped by this gem while traveling through. Highly recommend the veggie nachos. I really enjoyed listening to the kitchen work together while cooking, and the music was a great vibe.

Update: Went back at a different time of day on Taco Thursday. All of the Instagram posts state $2 tacos and the server informed us it was also $2 tacos, no disclaimers or stipulations are posted on their posts nor was anything stated by the server. Went to order and we were told we couldn't actually order individual flavors of tacos for $2, but had to order tacos in packs of 3 or 5 all the same kind. This seems like false advertisement on their part as it isn't actually $2 tacos but a DISCOUNT on their taco packs ie 3 for $8 becomes 3 for $6 and 5 for $12 becomes 5 for $10. This needs to be stated by their servers and their posts as it feels like false information. Maybe offer a pack with multiple taco flavors? We were also disappointed in the quality of our tacos this time around. The meat tasted like plastic. Server wasn't as friendly as the previous visit. Burgers were decent and fries are always good though. Friendly staff, fast service and the food was good. My family is already asking when they can go back for tacos and fries!

Veggie sandwich and veggie tacos are bomb. Fiesta bowl with the ranchero beans, cilantro rice, greens and avocado is delicious! Outdoor dining is the only dine in option at the time of this review.

We loved both their fish and pulled pork tacos. I only wished they put a little oil on the tortillas so they didn't fall apart so easily! Overall, I would come again next time passing through El Paso.

Saberooth was delicious. Do not let the exterior fool you. The apricot Sriracha burger was delicious and the fish tacos were the best I've had in a long time. Staff was very friendly.

Awesome cozy spot that is open late I had the Cubano and wow it was fantastic everything is made fresh. The chef really rallies his cooks and gets them on point. For sure an awesome place to go on a date night or to just hangout with friends. Highly recommend.

This place is a small local eatery with amazing flavors. Kale salad always fresh. Portions are generous and pricing is fair. I love that the kitchen is open until 3am and that right next door they have a pet friendly beer garden outside. Sweet little spot in El Paso. Doesn't disappoint.

I came for the Shrimp Tacos but instead got the Pork Torta.. and it was hands down the best pork torta I have ever had!

Got the wrong set of burgers and when I called they pretty much said meh too bad and sorry. Was looking forward to enjoying the right burgers

Very nice range of food for every taste and diet. Tacos are pretty standard, but the sandwiches and fried items are real standouts and show a lot of care. The bustling atmosphere and friendly service make this a nice stop for lunch or a late night snack

What can I say? The food here is uniquely delicious. I love the fish tacos,the quinoa wraps and the vegetarian tacos were amazing. This place is cozy and is great to come with just a friend or two. There is one bigger table to fit up to 8 people. I also like the customer service. Overall is a great little gem?

I went there for the first time with my friends to get sometacos. The environment was nice but the service is horrible!! When we came and sat outsideI noticed how rude waiter acted. Particularly when he talking to my friend. They took a while to come to ask what we wanted and as soon as he came he said “You need something ?” and just before he came my friends were talking about how bad their service is and wondering why they’re like that and one of my homies didn’t even order because he got turned off by how they treated us.

Holy hell. This place is fantastic! Very cool vibe, kind of fun that you can watch the chefs cook in real time (and they keep up quite nicely)! They make dishes as simple as disco fries or fish tacos absolutely packed with flavor and creative touches. Def check this one out.

I went here with my boyfriend to try it for the first time. Reviews seemed good. Unfortunately, we were completely ignored. None of the workers acknowledged our presence. We stayed for about 10 minutes then had to go to a different restaurant. So disappointing. We’ve decided we’ll give it another try in the future and maybe I can write a better review.
