My job catered from El Cometa and I have to say it was the best flautas I’ve had in a long time! I’ll definitely be visiting this place soon!

Lunch was great. Had the tacos Al pastor. Plenty of food and the horchata was delicious. Great salsa bar. Cheers!

The food is really good. Super cheap and the place was really clean when I visited. They only sell meat such as Alambre and pastor. In my case we went there for breakfast and I about 1 hour later a lot of people started to fill in the place so I recommend that if you’re planing to go eat to go early.

We were visiting El Paso, and a friend brought us here for authentic Mexican food. It was great. My wife tried the flautas and loved them. My quesadilla was great. The portions were huge.

This place is really busy. It’s known for their authentic flautas. There is plenty of seating and parking. Not your typical mainstream type of Mexican spot. No combo plates. The salsas are all a bit on the spicy side for me and I typically go with medium salsas here in So Cal.

Your best options are tacos de alambre or the flautas. Aguas are so refreshing too. Delicious fixings with chips.

Travel five hours to eat there, the food was ok not the best Mexican food. Tried almost everything on the menu, the Flutas about the best tasting food on the menu . Found a hair in my daughter plate and one in my food. We will never return.

The definition of comet is as follows, "a celestial object consisting of a nucleus of ice and dust and, when near the sun, a “tail” of gas and dust particles pointing away from the sun". What does this mean you might ask??? Absolutely nothing, but this food is food which makes it edible and I put it in my mouth hole. I have only been here 4 times in my life, and I can say for certain that I been here 4 times in my life. So let me tell you a story, a story that transcends time and space. The last person I took here said she has recently found a place with better tacos. Can you guys believe that?! I was flabbergasted, stupefied, gobsmacked, astonished even. I need to eat those new tacos. Anyways, this place is good. Goodbye everyone.

The flautas and pepper & onion steak tacos are amazing. There was a very long line to get in and another developed while we were sitting which is a sign the food here is very good.

Food is good prices went up but that’s okay being that the food is good. Restaurant is always crowded and music is playing ridiculously loud from the cook area not to mention it’s corridos talking about killing cops etc I listen to em too don’t get me wrong but not at a family oriented place so the guests can hear not everyone wants their children listening to that call me a Karen but I didn’t like my child listening to it so we took off. Overall line was all the way to the door but it moved fast. Waiting on my order took about 20-25 minutes though. If you’re not in a hurry and don’t mind the wait I DO recommend the food.

Delicious food. Every bite was a treat. Very interesting experience. I'm happy we found this place on our visit to El Paso.

The Al Pastor is described as "juicy marinated pork". When I see that I expect it to be juicy. Mine was a bit dry. Not terrible, but I definitely wouldn't describe it as juicy. However, the flavor was delicious. And the salsa bar is an awesome feature. Staff were all pretty friendly. Worth a visit while in El Paso.

Food is always good. I used to really like their flautas when they 1st established here in El Paso then they got greedy with the sour cream. Still one of our go to spot. It's always a fun late night food and people watch 🤣

Well served beef flautas, with crema, cheese, tomatoes, avocado and onion. It's always busy here.

Such an experience as this cantina. Casual and easy. Open almost till morning every day so that’s amazing. The salsa bar is very good with alot of options. I tried all dishes available in beef and every dish was authentic and well made. Plenty of parking. The night security is an amazing person who greets you in such a nice way at the entrance, i was gonna tip him well but I was not sure if it’s okay in this culture anyway I will tip him next time regardless.

Best authentic Mexican flautas and salsa bar in El Paso! Their flautas have the perfect crunch and they use authentic queso freso with unlimited guac! I also love their homemade tostadas aka “totopos” they serve prior with a variety of salsas to choose from. I’ve had their gringas (picture not shown) & those quesadillas are super cheesy and good too.

I didn’t get what I was ordering, the cashier failed to tell me that they only sold taco plates. Overall the food tasted good, but not a big menu to choose from.

It was Delish!!! Especially enjoy the fact that they stay open late. Now a days can't find anything open at night. I had the flautas today. Everything is delicious 😋

Flautas are very fresh. It's unfortunate that the waiter needs to depend on the tip after you have to get your own salsas. Maybe if the waiter reminds us about having to get our own salsas and not just drop off the Tostadas and drink...

This place use to be good. Now they are skimpy on the meat, more vegs less meat. The cheese not even melted. Flat out dissatisfied. The flautas are more tortilla than meat it's funny because they look so skinny and extra roll of excess tortilla. The waitresses are nice.
