Restaurant Market Puerto rican restaurant

😐 Place was nice and clean and everyone was very polite. Wait time to get someone over to take your food was very long. I had to sit and wait. The food was decent. The mofongo was a bit over the top with garlic however. The chicken was a bit burnt but it wasn’t that bad. Place is ok to visit just once... People often mention service, Puerto, good, Rican, Great, great, Excellent, mofongo, delicious, home,

We are so happy this place opened again!! The staff is always friendly and helpful in telling you what everything is in the menu. My husband and I love to come. The food is delicious, and u always leave nice and full. I love the mofongo here, we are still trying most of the dishes, but we haven't been disappointed yet... Try their piña coladas they are so good 👍 😋 Give it a try, and I am sure you will become a regular like us They always have salsa music, which we love as well They have remodeled the place as well.

On a long road trip, and choose this out of the available Puerto Rican restaurants in El Paso. Ashley, the owner/server was very personable and friendly. She catered to our families needs and wants. Customer service excellence. The food was very authentic and thus delicious. You won't be disappointed.

You leave the restaurant speechless. The food is so delicious. Good portion sizes and the staff if very nice and helpful. We tried the tostones and Pastelillos with Guava and Cheese and they are an experience in it's self.

Excellent Puerto Rican restaurant, you feel a great Latin atmosphere once you enter. Tastefully decorated, and the wall murals make you feel right at home. The service, excellent, with a smile that want you to stay longer and get back to work late; the food is excellent, from the menu to the presentation, and you can’t ask for a better home Puerto Rican food taste, was great, I visited 3 days in a row in a 5 day stay and wanted to go again. Keep up the great service and quality of food!!!

I don't like to give bad reviews, but the food here was not up to par with PR food. The beans had no pork nor pumkin and the beans stew was to watery, the skirt steak was not as good either, the arroz manposteado didn't have sweet plantains nor pork which should of had, I asked for tea and it was more sugar than tea had to had a glass of water to break it down I left 85% of it, my question is if you know its that bad why offer it, uff, didn't see any appitizers or deserts on the menu, I give them this the fried plantains and the bifongo was decent. For those who don't know spanish food enjoy, but I will not return. and pay $83.00 for what they served it was not worth it, and I gave the girl 15.00 tip for a total of 98.00, because she making a living and was nice person its not her fault.

Some of the best food I have ever had! It looked amazing and tasted even better. I just finished and I already cannot wait to come again. Price point is around $10 per plate, but the food taste like it came from a fine dining restaurant that could charge $40 per plate. The menu is not in English, but the friendly staff will walk you through it and help you order something amazing.

Excellent service and the pernil was tasty, suavecito and juicy.I got over charged for a coco Rico ( diet) . They didn't have any but I'm sure on my way back they will reimburse me the $2 or make up for it. Notice on the picture a diet Coke.

I tried my first Puerto Rican dish here and this was the first time I visited El Paso. Francesco was the man who helped me out in choosing what to eat. He was friendly and professional and understood exactly what I wanted. He suggested the 'La Sanse' and it was simply DELICIOUS !! Excellent decor, delicious food and friendly service. I also had a Pina Colada and that was good too !!

Excellent Puerto Rican food and the service was great. Unfortunately, it's not a place we could go regularly. It's a bit pricey. Dinner for our family of 4 was well over $100. That was an appetizer to share, regular dinner plate each, basic drinks (sodas and a beer), no desserts, and an average tip. The portions are large so we did end up taking leftovers home for lunch the next day. The menu items that were smaller portions, such as the sandwiches, were not available when we went we arrived around 4:30pm. I guess lunch may provide some less expensive options.

I don't know about this place. The ambiance is very Puerto Rican and I love the little store but the food lacks flavor. Love what there doing here but you cannot run out of food and specifically plantains on a Friday! Didn't like the fact the some of us had to pick and choose whom would get the mofongo option. I tried the mofongo it was very very plain and lacked savor'd it needs some garlic, salt something! We also tried the chuleta Kan Kan. The fried skin was hard as a rock normally its supposed to be like a very crispy chicharron. I also tried the rice and it needs more goya or something maybe SALT! My suggestion is that they revise the menu as well since most of the dishes only give you either rice or mofongo as the option they really need to minimize both serving sizes and put both on the plate for multiple dishes that are on there menu. I would also suggest if they continue to use there own recipe that they put some salt and pepper shakers on the table because my people were dying for some salt we should not have to ask for the salt shaker. Will return so lets work on it si.
