Magic bistro was recommended to me and was not disappointed whatsoever. Everything exceeded my expectations Our waitress Brittany was phenomenal. All the food tasted great. I will definitely be back!

We had our Celebration of Appreciation for our wellness team and it was perfection! The food was superb the staff were lovely💕 the ambiance serene and. beautiful💞A wonderful and memorable occassion!

My party left without eating. We came for lunch during the week. I ordered the adult grilled cheese. It was served cold with unbuttered and untoasted bread. When I brought this to the waiters attention, he said he would have to talk to the manager to see what to do. Weird but whatever. He returned and said they would remake my food and the cold food from another person in my party. While waiting for our remakes, we noticed that another take has been seated, ordered, received their appetizer and entre and finished eating in the time between us finishing our appetizer and getting our cold food. Our server was nowhere to be found. We could see the manager sitting at the counter on his computer surrounded by plates needing to be served but he seemed unconcerned. We decided not to wait. As we left, we passed the manager who seemed not to acknowledge us. He did tell the server not charge us. That's nice but I would have gladly paid for my drink and the meal from the rest of our party if he had spoken to us directly. One star because the soup was okay. PS As we were making a purchase in the gift shop, we witnessed our returned food being put in Togo boxes. I'm not sure who it was going to but it was not us.

This place was packed when we visited and yet the service was fast and professional. The restaurant is slightly hidden and is very cute both inside and out. We ordered a burger and a sandwich and they were both delicious.

The Magic Bistro was a tasty, almost small town experience that brought back memories of my home town while also bringing in some new experiences. Food: $$ Decently priced lunch special that came with a soup, house salad, and half sandwich. I got the Reuben which had a delicate taste yet filled with meat and sauerkraut. The sandwich I felt was fairly balanced between both that left me knowing I would definitely be back again. The soup was chicken and wild rice and was decent. The soup consistency was thick and creamy but lacked much in the category of explosive flavor. Atmosphere: Very small town restaurant feel where the inside seems a little claustrophobic and outdated with mural painted walls, old wine cabinets with mirrors to make the restaurant seem larger. The layout inside is a little drab and I didn't really enjoy it much though I will say the outdoor seating area seemed sublime and will definitely come back to try that out. Overall: The food was good and atmosphere was strange but nostalgic. Though most dishes lacked in flavor, they were good enough to make me want to come back. I will definitely be back for the food but will probably try to sit outside.

Ordered a glass of sangria and it looked and tasted like stale white wine, told waiter it wasn't sangria came back with same glass of white wine just with a couple slices of green apple, absolutely horrible!! Food is fair.

I stopped by for a pick up order today and was waiting OUTSIDE about 40 feet away from the front door, when some HORRIBLE, PARANOID woman wouldn't walk past me because I didn't have a mask on. The moment SHE walked INSIDE the restaurant she took off her mask and complained to the OWNER that I didn't have a mask on. He came out and told me to go wait in my car and that I couldn't stand OUTSIDE THE PERIMETER OF HIS RESTAURANT. I guess he doesn't want my business. He won't be getting it. The food was fair, but expensive. If you like being treated like something you scrape off your shoes, this is the place for you!

My party and I left still hungry. We came for lunch during the week. One person in my party ordered a grilled cheese that was niether grilled or cheesy. The other person in my party ordered a pastrami sandwich which they did not eat because it was luke warm and not very good. I also ordered a hot sandwich and it was also luke warm. It took about 45 minutes for our sandwiches to come out of the kitchen. The grilled cheese and I sent our sandwiches back, however after waiting another 20 minutes for the new sandwiches to come out, we decided to leave. As we were leaving, the manager was sitting at the counter with the food waiting to be served and chose not acknowledge us or the situation. Clearly, the poor quality of service and food came directly from the manager who seemed unconcerned and was putting our returned food in a to-go box as we left.

Great food and good service. The sweet potato fries with marshmallow dip is basically your dessert. 😋 Lots of great sandwich, salad, and soup options.

My first time here and I think I found a new favorite spot. Easy to miss while driving down Doniphan but hidden within a labyrinth local shops! The server was great and always attentive. The food was fantastic. I ordered the apricot turkey sandwich with avocado but requested raspberry Chipotle sauce... Oh My Delicious! The sweet potato waffle fries are the best I've tasted in town. Flavorful, savory and crispy without a greasy aftertaste! Everyone enjoyed their food. Glad a friend recommended it.

First time visit and very wonderful experience 😊 the sandwich combo just perfect size, the basil turkey sandwich was delicious, my husband enjoyed a pastrami sandwich very good too then we also enjoyed a key lime pie it was a little frozen but we ended up taking it and at room temperature was delicious. Service was excellent 👌 Ruby us a great server. Will try the Salmon sandwich next time. P.S we waited a little while for our lunch because for some reason the system did not process and didn't forward our order to the kitchen it was worth the wait, we enjoy it. However the owner decided to NOT charge us for our lunch sure was another surprise and a big blessing.

We went for lunch with friends. While the food is good, recommend this place for the ambiance. I generally get the Rueben sandwich or their soup. Desert this time was the key lime pie; it was frozen so gets a downgrade on quality. Waiters were friendly but not particularly speedy. In particular, they didn't manage to get coffee to us in a timely manner, both in the beginning and refills. This is not my general experience so it may just have been the day. What we really go for is the patio ambiance. It is a great place to hang out with friends. Do bring a hat if you are doing the patio experience as the sun can sneak through the branches and hit you in the eyes. There is indoor dining as well.

The Magic Bistro is still the magical place its always been. We dined on a Saturday night and the ambiance was quaint, private and perfect for a couple to share a delicious dinner without noise. My husband had the Wasabi Seared Ahi Tuna and I had the special of the night, which was the Ribeye with Buttered Shallots and both were delectable. We started our dinner with Prosciutto wrapped Asparagus and Pesto Flatbread. Our waiter Manny, perfectly paired our dinner with the right bottle of wine and provided the highest quality of service throughout our dinner. We ended our evening with the Creme Brulee and the Bread Pudding. Both were delicious! As per Manny's suggestion, we will visit for lunch very soon. I highly recommend the Magic Bistro as our evening was a success!

Wow. Wat a great place. Another El Paso best kept secret. It had been years since my last visit. The outdoor Garden Dinning area was perfect, decorated well, nice water fixture, great plants just extremely cozy. Kinda forgot I was in El Paso. Food was great the presentation was even better. I had the Rib Eye it was serve red with well seasoned Asparagus and a corn and green Chile Casserole which was amazing. My guest had the salmon which was great too. The best homemade brownies EVER. Can’t wait to return for lunch. The lunch looks great. Excellent service. Will be back over and over. Great place for a private function as well.

Great fresh food and outstanding service

I haven't eaten at the Magic Pan in years, but today I decided to dine there and it turns out it's Closed on Monday's. Also, the Marketplace Antigues, Artifacts, and Art Collectibles store is also Closed 😳.

We’ve always enjoyed dining at Magic Bistro over the last 10 years since we moved to El Paso. It is truly a hidden gem. Not only do they provide a consistent experience for regular dining, we were able to have first hand experience with their catering and events. We had a last minute graduation luncheon to plan and luckily Magic Bistro had the date and time open that we needed. Not sure if it was luck or fate. From the first time communicating with John he was very friendly, straightforward and simple. He made the entire scheduling and planning stress free. On the day of the event, the dining room was set up beautifully and everything was what we expected. The staff and servers were beyond superb! Everyone raved about how excellent the service and food were, which every item was truly delicious. It was my first time having the Chile relleno quiche and I quickly understand why they are known for it. Needless to say I could go on and on about Magic Bistro. At the end of the day, John and his entire staff were amazing. We look forward to going back to dine. Thank you again to John and his staff for the wonderful stress free experience!

Mixed reviews here. The quoted wait time was quicker than expected. We had to ask a waitress to take our order. Then we didn't get visited during the whole meal, running out of water. Then, waiting for our check we finally had to go to host to ask for our check. Terrible service. Food was good but not extraordinary. All sandwiches were very over-dressed and the fries were a little heavy tasting.

CONGRATULATIONS, MB on making our VDay night so special. We were married here in 2021 and really reminisced. All 5 courses were creatively new and fun perfection! It really was an adventure in flavor! We had the salmon and the beef tenderloin for the main course and were impressed by both! Courses were appropriately sized as well. This is usually a great lunch spot, I've only been able to make it on Sunday recently and I have to say the service dips. From the time to get my drinks to the time it takes to get my food. Note: it hasn't been busy when we've come in and it's still slow and noisy. Me and the other few tables could hear loud, informal staff conversation and jokes. Last Sunday I had to go outside and ask the host to move us outside from inside due to noise. This Sunday was unfortunately too cold so I didn't request to be moved outside. I was going to speak to the person seemingly in charge but she was partaking in conversation and joking along with the staff. The noise level made it incredibly challenging to have a conversation with my dining companions, causing us to miss out on the enjoyment of sharing our thoughts and experiences over a meal. While the food at this restaurant was undeniably delicious, with a variety of mouthwatering options that satisfied our palates, the overwhelming noise and delay to receive food overshadowed the positives. I hope that this restaurant management takes steps to address the noise issue and create a more enjoyable environment. Edit: I returned to the restaurant and asked for John but the host informed me he was not there today but pointed me to the general manager Reuben and asked if I wanted to speak with him I declined as I just wanted to let the owner know I appreciate his response here. I still sat and ate as usual to my delight it was quiet and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience for the most part. Unfortunately I noticed that once the general manager left the noise and loud conversations returned. I again was going to speak to the lady left in charge but she was texting or using her Smart watch while servers also joked around. I believe the problem is there is no proper management on weekends.

Rarely do I leave reviews. Some girlfriends and I just finished lunch. Lunch was great. The only issue I had was that I had the servers spill mimosas on my friends and I accidentally... which is fine it happens. However, when I asked to speak to a manager I was rudely told by the waitress "I am the manager if you want to complain about this silly little issue it can be done through me.". The issue wasn't little or silly but ok. The other server Taylor later apologized for her and gave me a towel for my purse that got wet. Food is fantastic. The area is beautiful. Hospitality needs improvement.

This place is a gem. The basil Turkey and apricot Turkey sandwiches are sooo good. The homemade potato chips are a perfect pairing. The key lime pie was good but could do without the crunchies on top. The brownie is also a great dessert.

The ambiance is perfect, tranquil, and quaint. The food is unique and healthy. The service is always above par! The little shops inside the Bistro are fun to look around and I always find something that I cannot leave without!

It was our first experience at the Magic bistro this week. We were able to celebrate my daughter’s wedding there. During the time of us arriving to El Paso John was extremely helpful and accommodating. When we finally was able to stop in and have some lunch there before the wedding we were speechless. First of all the ambience Is amazing and you’re secluded in your own little beautiful oasis. Now the food was phenomenal. One of the girls had the pasta with white sauce, I had a pastrami sandwich which was to die for, my other daughter had the tuna salad and it was delicious. And the bride to be how does salmon sandwich. If I lived in El Paso this would definitely be my favorite place to go to. The wedding was beautiful the next day our server memo went above and beyond to take care of us. And even with all of our hiccups and all the things that we would like to do they helped in anyway they could. I would highly suggest this place you will not be disappointed. Thank you Magic bistro and all your amazing staff that made our day magical.
